CAST & CREW A J WOLF | LT. CIOFFI AJ is so excited to be in this latest SCHS production. As a senior, he can’t believe how quickly time has flown by. His four years in Drama have proven to be some of the most exciting and challenging in his life. Previous roles include Moonface Martin in Anything Goes, Melchior in On the Razzle, and the Guard in Museum. He would like to thank Mrs. K. for this wonderful opportunity, Bob Burns for not killing him for kissing his daughter, his parents for not moving him to Washington, D.C., and God for not letting him get hit by a bus. He would also like to thank Lisa, Kelly, Amy, Cassidy, Justin, Mitch, Kayla, and Mama Kara. AJ’s passions are dancing, singing and shopping at the Salvation Army store. Please enjoy the show.

CASSIDY BURNS | NIKI Cassidy, a junior at SCHS, is involved with drama, ASB, NHS, GSA, among other activities. She is ecstatic to be playing the role of Niki Harris in this year’s production of Curtains. This is her fifth production on the Triton Center stage. You may have seen her as both Carol and May in Museum, a dancer in Anything Goes, the German Woman in On the Razzle, and an ensemble member in Footloose. Cassidy thanks her parents for their constant support and love. She would also like to thank Mrs. Kruszewski for believing in her and giving her this amazing opportunity. Also, Cassidy sends love to the drama family for making this an incredible experience, most especially Kelly and Rachel and all the seniors, because she will miss them next year. Enjoy the show!

LISA FEIERMAN | GEORGIA Lisa is a senior and is so thankful to have Curtains as her final performance on the Triton Center stage. She is thrilled to be playing the role of Georgia, which she views as both an honor and a challenge, having never played anything quite this dramatic since her first show at age seven. Lisa’s favorite roles at SCHS include Rusty in Footloose and Emma in Anything Goes, for which she won the Comedienne of the Year Award at the MACY Awards Show last spring. Lisa views this award as one of her greatest achievements. She sends her overwhelming love to this fantastic cast and crew, her thanks to her amazing parents for being her biggest fans, and her insane gratitude to Tod, Michael, and Bob for their friendship and guidance over the past four years. Lisa would finally like to thank Mrs. K for providing her with amazing opportunities and for especially believing in her as an actress. Her years in drama have represented all the best parts of her high school experience. So, for the last time: Enjoy the show!

KELLY KASSIR | CARMEN This is Kelly’s fifth and final show on the Triton Center stage. Her past SCHS credits include: Footloose, On the Razzle, Anything Goes, and her favorite performance as Tink in Museum. She is so incredibly thrilled to be part of the Curtains cast and would like to thank everyone in it for making her years in the Drama Program unforgettable. Kelly would like to make shout outs to: her Momma, Pops, Chanoon, Grandma, Korey, Kayla, Zachary, her “twin” Rachel, Cassidanke, and Spike. She would also like to thank Bob for all his help in preparing everyone for their audition and Mike and Tod for putting up with the cast’s incredibly short attention spans during long rehearsals. Last but not least, Kelly would like to thank the wonderful Mama K for always seeing her potential and giving her a chance to prove herself. Enjoy the show! 3

COLLIN CONWAY | AARON Collin is thrilled to once again step onto the Triton Center stage. Previously, he had the pleasure of being a part of the chorus and cast of such musicals as Anything Goes and Guys & Dolls, and is now thrilled to working with such an amazingly talented cast in Curtains. He looks forward to all his future interactions with SCHS Drama. He would like to thank Connie Cairo for the fantastic lessons, his family for their continued love and support, and Max and Scott for being Max and Scott!

JUSTIN SPIVACK | CHRISTOPHER Justin is ecstatic to be part of the San Clemente High School spring production of Curtains. This is Justin’s fifth production at SCHS, and he is honored to be performing alongside such talented individuals for his final show. You may remember his performance as the lewd Scottish coachman, Bodelheimer, in On the Razzle, and his portrayal of the Yale Man, Elisha Whitney in Anything Goes. He really enjoys playing these comedic character roles and plans to continue his studies of the fine arts in college. Justin has also been playing the piano and writing music for the past ten years. He would like to thank the amazing cast and crew that has become his second family, as well as Mrs. K. for bringing this show to life, Tod Kubo for his incredible choreography, and Michael for all his help with the score of the show. And finally, a huge thank you to his incredible Mom, Dad, Sister, and Grandma for their inspiration, love and support, all of whom have contributed to who he is today. He is certain you will enjoy this show, but if you don’t ... it’s Curtains for you!

