和 The Brothers Four 共 12 個歐西民歌巨擘，他們的經典歌曲都傳頌一時，當中可 有觸動過您的心弦？ 自 2005 年起，本地民間團體「香港友 FOLK」每年都堅持舉辦最少一個以民歌為命 題之免費音樂活動。今年， 「香港友 FOLK」延續去年的主題，向 12 個「民歌傳奇」 致敬。大會今年邀請到 23 隊音樂勁旅，帶給大家超過 8 小時無間斷清新的音樂和 民歌，希望和大家一起分享唱民歌的樂趣，Let’s folk together ！ 近日喜歡民歌的朋友圈中常常談論的大事，當然是有民歌之王 (King of Folk) 美譽 的 Bob Dylan 早前獲頒諾貝爾文學獎，這個消息令一眾喜歡唱民歌的朋友都頓感沾 上一點文學氣息。 「The answer my friend, is blowin’ in the wind……」段段優美如 詩的歌詞，成為反戰的標誌。諾貝爾委員會讚揚 Bob Dylan 「 在偉大的美國歌曲傳 統中，帶來了全新的詩意表達方式」 。諾貝爾文學獎委員會主席更讚揚他「可能是 最偉大的在世詩人」 。很多民歌都用字比較淺白，旋律優美，容易上口，而且不少 都帶一點哲理性，同時又反映一些歷史，讓大家唱民歌學英文的同時，豐富了很 多知識。 「香港友 FOLK」衷心希望民歌這音樂瑰寶可以一直傳承下去，使優美的民 歌在本地能廣泛傳頌開去。 「香港友 FOLK」不經不覺已和大家一起走過 12 年有 Folk 的日子，藉著今次特設展 覽向 12 個「民歌傳奇」致敬，希望與您和其他現場歌迷與表演隊伍一起和唱，一起 拍掌，一起回味享 Folk 的快樂時光。

60 年代末期，Rod 哥遊學英國時開始自學彈結他， 自始鍾情於 fingerstyle 的勾指技法，數十年來，始
終如一。80 年代初，他回香港後加入由外籍人士組 成的團體 “Hong Kong Folk Society”，至今已是該團 體的資深會員。近年許多本地民歌友亦通過他的引 介，經常參與 “Hong Kong Folk Society” 每個月定 期舉行的音樂聚會，互為交流。
Sisters First

Sisters First is a pop/rock original band formed by two sisters: models and musicians Sonya First and Viola First. Both sisters are singers and multi-instrumentalists who’s been playing music since the age of 5 (Viola) and 6 (Sonya). The instruments they play include mandolin, violin, guitar, piano. They both write songs and together they make a strong and inspired songwriting team. The sisters formed band Sisters First when Sonya was 17 and Viola was 12 in London, UK. Since then they’ve been constantly writing and performing songs around Europe and UK. Since arriving to Hong Kong two years ago, Sisters First have been performing at local venues (Orange Peel, Peel Fresco, Grappa’s Cellar, The Wanch, PMQ, etc.), music festivals (such as Freespace Happening, Milk Mart, LKF Beer & Music Festival, SportSoho Events) and fashion shows of Without You, Akira Chan, Edward Chiu, Colour Plan, ShineYan and many others. In Hong Kong Sisters First have been covered by the local press (Milk Magazine, MilkX HK, Mine Magazine, YOHO, Apple Daily, Oriental News, SportSoho), as well as broadcasted by media (TVB, RTHK-3). Sisters First performed recently with Hong Kong music legend Agnes Chan and the show was broadcasted on TVB in HK and Japan. Currently they’re finishing recording of their brand new album which will include 9 original tracks. The album will be released in early 2017.

