VUELVE CONCOURS D’ELEGANCE TODO EL GLAMOUR DE LOS AUTOS CLASICOS PRESENTADO EN CASA DE CAMPO Por Segundo año consecutivo se presentará en República Dominicana el Concours D’Elegance Casa de Campo. Una Excepcional exposición de automóviles Clásicos y de Colección en una exhibición pública, que contará con vehículos estadounidenses y europeos con años de historia, permitiendo a los visitantes apreciar los particulares estilos y las piezas clásicas de cada modelo. El comité organizador del evento informó que la exhibición se realizará en el marco del Polo Challenge, el próximo sábado 24 de Febrero, a las 4 pm, en la Cancha #2 del Club de Polo de Casa de Campo Resort. Allí se apreciarán varios modelos de múltiples marcas y épocas, en perfecto estado de conservación, tales como: Ford, Chevrolet, Mercedes Benz, BMW, Ferrari, Alfa Romeo, Rolls-Royce, Porsche entre otros clásicos. Los modelos de los vehículos van desde 1919 hasta los modelos exóticos más recientes de PORSCHE. Los espectadores podrán apreciar la evolución del automóvil a través de las décadas en el exclusivo ambiente deportivo y familiar de las canchas de Polo, donde también se realizará un after polo, Food Truck, Cocktails Lounges y un divertido Petting Zoo que será montado para que los niños sean parte de la vida de campo. Adicionalmente habrá un zona donde los principales concesionarios del mercado mostrarán sus últimos modelos, los cuales van a poder ser probados por los asistentes en un driving experience track en el perímetro del polo. Esta es la segunda ocasión en la que el Polo Challenge y el Concours D’Elegance presentan juntos una oferta de entretenimiento de clase Mundial, abierta al exclusivo publico de Casa de Campo Resort & Villas

FUNDACION MIR CELEBRA GALA ESPLENDOR MAGICO CON DESFILE DE MODAS DE NAEEM KHAN EN CASA DE CAMPO Casa de Campo, La Romana. - La Fundación MIR celebró con éxito su tradicional Gala Esplendor Mágico, que tuvo lugar en la villa Casa Grande en Casa de Campo, con los anfitriones especiales Raysa y Alfy Fanjul, quienes abrieron las puertas de su hogar como cada año para tan importante ocasión. Para este evento regresó al país al renombrado diseñador Naeem Khan, quien presentó un colorido desfile de moda de su más reciente colección para primavera. Entre las celebridades que han lucido sus diseños están las actrices Eva Longoria, Brooke Shields, las cantantes Beyoncé y Carrie Underwood, así como la pasada Primera Dama de los Estados Unidos Michelle Obama. La Gala Esplendor Mágico tiene como propósito recaudar fondos para los proyectos sociales educativos que dirige Fundación MIR, entre ellos mediante la venta de preciosas joyas y piezas de las tiendas Saks Fifth Avenue y Roberto Coin. “Una vez más nos sentimos muy felices y comprometidos de recibir en nuestro hogar a tantas personas que nos apoyan y forman parte de este evento que brinda los recursos necesarios a tantos niños necesitados” expresó Raysa Fanjul, Vicepresidenta de Fundación MIR. Por más de 25 años, MIR ha impulsado amplios programas de educación y salud en sus escuelas vocacionales para hembras y para varones. “Esta es una noche de celebración, y con la ayuda recaudada podremos seguir avanzando con nuestros niñas y niños en las escuelas” dijo la señora Lian Fanjul de Azqueta, Presidenta de Fundación MIR. El evento incluyó torneo de golf durante el día Sábado en el exclusivo campo de La Romana Country Club, en modalidad de scramble para los jugadores.
En la noche en Casa Grande hubo coctél de bienvenida previo a la cena que prepararon los chefs de Casa de Campo especialmente para la ocasión. La Gala fue presentada por la maestra de ceremonias Renata Soñe y la animación musical estuvo a cargo del DJ Edwardo Louder y luego música en vivo con La Boba Band.