NATHAN CORBETT | OSCAR

MAX MORRIS | BOBBY & ENSEMBLE DANCER

CARL JONES | DARYL

This is Nathan’s fourth show at the dazzling San Clemente High School Drama Program. When he performs for people, it brings forth a tingly sensation in his heart, unlike anything he has ever experienced. He absolutely loves spending time with his peers in this awe-inspiring show, and would like to thank Mrs. K for granting him the part of the money-hungry Oscar, and for making drama a big part of his life. He would also like to thank Rachel and Michael Wilkins for making the music come alive, Tod Kubo for putting his body to good use, Bob Burns for making his dreams come true, Connie Jason for making him sound pretty, and his parents for giving him life. Nathan dedicates this performance to his loving Sandy, who through it all was the best dog ever!

Maxwell is a junior at San Clemente High School. He likes to boogie; so naturally, he hops on the same boat as the drama team, and gets to play the role of Bobby, the dance choreographer of the show-within-the-show. Max is very excited to be playing this role, and he enjoys strutting his stuff alongside his partners in crime. He wants to thank his fabulous family, his fantastic friends, and his chaos twin, Scott Pennington. Thank You. Good Night

Carl Jones is a sophomore at SCHS, and he is excited, once again, to be part of the drama team. This is his second appearance on the Triton stage, having appeared in the fall play, Museum. He will be playing the role of Daryl Grady in Curtains and he hopes to continue to do great things with this wonderful cast in the future. Once again, he would like to thank his parents, sister, and all his friends for always being so supportive. He hopes you enjoy the show, or it just might be “Curtains” for you!

RACHEL MURRAY BAMBI & ENSEMBLE DANCER What an incredible show to end an incredible high school theatre experience! Rachel is forever grateful for everything she has learned in the past few years from working with Mrs. K., Tod Kubo, Michael Wilkins, and Bob Burns. She has grown so much as a performer thanks to these amazing people. Other amazing people who deserve shout-outs include Shane, Kelly the Meerkat, and her Mom for supporting her in this extremely time-consuming field. Rachel will never forget each person who contributed to making the SCHS Drama Program truly the best experience of her life! As Cioffi says, “You’re all heroes to me!”

BOBBY SCRUGGS, II SIDNEY & ENSEMBLE SINGER This is Bobby’s third show for SCHS’ drama department and he must say this is one of his favorite shows. You may have seen him in Anything Goes (Chorus), Museum (Mr. Gregory) and now Curtains as Sidney Bernstein, an angry producer who is disappointed in everyone. Well, enjoy the show. It is definitely entertaining!!!

MAYA ERICKSON | JESSICA, ARLENE & ENSEMBLE SINGER Maya is a junior at SCHS and this is her third year in the Drama Program. She is thrilled to be playing the role of Jessica Cranshaw as well as one of the female trio in “In the Same Boat”. Not only is Maya involved in theatre, but she is also a member of the Madrigals, the group that recently went to New York to sing at Carnegie Hall. She was also a finalist in the Stars of Tomorrow vocal competition. Maya has a passion for music, especially musical theatre, and she hopes to pursue it after high school. She would like to thank her friends and family for being so supportive, as well as the cast, Mrs. K., Tod, Michael, and Bob for all their hard work. Enjoy the show! 4

TOM MCNEIL | JOHNNY Tom is a senior this year at San Clemente High School. It is his second and final year in the Drama Program. He first started out as the assistant stage manager in On the Razzle, then took a step up and was an ensemble member in Anything Goes. Over the summer, Tom played his first supporting lead role as Big Jule in SOCSA’s production of Guys and Dolls, and was the security guard in the SCHS production of Museum. Tom is excited beyond belief to be playing the role of Johnny Harmon in Curtains and he finds it funny that he started acting on the Triton Stage as a stage manager, and now he has the same role in his last SCHS production. Tom would like to give a shout out to all the amazing friends he has made during his time in the Drama Program, many of whom he could never live without! Finally, to all the seniors in the program graduating this year with Tom, he would like to wish you all the best of luck in college and in your future careers, whatever they may be.

