ORANGE SHERBET JELLO SALAD by Diana Judah Felice 6-oz box of Orange Jello (or two 3-oz boxes) 1 pint of orange sherbet Container of Cool Whip Small can of mandarin oranges (8-oz) 1 cup hot water Directions Thoroughly dissolve the jello in 1 cup boiling water. Add in 1 pint of Orange Sherbet. TRIPLE CRANBERRY SAUCE by Leo 1 cup frozen cranberry juice cocktail concentrate 1/3 cup sugar 1 (12 once) bag fresh cranberries, rinsed and dried 1/2 cup dried cranberries 3 tablespoons orange marmalade 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed orange juice 2 teaspoons grated orange peel 1/4 teaspoon ground allspice
Stir until completely melted (I use electric mixer). Add the juice from the mandarin oranges. Put the mixture in the refrigerator for 15 minutes until it starts to set. Mix in 1 cup of Cool Whip (I use electric mixer). Hand fold in the mandarin oranges, reserving 5-6 of the nicer ones for decoration. Put BACK in the refrigerator for two hours, or until fully set.

MONDAY MUSINGS: THE FIREPLACE Good morning loves! How was your weekend? I have to tell you, I missed you like crazy. Crayzay. I am sure the feeling is mutual. So today I am discussing our beloved fireplaces. Or mantels if you will, and I will. I honestly think people feel that mantels are one of the most difficult areas to adorn in their home and I can see why one would feel that way. It is a focal point of the space and the dimension is somewhat challenging. My best words of advice? Whatever you do, keep it unique. Vary the scale, use odd numbers and stack. There is my two cents.
