BUILDING FUTURES THROUGH HOUSING The Artisan Home Tour helps support the work of the Housing First Minnesota Foundation as it builds tangible housing solutions to end homelessness for veterans and Minnesotans in need. For more than 25 years, the Foundation has been transforming housing and impacting lives. This year, our Foundation continues its great work by constructing four new Housing for Heroes homes, each with a detached accessory dwelling unit, for Minnesota veterans experiencing homelessness. These homes will provide an additional 20 beds for homeless veterans and veteran families in the Twin Cities. The Foundation also completed a remodel of four units in an old Minneapolis apartment building. These apartments are designated for women in chemical dependency treatment living with their children while in recovery. By touring these incredible homes, visitors and participants have helped raise hundreds of thousands of dollars over the past 10 years — dollars that have made a real difference in building housing and moving individuals and families from homelessness to hopefulness.