MITCHELL MCDUFF RANDY & ENSEMBLE DANCER

JONATHAN BREMER | DETECTIVE O’FARRELL

Mitchell is a junior and this is his sixth production at San Clemente drama. He also performs in Coffee House, Improv Nights, and emceed the Winter Dance Concert along with the notorious Adam Jacob Wolf and Lisa Art Feierman. When he isn’t at rehearsal or studying things that he will definitely use in the future (c = a + b 2ab cos C), he enjoys working with his film production company, Flashbulb Entertainment. One of his favorite aspects of both cinema and stage is writing, and he hopes to always look to it as a creative outlet in the future. He would like to thank the amazing cast, crew, and orchestra of this production as well as the hordes of parents involved. On the same note, he would like to thank his own parents for always supporting him and his dreams, no matter how unlikely they may be. Never stop dreaming, and enjoy the show.

Jonathan is a senior and this is his ... well ... this is his uh ... well ... his ... he’s lost count of how many performances he’s had on the Triton Stage since his freshman year (he could use a historian right about now). He feels both happy and bittersweet that this is the last musical of his high school career. Ever since his first Triton performance with his screwball portrayal of Jerome in Henceforward, he has greatly enjoyed being part of the drama family. In his spare time, he likes to cook whatever he can find, read classic novels (very slowly) teach himself (by ear) songs on the piano, film random things with his old movie camera, and best of all, creep out Tom McNeil! Jon would like to thank everyone for their love and support, and especially his loving sister, Laura, for introducing him to this indispensable art. He sends his regards to all SCHS drama kids from classes 2006-2013. Thank You and Enjoy the Show!

TAYLOR MACDONALD HARV & ENSEMBLE DANCER

ALEXA GREENBERG PEG & ENSEMBLE DANCER

Taylor, a junior, is new to San Clemente High School and has thoroughly enjoyed being a part of such an amazing theater program. Before living in San Clemente he lived in southwestern Ohio, where from a young age, has been in and out of fine arts programs, from dancing in the Nutcracker, to performing as head butler, Drake, in Annie. Though he is fairly new to the program, he enthusiastically puts his best foot forward to live up to the expectations of such an esteemed high school theatre troupe. Taylor would love to thank his parents, Tim and Kristan MacDonald, for being so supportive of the musical.

Alexa is a sophomore at San Clemente High School and is very excited to be in her second show with the SCHS Drama family. When not singing, dancing, or acting, she enjoys competitive figure skating and hanging out with family and friends. Alexa would like to thank her family for supporting her in everything she does, and for driving her to and from rehearsal everyday. She would also like to thank her amazing best friend and her boyfriend, Tate and Scott. Oh, and she can’t forget to thank anyone else who has dealt with her cranky, stressed-out mood for the past months due to her lack of sleep. Alexa is very excited for Curtains and hopes everyone enjoys the show!

LAUREN BROOKINS | ENSEMBLE DANCER

DIMITRI GARAUD | ENSEMBLE SINGER

KATHERINE MYERS | ENSEMBLE SINGER

Lauren is a sophomore at SCHS. This is her first musical ever! She used to dance and took a break for a few years but the art of theatre has brought that passion back into her life. When she isn’t rehearsing, she enjoys wasting all her money at Starbucks, sleeping and catching up with her oh-so-busy social life. She would like to thank Brenna for convincing her to audition for the musical or none of this would have happened. She also wants to thank her supportive parents, best friend, Brianna, and her boyfriend, Noah, for dealing with her schedule. She hopes you enjoy Curtains!

Dimitri is a French student at SCHS who came to America just two years ago, in April 2008. He is really excited to be part of the Drama family for his fourth show. Dimitri would like to thank everybody who is part of this production and especially Mrs. K. for everything that has been given to him. Love and Friendship!!!

TY DINGER | ENSEMBLE SINGER Ty is a sophomore at SCHS and is extremely honored to be working in this musical, as this is his second musical production ever. When he was just 11 years old, he was in the production of Grease and got the acting bug. For years, he auditioned for commercials and was cast in one called Marie’s Salad Dressing. He considers it to be an honor to be working with everyone and he really appreciates what a great Drama director the program has in Mrs. K. He is very thankful that Mrs. K., Tod, and Michael have taken their time to work with all the students. Ty also extends his gratitude to his singing coach, Connie Cairo.

MAGGIE FETTERLY | ENSEMBLE SINGER Maggie is excited to make her debut on the Triton Stage with the musical Curtains. A sophomore at SCHS, Maggie’s previous stage credits include performances in Scrooge and Seussical the Musical and she was stage manager for the recent production of John Steinbeck’s Of Mice and Men, all of which were at the Cabrillo Playhouse. While Maggie enjoys acting and dancing on stage, her real passion is singing. She would like to thank her family and friends for the support they have given her throughout the years.

