Hogmanay Gala Ball Tuesday 31st December The evening starts at 7.30pm with a complimentary glass of bubbly, Bucks Fizz or orange juice. Dinner is served at 8.00pm with our entertainment programme commencing around 9.00pm. This will include our Ceilidh Band followed by our Resident DJ playing all the classic hits before our Piper brings in 2014 to the sounds of the pipes at midnight. Haggis and Clapshot (vegetarian option available) will be served at 1.00am with dancing continuing til 3.00am. Terms, Conditions and Booking Procedures The Normandy Hotel’s dedicated Events Team are ready and waiting to help you with your enquiry seven days a week from 9.00am until 7.00pm. Provisional Bookings Provisional bookings will only be taken for party’s of 10 or more guests. Bookings for party’s under 10 will be required to pay the appropriate deposit at the time of booking. Provisional bookings will be held for a maximum of 7 days, at which time, they will be released if no deposits have been received. Confirmation of Bookings A booking will be considered confirmed upon receipt of a nonrefundable or transferable deposit. A £5 per person deposit is required for Senior Citizen Lunches, Disco Party Lunch, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day Carvery’s. All other events are £10.00 Per Person deposit with the exception of the Hogmanay Gala Ball which is £20.00 per Person. Final Payments Final settlement for all events and accommodation prior to 24 December 2013 is due by Monday 4 November 2013. Final settlement for all events and accommodation after 24 December 2013 is due by Monday 25 November 2013. Any bookings not fully paid by the allocated date will be deemed cancelled, and all deposits forfeited. Prior notice will not be given. Accommodation A non-refundable or transferable deposit of £10 per adult will be required at the time of booking, when booking accommodation with event. The full payment for all accommodation will be due with the final event settlement. Guests who are attending the event but do not wish to book accommodation via the main party organiser are able to do so with full payment due at the time of booking. Family rooms are only suitable for up to 2 adults and 2 children per room.

Cancellation Cancellation of individual guests or party booking will result in deposits being forfeited, as all deposits are non-refundable or transferable. Once deposits are lost, these CANNOT be reinstated should party numbers increase. The final settlement of the event and accommodation would require 21 days notice for any refund of the settlement to be applicable. Guest’s outwith this notice period or not attending on the night will not be refunded.
Payment Methods Payments will only be accepted from the main party organiser. Cheques should be made payable to the Normandy Hotel and will not be accepted within 10 days of an event taking place. Tables of 6 or less may be required to join other small parties to bring table numbers up to a maximum of 10 people. This will not apply to the Hogmanay Gala Ball. Drinks Pre-Orders Pre order drinks MUST be paid at the time of ordering and will be on your table for arrival. The Management reserve the right to change the Pre-Ordered drinks list without prior notice according to stock availability. You will be advised of the latest Pre-Orders available at the time of ordering. Pre-orders will be accepted until 48hrs prior to your event taking place. Kids Children are not permitted to the Disco Party Nights or Tribute Nights as these are over 18’s events. They may attend Christmas Day, Boxing Day, Hogmanay Gala Ball and New Year’s Day events, however for the Hogmanay Gala Ball they will be required to eat from the main event menu and will be charged half price (£35.00). Disclaimer The Normandy Hotel cannot be held liable should the booking agent exercise his right to substitute a suitable alternative tribute act if the billed performer/s becomes unavailable. The Normandy Hotel reserves the right to cancel or amalgamate any event or move to a smaller function suite/restaurant should numbers dictate. Should an event be cancelled an alternative date or a full refund will be given. The Normandy Hotel reserves the right to operate bag searches & refuse admission. Dress Code The Normandy Hotel operates a dress code at all events. Trainers and T Shirts are not permitted at any event. Dress code for our Hogmanay Gala Ball is formal with a minimum requirement of a shirt and tie for all gents.
