Double Threat Quarterback Matt Kobli had a recordsetting season with his arm in 2008. He had the same with his feet! Kobli recorded the second-highest single season passing total (2,518 yards) in Butler football history, and he set a Butler single season record with 23 touchdown passes. He further rushed for 493 yards, the most recorded by a Butler quarterback in more than half a century)! He rushed for 116 yards against Missouri S & T, setting a single game record for Butler quarterbacks. Kobli finished the 2008 campaign with 3,011 total offense yards, the secondhighest single season total in Butler football history!
