Roughly two months in and this book is off to astounding success. We know that you, our distributors, have many choices each day when it comes to whose catalog to open and where to bring your business. ANNOUNCEMENTS WELCOME RJ FRYAN The B-TEK team continues to grow and we are proud to introduce another new member of our team. Please join B-TEK in welcoming our newest addition: RJ Fryan. As our new Marketing Manager, RJ will be working alongside the sales team to provide our customers with an incredible experience. This position is essential to ensuring that our customers continue to receive ever improving levels of customer service and support – and given RJ’s track record of career success, we know our customers will be happy with him on the team. RJ is originally from Canton, but has spent time in Indiana and Pennsylvania. Before joining B-TEK, RJ grew through the management ranks of Canton Drop Forge, a large hammer forge shop, which produces critical components for a wide variety of industries ranging from mining to aerospace. Through his various positions RJ worked alongside customers to build reliable solutions that improved the customer’s value proposition within their marketplace. Outside of the office you can find RJ, running, brewing beer, and spending time with his wife and son. At B-TEK we focus on finding individuals who align with our core values and are able to take on the challenging opportunities in front of us, RJ embodies these principles and we are excited to bring him aboard.

Making your day-to-day operation run smoothly is what we strive to do. Providing a more extensive product line and more options for your day-to-day is what we have set out for with our Load Cell and Hardware Catalog. These are items which you, our distributors, have asked for and we have done our best to deliver.
We have set out to provide a wide variety of different manufacturers and types of cells. Aligning ourselves with the top manufacturers who provide a high quality, reliable product.
B-TEK has carried an extensive load cell inventory since our inception in the mid 90s. Since many of our distributors haven’t been aware of that, we thought now would be a good time to address a few principles we live by when it comes to receiving orders from our Load Cell and Hardware Catalog.

Each product page has dimensions with high quality renderings. You will also find cross referencing for each load cell that typically provides interchangeability with a couple other products.
Does B-TEK have stock of every item in this book? Yes, this book was complete roughly 6 months before the first copy was released. This was to ensure that multiple units of every piece and part was received here at B-TEK and available for same day shipment from our Canton, OH facility.
Our standard zinc plated tank mounts have long been a product that many distributors don’t associate with B-TEK. We also offer stainless steel options in each model.
Pieces, parts and cabling will all be found in the back of our book. These items cover all of the different options you can choose to add with our load cell offering.

Will products ship out same day? Yes, orders received by 5pm EST will ship same day. If an order needs to go out that day which is received after 5pm EST then special considerations will be made.

WORLDWEIGH C100 REMOTE BASE COUNTING
Items that are already on a pallet or in a container can be counted on a remote floor scale base. A sample of the parts will be taken on the local counting scale base, and then a tare can be entered for the pallet or container holding the items on the remote floor scale base.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Place pallet or container of parts on floor scale.
2. Be sure local base is selected on counting scale. Press (if necessary)

3. Place sample parts on platform of C100 counting scale.
4. Type # of sample parts on keypad, followed by 5. Press

key.
to switch to floor scale.
Number of pieces will be displayed for the remote floor scale.
TO KEYPAD-TARE (FOR PALLET OR CONTAINER): 1. Type in tare weight on the numeric keypad, followed by the
key.
Number of pieces, minus the tare weight of the pallet or container, will now be displayed.

Quarter 2 Review Brett Kaufman We are halfway through 2016 and while business is steady, there is reason to keep an eye on the economy. We have staged a bit of a rebound in manufacturing activity and commodity prices since the beginning of the year, but with the upcoming election there seems to be a lot of “wait and see” taking place. We expect reasonable growth through the end of the year with much better prospects toward the beginning of 2017. As always, we appreciate your support and would like to hear any feedback as to how we can improve and make your business run better each day.