Pete 及 Iris Benzie 是來自蘇格蘭的民歌二重唱組合，現在 仍活躍於 Hong Kong Folk Society。如果問佢地係從那年開
始一起合唱呢。他們多數會想不到。因為他們從初相識開 始已經很自然地一起合唱了。 不要小看 Iris 人細細，但聲音非常夠勁及獨特。加上 Pete 的 Guitar 伴奏及和音，組織成一隊非常突出的夫妻民歌隊。 他兩個的音樂非常廣泛，從清唱自己家鄉 ( 蘇格蘭 ) 的民歌，現代的 Country 及 60 年代的舊金 曲，都有表演。他們曾經表演過的地方，亦非常多，在英倫三島無數的民歌會及民歌節啦；在 歐洲就去過荷蘭及法國。 在 1982 年到香港後，都一直在香港的外國民歌圈子當中佔一席地位；在亞洲亦曾經到過廣州， 菲律賓及泰國表演。

青韻民歌組乃香港青年協會賽馬會筲箕灣青年空間屬下的活 動小組，早於 1981 年成立，相信是香港現時最長青和最活躍 的民歌組之一，其宗旨為「推廣民歌，服務社群，鍛鍊自我」 。 早期青韻的成員主要是來自區內的年青人，透過每週的小組 聚會和不定期的表演活動，以體驗群體生活、發揮個人所長和增強自信心。自 2001 年 10 月起，青韻開始舉辦每月音樂派對 (House Party)，旨在提供社區人士一個開放和開心的音樂 表演平台，至今已經舉辦了 174 次之多，廣受各區的民歌和其他音樂愛好者歡迎。此外，青韻 近年亦夥拍「香港友 Folk」舉辦了多項大型的民歌推廣活動，深受各界好評。除了推廣民歌，青 韻亦積極參與了多項以音樂為主題的義工活動，以音樂來服務社群，回饋社會！ 互 聯 網 於 上 世 紀 末 興 起， 青 韻 也 於 2000 年 6 月 設 立 了 他 們 的 網 站「 青 韻 民 歌 網 」 (http://cwfolknet.com)，這是香港少數有關民歌的網站，協助推廣民歌。Are you ready to folk?

Tony Lee first started singing and playing guitar with school friends when he first heard the Beatles in the 60’s. But when he had to go to England for further studies, he couldn’t find other musicians there to play with; so he ended up playing acoustic guitar alone at home. But this was the 60’s and popular music and culture was undergoing a revolution and, among many other things, the age of the singer-songwriter was born. So he soaked up all the influences of this creative new wave like Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Joni Mitchell etc. And then, like his idols, he started writing his own songs. When he got back to Hong Kong, he played in bands for about a year and then he had to focus on his career and playing music took a backseat. He would pick up his guitar not more than once a month. But in 1990, he started playing again and found some friends to jam with and play the occasional gig. He has been back to playing regularly since that time. And he never forgot about the songwriting. It is still his greatest love and in his performances he always focuses on the song, playing mainly material from other singer-songwriters or his own songs.

“Michael Luna Rafael” was formed in 2015 with main music styles of Folk, Country-Folk & Oldies. Michael Tsui: Chairman of the Hong Kong Folk Club, also known as Uncle Michael and Folk Song Dictionary at the Hong Kong Folk Scene, has been long working hard on promoting the folk music and live music here in Hong Kong. Luna Wong: returned from Europe since 2013. She shown tremendous enthusiasm in music, especially Folk. She believes that Folk music should spread to the new generation. Capo 一個非常簡單的名字，成立至今已經 32 年，喜歡 America、Eagles、Crosby Still & Nash、 一些經典的西方民歌、中文城市民歌和 Capo 的原創歌曲等。我們在 80 年代中期至 90 年代參加
不少區際比賽都曾贏取獎項，最難忘是在 1987 年以一曲 Within You’ll Remain 奪得山葉結他大 賽結他合唱組冠軍。之後在 90 年代初膽粗粗去參加嘉士伯流行音樂節，用 Folk Rock 音樂去同 Hard rock, Blues, Jazz, Fusion 的 勁 Band 較 量， 都 有三次打入最後十強，亦攞過獎，之後發表 Capo 第 一 張 EP “Tell Me Why”， 在 2000 年 更 推 出 一 張 名為“我們唱民歌的日子” ，銷量當然好……麻麻 地，不過就完成了我們擁有一張完全屬於自己 CD 的心願，之後於 2004 年舉辦了一個樂隊成立 20 年 作一個紀念音樂會，現時的成員包括負責結他及 主唱的 Stephen、鍵琴和主唱的 Winnie 及結他和 主唱的 Frankie。