TAIT GEIJER | ENSEMBLE SINGER This is Tait’s second show with SCHS musical theater. He particularly enjoys Tod’s choreography and the opportunity to participate as a dancer. He appreciates that the other people in the show are so helpful and he likes being a part of something that is not only fun to do, but wears him out! He wishes to thank his most positive motivational influence, the extraordinarily, talented and brilliant Boberto Rodiquez! He is an active member of the performing group Kids Next Door. He would like to send glory, praise and thanks to God and a heart full of love to Mom, Dad, Camden and Weston. A special thanks to Ms. K. for this opportunity. 6

ANDY NIEBLAS | ENSEMBLE DANCER This is Andy’s first and only musical. He has never done anything like this, but it has been a good experience. He would like to thank all the people in the production who helped him learn his part, as well as his family for their support.

AMY NORDBERG | ENSEMBLE SINGER This will be Amy’s fifth show at SCHS, and her eleventh appearance on the Triton Stage! You may have seen her in the fall play, Museum, as both Blakey and Zoe. This year, she is in the ensemble with some awesome people (like Kayla Stephens and Sofie Wright). She absolutely loves the Drama Program at San Clemente High and wants to thank Mrs. K. for allowing her the opportunity to be part of the show. It’s going to be a tough act to follow!

SCOTT PENNINGTON | ENSEMBLE DANCER This is Scott’s third production at SCHS. He likes to boogey so naturally, he joined drama. He loves to entertain and perform on stage. Scott would also like to thank his “partner in crime,” Maxwell Morris, and everyone in the crowd for coming to the show.

CURtainsprogram_sample1 4/8/10 11:37 AM Page 7

CAMILLE PHILLIPS | ENSEMBLE DANCER This is Camille’s second musical on the SCHS stage. She was a part of the musical last year in Anything Goes and had a blast, and is so ecstatic to be doing it again with such a talented and fun-loving cast! She would like to thank her supportive family for always coming to see her shows and also her amazing friends. She would also like to thank Tod for the incredible choreography that has been so much fun to dance, and Mrs. K., Michael, and Bob for all the effort they put into the show to make it absolutely great. She is so excited to be part of something so amazing with all these awesome people. She wants to thank her family and friends for being so supportive and Mrs. K. for giving her this opportunity. Enjoy the show!

JENNIFER STIEFEL | ENSEMBLE DANCER Jennifer, a Senior IB Diploma candidate, has worn many different hats throughout her SCHS career. Starting out as a member of the National Championship SCHS Dance Team during her freshman and sophomore year, she was awarded Stage Presence Superstar in ’07 and Most Dedicated Dancer in ‘08. Jenny has trained in an array of dance styles including Ballet, Jazz, Flamenco, Salsa, and Hip Hop and has performed in many musical theater productions in Spain, Germany and in the U. S. She has competed athletically in many events as well and lists her highest athletic accomplishment as having participated in the Junior Water Polo World Championship

in Siberia, Russia. Jenny is thrilled to once again perform on the Triton Stage with all of the special people contributing to an amazing musical experience in this production of Curtains. Heartfelt “Thank Yous” go out to Mrs. K, Tod, Bob Burns, and all of her coaches and teachers, as well as her loving family and friends who have both encouraged and guided her throughout these years. Jenny will be attending USC in the fall of 2010.

KAYTLIN VISCA | ENSEMBLE SINGER First off, Kaytlin would like to thank God, because she would be nothing without Him. Next, she wants to thank Mrs. K. for encouraging her throughout the past four years of her involvement in Drama. This is her eighth and final time on the Triton Stage, and she is feeling very melancholy to say goodbye to all her buddies and drama family that she is leaving behind. Some of her biggest supporters are her boyfriend, David, her parents, her crazy drama amigos, and of course, Bob and Mrs. K. She would be nothing without all of you! She hopes you thoroughly enjoy this year’s performance of Curtains.

SOFIE WRIGHT | ENSEMBLE SINGER Although Sofie is a junior, this is her first year in the Drama Program. She never thought she would be involved in musical theater (because, let’s face it, she’s not the most graceful of beings) until a certain somebody named Amy Nordberg convinced her to try out. Now, she is absolutely thrilled to be a part of Curtains, and would like to thank Mrs. K. for her patience, the cast and crew for their hard work, and Sommy and Amanda Jean for dealing with her insanity on a daily basis. Sofie hopes everyone will enjoy the show because, in her humble opinion, it’s pretty amazing.

