This year we wanted to change from the simple design that “Beginnings had and add more complex things to draw the eye in and focus on photo and art usage. The poems and written works told us which visual piece to use. From there, we formulated the pages one by one until we reached our goal of 28 pages. So, we bring to you, the reader, the second volume of “The Other Side with some color, great pieces and great people. Thank you and enjoy,

Debbie, oh Deborah You’re beautiful to my retina I miss you, you wonderful car I will love you wherever you are You were murdered by a bus Which made me want to scream and cuss You did not like to go fast But I really thought you would last You were the object of my obsession And since we’re in a recession I can’t afford another car But even if I could I’m not sure if I would

Because our love is so deep And I just want to weep You are something I could never replace Oh, who could take your place? My memories of you get me through the day But the depression setting in. I know is here to stay What I would do for a little more time Just another minute for you to be mine Forget you, I will never I’ll hold you In my heart forever R.I.P. Debbie by Andrea Behling

THE RAVEN’S LAIR My heart’s wish I always send. So why do you deny the love you should lend? Now my love, my heart is past much needed mend. I have words for you my dear. So lend me your beautiful ear. Hush, shed not a tear. My lungs have lost their precious air. Yes it’s true my dear, but life as well, cannot be fair. It seems I’ve stumbled upon death’s lair. Look my love, a raven. Do not fear, for I walk upon a haven. My body is no longer laden.
