one-third advanced. There is full snow coverage on the slopes because of the state-of-the-art snow guns. Snow-making is a science – yes, it is real snow. The only difference is that it blows from huge guns that loom over the slopes, rather than soundlessly falling from the sky. It is beautiful to watch – snow is made during the late night/early morning hours. The slopes are lit and the snow blows at an incredible rate for hours and hours. It is most beautiful at dawn. Bryce also inaugurated a new quad lift last winter (for a total of 5 lifts) allowing lines to move faster and eliminate

log jams at the bottom of the slopes. The new lift can move upwards of 1800 people per hour up the 500-foot vertical rise. Skiers can hone their skills at our nationally-known Horst Locher Ski School or enroll their children in the Kinder School & Ride programs. These programs cater to children ages 4 to 7 years of age. In Kinder School children learn the basics of skiing. The Ride program teaches kids age 67 basic snowboarding skills. Both are half-day sessions taught by experienced instructors. Class size for Kinder School ranges from 2 to 8