When not at school, he spends his free time writing and filming, and is currently working on a short movie entitled Dirt Road, which will be featured at an upcoming film festival in June. AND SpECIAl THANkS TO ... Deb Adams: For taking care of so many of the details involved in the production of the show; for so generously assisting me in areas far removed from your titles of SCHS Booster President and Head of Props; for working weeks-on-end tracking down prop and set needs; for catching any balls I may have dropped along the way; for keeping our dimly lit backstage area both efficient and safe during the nights of the shows; and for doing all of this with a sincerely cheerful and positive attitude. You always manage to convince me that everything you do is "no big deal", when the drama students and I all know that, undeniably, it really is! We also know that the professional look of our sets is due in large part to your extensive work "behind the scenes" and to your immense passion, talent, and determination! I feel so blessed to have had you by my side throughout these weeks. And, of course, a big thanks to your hard-working prop committee members. Jan McDuff: For taking on the enormous job of Head of Costuming two years ago, and doing a truly outstanding job with it! You have streamlined and organized our costuming system in ways that I would never have thought possible. I sincerely adore your attention to detail and your obsession with maintaining clean and orderly dressing rooms - really! I also appreciate the gentle way you push me to refine our costuming process, especially when I am not at my most gentle! And, finally, thank you for your relentless determination not to lose a single rented costume piece. I believe your record stands at 0 losses for 4 shows at this point? Bravo!! And, of course, thanks to your extremely hard-working costume/sewing committee members, Linda Butler and Felicia Oliver! And to Sydney Hardie and Grandma Joanie - heartfelt thanks in appreciation of your dedication to our shows and to our kids. We will miss you very much! Paul Turney: For being our carpenter and handyman extraordinaire!!! For the many, many hours of hard work you put into making our sets look fabulous! You are so innovative about finding ways to make our unusual requests and technical hopes for the show become a reality- no matter how difficult or strange the task presented: A life-sized dummy that must easily navigate the width of the stage, numerous times? Chandeliers that glide in and out of the show, twice, from an already cramped ceiling space? A means of swinging AJ in from the wings - ala Tarzan style - in a relatively safe way? Your response to these requests is always a kind smile and "let me think on that for a few days." And then, before I know it, there it is - voila! - ready to use. And last but not least, thank you for your artful construction of our beautiful stairs for "Tough Act", the waves, the third stair unit, and our awesome saloon set! For this and more, we thank you so much! Sandra Burns: For being such a great Booster Secretary and Head Gopher! For the endless errands, never-ending phone calls, for all the extra help you give to Deb on Props; for so graciously handling seat reservations for our Drama families and comp reservations for our teachers, and for your sweet willingness to do all of these things so quickly! I know that you worked especially long and hard on this one; thank you! Honestly, it relieves so much of the stress of this process to know that I have you to call on in a pinch! Bob Burns: For assisting with the choreography rehearsals during our two-week dance intensive and tech week; for working so hard to help us clean our dance numbers; for your inspiring dedication to excellence and passion for the theater; and for being a great mentor and support for our kids! We love you and can't ever thank you enough for your numerous years of service and for being such an integral and important part of our SCHS productions! Lori Feierman: For your outstanding work for us as Booster Treasurer! For keeping our finances in good order, for the frequent and speedy communications, and for handling our check requests so swiftly, we thank you!! Pam Marshak: For taking on the huge task of Head of Show Program Design and Printing, and for doing such a fabulous job with it! You have such a great eye for what will work; I loved your great poster concepts for both Museum and Curtains. You had so many creative ideas that impacted the professional look of much of our publicity this year. You are truly a rare find! Thank you so much! (And many thanks to your husband, Tom Porter, for his photography and all those trips to the printer!) Stephanie Harnack: For doing such a fantastic job for us as Drama Coach this year! For keeping things running smoothly; for bringing your extensive knowledge of drama, your expertise and valuable insights to our students; for being a wise guide and caring mentor ... We thank you! Denise McNeil: For working so hard this year as our Booster "Ways and Means", for getting our donation letter out; for your many hours of assistance to Deb on props and sets, and for helping in so many other ways - anytime you were asked - we thank you. We will miss you next year! Alumni Parents Gary Wiggle, Tomi Ivie, and Susan Burbridge: For coming back to donate your time and energy to this year's program. Wow! I am so honored and touched by your generosity. Thank you so much! We miss you and, of course, we miss Kimberly, Brian, Evan & Kelli! Nikki Erickson and Jennifer Spivack: For your hard work and efficiency as Co-Heads of Snack Bar, and for organizing all snacks, donations, and the snack bar volunteers ... I know there's a lot of effort involved in this position, and I want you to know that the kids, the Booster Board, and I really appreciate all of your hard work providing us with a delicious snack bar for each night of our shows! 10

