The nursery is special to Leona and Chad. They tried to have children for seven years. Baby Bronson was born on December 31, 2013, so he was a New Year's baby. “We tried to plan the nursery around us and our family. Before it was the nursery it had blue carpet and the same shade blue walls, it is definitely a 70's home! Chad ripped up the carpet and painted the walls. He and my brother in law laid the hard wood/ laminate down. Chad made the closet interior and the book shelf that is on the wall. My mom made his curtains and the runner on his chest of drawers. My parents purchased the rocker for us and Chad's parents purchased the crib. My nephew, who was 2 1/2 at the time, painted the painting above his drawers with the same colors that we used on the nursery. I made all the DIY things you see, the closet organizers, the canvas prints about his crib and the footprint canvas, the liners for the baskets with the same material as the curtains, the two shadow boxes with his birth details (Chad said they are his "stats") and his first outfit. The clock on the wall and the small trash can cover were in my room as a baby.�
