Kit Kat’s sire was Glnycoch JPR and her dam was by Foulrice Denethor. She went on to take the Reserve Interbreed Champion title. Victorious in the Lamb Interbreed competition was D P Jones’s ewe lamb from his Pwll flock in Brecon. She was out of a ewe purchased from

Mr Jones reports that the ewe is looking well and destined for the show ring again this summer. His flock also supplied the reserve breed champion; a senior ewe. She was bred in the Arjane flock of Arwyn Thomas and purchased as a ewe lamb in 2006. She was sired by Galtres Dominator out of a Foulrice Rival ewe.

Mrs Curtis also picked up three other red tickets the first being with her senior stock ram, Onecote Incredible who was also sired by Parkgate Highlander and goes back to an Elmwick tup on the dam’s side. First in the shearling ram class was Garriston Kilowatt, which Mrs Curtis jointly owns with Mr and Mrs John Girffiths. This tup was purchased in 2010 as a lamb at the Builth Wells sale. The final class of the day was for a group of three lambs all sired by the same ram. Heading the line-up were Cecil and Janet Thomas with two ewe lambs and a ram lamb from their Wolston flock near Coventry. They were all sired by Logie Durno Jeeves a joint purchase at 3,000 gns at the 2010 Worcester Premier sale, with Charles Sercombe’s Dalby flock. www.charollaissheep.com
