Don’t worry there is more, Bell’s will take over a few taps at Mellow Mushroom Happy Valley and North Coast will be tapping three amazing beers including the very limited Barrel Aged Old Rasputin. Green Flash will be the featured guest at a beer dinner at Windsor. Also look for Left Hand Brewing at Taste of Tops and a Craft Beer Tasting at Priceless Primetime on Dobson in Chandler. Is it Wednesday already? How’s the liver doing? Hope you ordered a spare…I prefer an external USB liver as it is easiest to work with. But I digress…Don’t think you get a break just because it is Hump Day. Speaking of breaks, did you know that Lucky Break in Tempe has a pretty good beer list? New Belgium will be manning some taps there for a fun event. Draw 10 in Phoenix has an Evening in Colorado where you may see some of the stars of the Colorado craft beer industry in attendance. Oskar Blues has two events going on both starting at 6:00. Up in Grayhawk they are taking on SanTan in a taste challenge at Cold Beer and Cheeseburgers, but don’t worry the real winner here is you. Also, the folks from Longmont will be at Angels Trumpet for Slippery Trumpet night. If you are a bicycle rider, this is a great stop. Slippery Pig Bike Shop will be in attendance doing

mini bike tune-ups and will host a short night ride starting at 6:00. For those of you who prefer to stay and drink, there will be plenty of Oskar Blues on tap. As a bonus, Chad and Jeremy from the brewery will be on hand. More fun can be had at Flanny’s Craft Brewer Trivia Night where your favorite craft brewers will take you on in a trivia contest. Ground Control in Litchfield Park hosts Veronica from Bells in a SpecTAPular while Boulders on Broadway has New Belgium Wild Night with a plethora of sour beers on tap. Wrap up your night with the Mayor of Lodo, Tebo from Breckenridge and a nice cigar/beer pairing at Fox Cigar Bar, or step it up a notch and stop by Yucca Tap Room for Beer and Burlesque. Ska handles the beer part and the rest is left to Breezi and The Deviant Dames. Thursday has some big time events including Beer Dinners at Trophy’s and Cave & Ives. The former features the beers of Big Sky while the latter is an Abita Brewing Louisiana Fest. Mellow Mushroom in CityNorth will be tapping a variety of Rare Beers including Bell’s Hopslam, Oskar Blues G’Rauch, Ballast Point Habanero Sculpin and more. Abita also will be giving away some swag at Casey Jones Grill with a Name That Tune Challenge, and Whole Foods on Mayo has a night in Longmont with both Oskar Blues and Left Hand Brewing being featured. Divide Yeti Night featuring 15 different Great Divide beers including most of the variations of Yeti Imperial Stout. In Chandler The Hungry Monk once again transforms into Bell’s Eccentric Café West as they offer 21 different Bell’s beers on tap, most of which are beers that were sent to Arizona especially for the event. Look for a special tapping of Black Note and Bourbon Barrel Cherry Stout. Proceeds from the Black Note go to the American Heart Association.

And, Flanny’s hosts their annual Colorado Firkin Festival with seven amazing firkins prepared especially for this event. TGIF because we are finally winding down Beer Week. As usual Friday night is one for big events. Whole Foods on Mayo offers up a mead dinner featuring the amazing honey wines from Redstone Meadery. Moto has a Limited Release Tapping, filling their taps with some beers that you may not find anywhere else. Papago Brewing will teach you about Sour beers with some amazing sours from New Belgium presented by brewer Eric Salazar. This will roll right into the annual Shuffleboard tournament where many of the suppliers show up to compete for a coveted trophy. They all bring great beer to enjoy and it is a great chance to relax with them. Two big tap takeover events are also going on. Boulders on Broadway has a Great

If you are still standing on Saturday morning, you can head over to Arcadia Tavern for Bars on Bikes. Bring your bike and hit up five fantastic bars finishing up back at Arcadia Tavern for a barbecue. If you are not up for riding, how about learning about bike maintenance? Handlebar and Grill offers Bikes, Brews, Bloodys and Brats which is exactly what it sounds like…a little bit of everything featuring New Belgium. At Angels Trumpet, it is an Afternoon in Belgium where you can enjoy some outstanding Belgian beers on the patio. Left Hand brewing hosts a Cornhole Tournament up in Anthem at Legends Saturday night and a promo at 1st Round Draft in Gilbert. Bison Witches hosts a combination canned beer promo and food drive. This event features the incredible trio of Big Sky (Big Don), Ska (Arlo, the Barroom Hero) and Breckenridge (Tebo, the Mayor of LoDo) and if you bring two canned food items for St. Mary’s Food Bank you get your first beer for a penny. Afterwards, the same three brewers will be featured in the Finale, a pub stroll down Mill stopping at random bars, spreading joy and goodwill wherever they leave…I mean go.
