The Ignite Innovation Accelerator is designed to help growth-focused businesses accelerate their growth and outpace their competition through rapid innovation. CEO Peer Mentoring Utilizing the Edward Lowe Foundation’s internationally recognized methodology of peer learning programs, the Calgary Chamber’s CEO Peer Mentoring program is designed for leaders of growth-focussed companies. In a trusted and confidential environment, participants draw from the expertise that only other entrepreneurs would have. Participants gain direction based on experience, and real-time feedback on sensitive business issues from peers who are facing, or might have faced a similar issue, allowing them to form conclusions on how to solve problems and leverage opportunities.

Services

Emergency Business Contact Database In partnership with the Calgary Emergency Management Agency (CEMA) and supported by the Government of Alberta, the Calgary Chamber has developed the Emergency Business Contact Database (EBCD).

During an emergency situation that could impact the operations of your business, the EBCD will provide communication and collaboration between CEMA and the business community (Calgary and southern Alberta). The premise is simple. Businesses register a primary contact person in the database. During an emergency situation, the Calgary Chamber, which is an official partner of CEMA will operate with the Emergency Operations Centre. Chamber staff would then work with CEMA staff to distribute communication to companies registered in the database in the terms and perspectives needed by business. This database currently has over 8,000 businesses registered, and is a great way to promote your emergencyrelated services.