ASTERIE 是由數位本地熱愛音樂的朋友所組成的樂 隊，他們喜歡探索及嘗試不同作風格。除了民謠，
亦混合拉丁、流行、鄉村音樂及 bluegrass 的元素於 歌曲中。樂隊的另一特式，是表演時選用很多不同 的 伴 奏 樂 器， 包 括 木 結 他、Mandolin ( 曼 陀 林 )、 Banjo ( 班卓琴 )、Fiddle ( 小提琴 )、Saxophone ( 色 士 風 )、Clarinet ( 單 簧 管 )、Melodica ( 口 風 琴 ) 及 低音結他等。樂隊的成員，大部分都是音樂老師， 每位個別已經有多年的演出經驗，整體合作了超過 五年，部分更合作了超過二十年，建立了很好的默 契。希望藉著參與今次表演，把我們的音樂風格介 紹給觀眾。

The Clover Five Harmonica Ensemble 五葉草口琴隊
15:24>15:44 「五葉草」是一種喩意「幸運」的植物。 「五葉草口琴隊」 是一隊『長青草』與『常綠葉』的組合。五位成員包括關 志雄 (Gabriel)、黃浚宇 (Isaac)、陳樂汶 (Amme)、馮慧琼 (Vicki) 和陳麟 (Alan)。能幸運遇上，彼此互相珍惜、和諧 合作，一同享受音樂帶來的快樂和滿足。
口琴隊利用不同類型的口琴，包括 10 孔、複音及半音 階，加上低音與和弦口琴合奏出和諧動聽的樂曲。成立 近三年以來，曾多次參與不同的公開表演活動，亦屢次 獲邀在私人音樂派對中演奏，曲目涵蓋不同風格的音樂，由古典樂章以至流行音樂及民歌等。 「五葉草口琴隊」首次參加在台灣舉行的《亞太區口琴節》並以一首自編的「Tango 2016 年 8 月， ，在「創意組」獲得季軍，對口琴隊是極大的鼓勵，也令隊員在合奏曲目的演繹上更有 Medley」 信心。

亞 Ming 和亞 Fai 是親兄弟，由於從小一起玩，很多方 面 相 互 影 響， 聼 歌 聼 音 樂 的 路 向 都 很 接 近。 亞 Ming 玩 結 他 已 玩 了 很 多 年， 從 中 學 開 始， 到 民 歌 組 合 “MARS”，到餐廳酒廊夜場，到現在熱誠仍在。亞 Fai 就 10 多 年 前 才 重 新 拿 起 結 他。Ming’s Brothers 大 致 上是二人組合，亦有跟不同的朋友 crossover 演出， 只要喜歡，用 acoustic guitar unplugged 可以玩的都 嘗試玩。歌曲類型除了 rap 之外，中文英文 folks, country, pop, rock 什麼都有，其中玩得比較多的有 Jackson Browne, Simon and Garfunkel, The Eagles, CSN, Scorpions……另外亦有一些自己的原創作品，不經不覺參加“香港友 Folk”已七、八年了，今年 將會和多年老朋友，資深音樂人 Alex Kong 和 Bill Lo 一起玩啊 !!!
The Folk Ups

The Folk Ups is an indie-folk duo that consists of Ryan Harling and Jasmine Kelly. The two songwriters mostly perform their original material, which ranges from their catchy acoustic pop tune “Tempest”, to their forceful and emotionally charged crowd favourite, “How Long”. Not to mention their unsuspecting murder ballad, “Red In The Sky”. With the combination of a suitcase drum named Shelby, the occasional harmonica and banjo appearance, the duo have earned a reputation for their innovative and expressive ballads, with The Underground HK deeming them a “wholly unforgettable and promising new act.” The Folk Ups are active on Facebook and YouTube where they regularly post originals, covers and updates on any upcoming performances.

