This warranty covers materials and workmanship that may lead to failure of the weighbridge structure. Every digital indicator sold alongside a B-TEK truck scale is protected against any defects and covered in the event of a power surge or lighting strike. CPD-M load cells are fully covered against damage due to surge voltage or lighting. B-TEK Scales, LLC warranty provides new or repaired parts to replace defective parts and covers labor and travel expenses. This warranty does not cover damage due to misuse, abuse, accident, neglect, alteration, modification, improper or unauthorized installation or repairs, improper testing, superficial / cosmetic damage or deterioration, overloading or natural disaster.

B-TEK’s history grew from decades of experience in the scale industry. Our team had experience servicing several different truck scale models, each with their own set of strengths. Constructed in 2003 by its Italian weighing partner, the Bilanciai Group, B-TEK adapted the design to meet and exceed American industry scale needs. Outperforming all competition, the CPD-M is the only load cell of its kind that offers hermetically-sealed stainless steel (IP68 or IP69K) construction to withstand the coldest winters in the Arctic Circle to the blazing heat of the Sahara. The advanced digital technology at the heart of the load cell system constantly monitors external forces, such as temperature, voltage changes, inclination, and speed of applied load to apply adjustments, to achieving optimum weighing results within a hundredth of a second. Patterson also commented on the efficiency of the digital load cells from a dealer’s perspective. “Once we started distributing the digital load cells, our dealers immediately noticed a difference in service,” Patterson said. “They [scale dealers] performed fewer calibrations because the load cells held the calibrations much better than any other load cells on the market.” In addition to the load cells holding calibration longer than their competitors, dealers also see fewer failures compared to other load cells. The hermetically-sealed design protects against water and lightning damage. The CPD-M combined with the heavy steel beam design proves the Centurion-DT can stand up in the toughest environments. The Centurion-DT is such a robust scale that B-TEK also offers an optional 10-year warranty that covers parts, labor, and travel. Quarter 1 Review Brett Kaufman Quarter one of 2017 is off to a great start. We can attribute this to a 2016 election which finally gave people the direction (regardless of which side you are on) they were looking for to spend money. A mild winter and soaring consumer confidence has also contributed to our fast start and we see no reason why it won’t be maintained into the Summer of 2017. Right now we are seeing nice spending from the Waste, Aggregate and even a steady pick-up in the Scrap Metal Industry. We see an expected increase in agricultural toward late spring and early summer. While last year was a bit unpredictable at times due to a looming election and depressed commodity prices, we believe that commodities are in a better place for 2017 and built-up demand will help drive the market for weighing equipment in 2017 and into 2018. As always, we appreciate your support and would like to hear any feedback as to how we can improve and make your business run better each day.
