DIRECTOR’S

Message

I think we can all agree that 2020 has been a year like no other. The unprecedented circumstances of the year brought us incredibly challenging situations, but they have encouraged moments of self-reflection as well, and I’m optimistic about 2021. While 2020 has taken away so much, it has also given us the gift of time to spend. Maybe you now have the time and opportunity meet some of your fitness goals, do unfinished DIY projects or enhance your jobs skills online. Whatever your plans may be, I hope Broward County Library will be able to fill some of your time with our wealth of materials, available both online and now in person. Online live events, classes and workshops, opportunities to grow personally, professionally and creatively – Broward County Library strives to provide outstanding access, discovery and delivery of our services and resources, all to provide you with an enhanced and engaging customer experience. Call us, visit our website or visit your nearest branch to get started. We are still offering curbside service, so it’s never been more convenient to get the resources you need. Time is a gift. What we each decide to do with that gift is up to each of us.

Sincerely, Kelvin Watson Broward County Library Director
