The SHE Word is an empowering podcast for Women streaming on YouTube and Spotify. The SHE Word is also on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and TikTok, and now available on Air Malta’s in-flight entertainment system.

The podcast features three women and the show’s host Trudy Kerr, sitting around a kitchen table, having ‘Conversations women rarely have, but really should’ whilst casually sharing a glass of wine. The discussions are created to be open, often emotional, frequently educational, and always empowering. The show explores a wide range of female-centric topics such as Parenthood, Menopause, Body Image, Social Media, Relationships, Sex and much more. Since its launch in September ’22, The SHE Word has reached over 1.5 million collective views, ranking it in the top 10% of Spotify podcasts in the world, and amassing over 100,000 plays on YouTube, all thanks to its informal and refreshingly honest format.

After less than a year of its launch, The SHE Word format now extends to additional audiences. The month of July saw the launch of The SHE Word - Young Women’s Edition, hosted by Sasha Vella, activist and journalist for the show’s media partner Lovin Malta. This show specifically addresses the issues faced by younger women, aged between 18 to 26. Sasha’s direct but sensitive style helps the show navigate around topics that are rarely openly discussed between young women, but are having profound impact on them, such as body image, mental health and dating. Sasha herself has appeared as a guest on episodes of The SHE Word on Women and Women’s Health, and Women with a Voice - presenting the perfect opportunity to host a show reaching out to a younger generation of women who often believe they have no voice.

The S HE Word’s symbiotic relationship with news portal Lovin Malta has elevated the show beyond traditional online platforms, bringing these important conversations to a much wider audience. Founded in 2016, Lovin Malta is an award-winning digital media platform boasting the island's biggest and most engaged online following. The network creates impactful local content, including the country's best online journalism.

Lovin Malta is also the perfect resource for visitors to the islands with features, news and reviews of restaurants, venues, events, and the latest updates on what is trending in Malta in a tone of voice easily accessible to all. Follow Lovin Malta at lovinmalta.com and across all social media platforms.

The SHE Word Season One is available to watch or listen to through the Air Malta In-flight Entertainment System. To watch more of The SHE Word head to www.youtube.com/@theinterviewer_thesheword. As The SHE Word heads towards its 3rd Season the team became aware that as a bright light was shone on these often-taboo topics, it was essential to offer support to the women affected by them. In June of this year The SHE Word launched its Patreon Page and partnership with The Richmond Foundation to offer support and therapy to women who simply can’t afford it. The Patreon Page provides early release to shows, exclusive content, partner offers and deals and tickets to forthcoming The SHE Word events.