AKOSTIKA (acoustic) a 5 male band has been around in HK for some time. The band covered folk, rock, country, blues, pop and the golden oldies but goodies stuff utilizing their acoustic instruments. Herby, Manny, Romy, Bobby and Jesse teamed-up to play songs that some people almost forgot to listen to it again and to bring back our memory lane. They try to stay away from programmed music which is popular nowadays. The good things about watching live band are you can listen to the music, see them move and feel the passion! D’Spectacles 於 80 年初由三個同系中學的〝四眼仔〞所組成，成員包括黄學緯 (Kenny)，方壯年 (Johnny) 及麥峻強 (Mak)。樂隊的風格植根於外國組合 Crosby, Stills and Nash ( 簡稱 CSN)，以他
們清新的結他及清晰雄厚的多部和聲，演譯所擅長的搖滾民謠，成為 80 至 90 年代一隊風格獨 特的組合。 1981 年，D’Spectacles 以一首 CSN 的 “Helplessly Hoping”，於香港電台舉辦的全港業餘 歌唱大賽中奪冠，繼而於當時的多項大型民歌比賽中， 屢 奪 獎 項。1984 年， 樂 隊 更 以 一 首 自 己 的 原 創 作 品 ”Desperate For Time” 勇奪第一屆全港十八區歌唱 大賽合唱組冠軍。此後，D’Spectacles 便一直活躍於 各類型的音樂會，電台、電視台的訪問及表演等。
The Horizons

The Horizons 的發起人是 Thomas ( 梁志強 )。他和 Vince ( 陳家聲 ) 是多年同事。Thomas 退休 後，全心投入音樂活動，在 2012 年，成立了 The Horizons 民歌隊，Vince 當然是成員之一。
其餘成員還有 Murronie ( 廖敏儀 )、Vikki ( 曾健文 )、 Flora ( 梁少芬 )、Kenneth ( 梁津錦 )、 Albert ( 廖超儀 )、John ( 何國傑 ) 和低 音 大 提 琴 手 Marcus ( 楊 耀 文 )； 他 們 都是資深的唱歌發燒友，或樂團的活 躍分子。The Horizons 於 2013 和 2016 年分別在大會堂劇院和音樂廳舉辦了 兩場音樂會，感謝喜愛民歌的朋友大 力支持，兩場都有滿座之盛。

張武孝 ( 大 AL) 資深樂迷也許會記得：早年在中環希爾頓酒店 ( 現址長江中心 ) 的鷹巢酒吧，有一隊作長駐表演 的玉石 (Jade) 樂隊，每晚演奏歐美各地的英文金曲，大 AL 就是擔演樂隊的主音歌手。 幾年後玉石樂隊簽約佳藝電視，佳視倒閉後，大 AL 離隊作私人發展，憑藉他一把沙啞而淳厚 的聲腔，獨樹於本地樂壇，主唱過多首粵語流行曲及灌制了多張唱片，於是大 AL 亦成為本地極 具代表性的其中一位歌手。 大 AL 及後離港北上發展，近幾年始回歸本地 娛樂界並有好幾次的公開演出。多年來，大 AL 一直遊走於東、西方兩種現代音樂曲風，從和 煦的晨曦接唱到斑爛的晚霞；風裏回顧，微茫 歇盡，對此他或會有更深體悟，唱腔比以前更 添幾分厚實、更是穩練了。 今年的“香港友 Folk 2016＂，大 AL 將會連同主 音結他手 Ah Long 及低音結他手 Tony Cheung 一同演出。

Trinity is an extension to one of the most prominent folk bands in Hong Kong from the 80’s: Trinity. It’s member includes Henry Tsui (a member of the folk group Mercury), Danny Cheung (a professional chorus for local artistes) and Barry Chung (composer/guitarist/chorus and First Prize winner (instrumental category) of the 2006 USA Songwriting competition). Trinity is famous for her rich vocal arrangement since Danny and Barry have been singing chorus professionally for a long time while Henry has been the lead singer of Mercury since day one. It will be the band's fourth appearance in this year’s Folk Song Marathon and, just like the rest of the performances, it’ll surely be a memorable event for participants!!
