ADMINISTRATIVE Cal North Board of Directors Meeting Held Sunday, December 8, 2013 Pleasanton Ca Agenda and Meeting Recap This is a brief recap of the December 8th Board of Directors meeting. Minutes from the meeting w ill be posted after Board approval at the January meeting. For more details on items, please contact your District Commissioner. Cal North CYSA Organizational Document Proposals: Proposed documents review ed and discussed; w ill be submitted as rule change proposals for the 2014 AGM Hall of Fame Nominations: Agenda item tabled for January Board meeting State ODP: Board approved the U17 Age group for ODP Referees: Board approved travel for 2 referees and 1 assessor to ODP Championships Cup Rules – Housekeeping: Board approved the housekeeping changes to the Cup rules Club Pass implementation: Board approved Affinity to integrate the capability of the club pass softw are in to the Cal North platform. Please Keep Cal North Aware of Any League or Club Board of Directors & VIP Changes Did your league or club make any changes to your board of directors at your recent AGM? If you have new board members, members changing their role w ithin your board, or new contact information for current board members, it is most important that Cal North is made aw are of these changes via email. Having the most current information made available to Cal North w ill help us in contacting you about important meetings, events and updates, and also in recognizing league or club delegates during the Cal North Annual General Meeting. If you have any board changes, please fill out the LEAGUE BOARD OF DIRECTORS CHANGE NOTICE (click here) and forw ard those changes to Debbie Alvarez at dalvarez@calonorth.org
2014 Certificates of Liability Insurance are now available. Request forms can be obtained on the Cal North website (click here) or download here. League Officials - form should be submitted when requesting an insurance certificate for a facility or field. We began processing 2014 Certificates of Liability Insurance on December 2, 2013. Certificates will be processed on a “first come, first serve� basis.
Affinity Sports / Cal North Data Management System & Registration System Update
Affinity Sports, our official “technology partner� effective for the 2014/2015 season, has begun hosting webinars for Cal North affiliated leagues/clubs interested in utilizing the online cloud based registration platform. This exciting service will provide affilates with the benefit of full data integration at no additional cost. To schedule your webinar contact an Affinity Sports representative today toll free at 1-877-700-1470. Update 12/18/2013. Affinity Sports has agreed to lower their Electronic Check fee from the contracted $5 flat fee to the following grid pricing: Registration fees between $0-150 customer would pay $2 Registration fee between $151-500 customer would pay $3 Registration fee of $501 and higher the customer would pay $5 This fee only applies to members/customers utilizing the Electronic Check payment option for when paying for services online.
