Thank you to those of you who toured our 24 gorgeous Artisan Homes last June. Our builders and their trade partners were thrilled to welcome so many families to their homes. And, with your help we were able to present the BATC Foundation a $16,000 check. The BATC Foundation uses the dollars raised during the Artisan Home Tour as well as the Parade of Homessm to build and remodel homes for Twin Cities’ families in need. Earlier this year they completed a new accessible home for a young man severely injured in a hit and run

accident. And next year they will be constructing a new home for a young soldier wounded in Afghanistan. Two other heart-warming projects that Artisan Home Tour visitors helped fund were special bedrooms for Eli (a five-year old with Acute Lymphatic Leukemia, thankfully in remission) and Kate (a lovely fiveyear-old born with Type 2 Pheiffer Syndrome) this summer. Working with Special Spaces – Minneapolis and member partners Che Bella Interiors and Bob Michels Construction, the Foundation was able to create safe, special bedroom retreats for these two youngsters.

THE GOAL OF THE BATC FOUNDATION IS TO HELP PEOPLE IN NEED. We partner with like-minded organizations and our building professionals to rehabilitate structures or build new ones.
