“The most amazing part of traveling to the Galapagos Islands was studying plants and animals in their natural habitats. I was completely taken away by the natural beauty.” – Jenna Roderick, Grinnell, Iowa

“The Honduras mission trip was a life-altering experience for me. I learned about the realities of living in a third-world country. I’m not sure who benefited more – the Hondurans or me.” – Matt Collins, Sioux City

“In Italy, we paralleled our classroom learning with ancient historical locations and recent effects of globalization. Oh, and they have really good pizza!” – Amanda Elbert, Sioux City

“Going to Honduras was one of the greatest, most fulfilling journeys I’ve ever taken. Serving as a translator on the trip also was an experience I will never forget.” – Martin Cortez, San Antonio,Texas

“Living in the heart of Rome allowed us to experience Italy first-hand. I loved it!” – Natalie Delgadillo, Dakota City, Neb.

“The Galapagos Islands were absolutely amazing! While snorkeling, a sea lion came within five inches of my face.” – Ashley Henke,Washta, Iowa

Taylor Murren, Wahoo, Neb., averaged 18.0 ppg for Jan. 16-22, earning Murren GPAC Men’s Basketball Player of the Week.
