Coaching Courses CYSA "PRE F" Introductory Course This course will cover the fundamentals of organizing the team, working with parents, establishing a practice regimen, selecting a coaching methodology. This course is free or at a minimal cost and is hosted by the Districts. The course is a must for new coaches, full of useful practical information for coaching a youth team. Parents and/or Coaches wishing to take this course should contact their local league coaching coordinator. Course objectives: To provide the new individual joining the coaching ranks of CYSA with the most modern soccer coaching methodology available. To develop an awareness of the need for a soccer education and promote an active participation in the future CYSA workshops and coaching courses. Coverage extends to teaching the skills for the First Attacker and First Defender. This is a 9 hour course that combines field and classroom instruction.