... mORE SpECIAl THANkS Debbie Hughes: For handling another extremely important job - Box Office Manager. Outstanding job again this year! We are very grateful for all of your hard work organizing the ticket sales, the volunteer staff, and the ticket printing. Thank you so much! Kristan MacDonald: For being such a fabulous "Queen of Food Kingdom" (Head of Rehearsal Snacks and Dinners). You did a tremendous job organizing the feeding of the cast and crew for so many weeks. I love your passion and enthusiasm! Thank you. Dave Adams: For being our "Official Triton Center Sign Hanger-Upper"; for the numerous hours you put in on the weekends to finish off the details of the set; and for transforming the former "Burger Blast/Zangler's Shop Sign" into a drop that is both lighter and more well-suited for the needs of this show. (I hate it when you're right!! :) Big, big thanks!! Linda Fry: For designing and painting yet another great Triton Center sign; for painting our "Indian/Western crates", and for making our bodydouble of Bobby Scruggs. We can always count on you to come through for us and do such outstanding work! Larry Sutton, Paul Geijer, and Steve Sixt: For taking care of the construction of many of our set needs: the re-assembling of the showboat, the work on the side stage of the proscenium, and for the quick fix for our saloon bar. Thanks for helping out!! Vicki Corbett: For doing a great job as Booster Vice President, Head of Show T-Shirts and assisting with props; and for organizing of show DVDs and pictures. Thanks so much! Tina Klatt: For heading the wigs and hairstyles for our cast, for sharing your unique and amazing talents with us, but mostly, for coming back this year! I am so greatful. We are all sooooo ... happy to have you with us! (And to our favorite world-trekking missionary - Miss you much, Hilary!) Andre Vleisides: For your talent, dedication and patience as our Rehearsal Accompanist. It was a real pleasure to have you with us on Curtains! Hilary Fitzmaurice: For your artful eye, and insightful input on the costuming of our vintage 1950s costumes. You have such talent and are such a delight! Hope to have you with us again next year!? Heidi MacDonald and Maili Rohner of Creative Art Design: For your many years of work on the painting of our sets! You do such an amazing job and make our sets look so professional. Thank you so much. (You can reach Heidi and Maili for any of your faux-painting and decorative home projects at 949-212-7889.) Kelly Mitchell: Our official Drama photographer. Thank you for more years than I can count of donating your time for our headshots and publicity photos. Your work gives that extra polish to our program and publicity. The students and parents love the photographic memories you provide. Becky and Millie of "Millie's Costumes" in Fallbrook: Thanks for the many costume items you were able to find. It was a lot of fun working with you, neighbors! Jeane McPhee and Mike Conlon of the SCHS Dance Team: Thanks for the many times you were there for me and the Drama Program this spring! I really appreciate your flexibility and willingness to help us out in a pinch! George Duarte, SCHS Principal: For many years of support of both me and the SCHS Drama Program. It is a privilege and a pleasure to work with you! Rick Kruszewski, my husband: For enduring so many weeks of my absence - a new record on this show I believe! For cheering me up and cheering me on when necessary; for your many trips to Daniel's Market for my Julian Apple Pie cravings; for taking such good care of "the kids"- Cody, our golden retriever and Samson, our cat; and, most especially for being such a wonderful husband and blessing my life in so many ways .. love you much! Janelle, Catherine, and Blake Beadle, my children: For growing up into such delightful adults; for being so much fun to hang out with; for inspiring me with your courageous approach to life; for supporting me - always! Know that I am always proud of you! .... love you much! Random raves and reflections from the director: (Dated April 1, 2010) As I write this we are at Week 7 in the rehearsal process, and Day 4 of tech week. Tech week is a deceptively benign term referring to the week prior to the opening week of a production. During this time, all efforts are focused on marrying the technical elements of the show with its performance parts. The experience is grueling and rigorous. I've spent the last four weeks in daily rehearsals and production meetings lasting until 9 or 10 p.m, six days a week. Sadly, my husband, Rick, has forgotten my name, and upon my arrival home, my dog and cat look at me as if I am someone they knew long ago. But I am as certain as I am exhausted that I share my current state with the more than 40 parent volunteers and 100 SCHS students involved in the production of Curtains. And so please accept my tremendous and heartfelt thanks "to each and every one of you"! - Mrs. K. 11
