KickingBird Golf Club
KickingBird Golf Club is the
City of Edmond’s only municipal golf course. Built in 1971, KickingBird is Edmond’s oldest golf course and is still well known for its traditional 18–hole championship layout. KickingBird Golf Club has hosted many professional and amateur championships. KickingBird hosted the Oklahoma Open from 1979–1985 and many of its storied champions include Danny Edwards, Dr. Gil Morgan, Doug Tewell, and Bob Tway. KickingBird is currently the permanent home site of the Oklahoma Golf Association’s Junior Boys and Girls Championships. Come experience great golf with a family friendly atmosphere. Brian Soerensen, PGA Member since 1994, has been the PGA Head Golf Professional at KickingBird Golf Club since 1997 and his staff includes PGA Assistant Golf Professional, Jeff Klappenbach. Driving Range Program Pay $180 for 65 range tokens–a savings of $45 off the regular price. The 65 range token credit is stored on a key which is used in the new range machine and gives you the added convenience of going straight from your car to the range without having to stop in the pro shop.
