“We also make sure that we experience the process of designing and building our own new house every two to three years. That allows us to live through and improve our process as much as we can. We test the new products and live with them instead of just being handed a brochure from a salesman. We are in our sixth home we have built for ourselves, and I think our customers will agree that it has paid off in the quality of home we build.” Another fully custom builder participating in this year’s Parade is Bramante Homes. Billing themselves as small, local, nimble, and personal, this employee-run builder focuses on Albemarle and Augusta Counties.
