TIPS FOR TOURS ON TWO WHEELS:

• Solund: The gently rolling terrain makes Solund perfect for cycling. Combine a cycle tour with island hopping on the local postal boat. • Værlandet og Bulandet: The 5.24 km Nordsjøporten road between Værlandet and Bulandet takes you across six bridges right out where the fjord meets the open sea – perfect for cycling! • Askvoll: Cycle over the new Dalsfjord Bridge and along the fjord to Holmedal. Take a break at the Helle Fabrikker outlet shop before continuing on the old road along the fjord to Askvoll. We can also recommend a trip to Follevåg where you can watch the sunset. • Hyllestad: Take a cycle tour along the Trondheim Post Road, with its beautiful stone bridges, and pay a visit to the Millstone Park. • Florø: Explore Florø’s small-town idyll on two wheels or take a bike trip on one of the beautiful islands in the archipelago surrounding the town. • Måløy: Cycle to Refviksanden beach or Kannesteinen. Visit Vågsberget on your way out to Kannesteinen. • Kysten på langs: If you have plenty of time, you can cycle from Gulen in the south to Bremanger in the north. Combine cycling along the Fjord Coast with Norled FJORDCard, which gives you five days’ unlimited travel on the express boats. Hop on and off the boats, and cycle the sections of your choice. norled.no • Naustdal: Try a trip along the Nausta river, up towards Naustedalen, or a walk along Førdefjorden towards Helle and Russeneset. • Gaular: There are many routes along the Gaularvassdraget water course. Hestadfjorden is recommended, as well as Rørvikfjellet and

Gaularfjellet, if you want more of a challenge. • Jølster: On the south side of Jølstravatnet, you can cycle along a peaceful, idyllic path to Astruptunet. A trip to see Stardalen’s fascinating landscape is also recommended. • Førde: From the centre of Førde, we also recommend a trip to Angedalen. If you want something a little more challenging, we recommend a trip to Holsen and Rørvikfjellet. See en.fjordkysten.no for more information about the different cycleroutes.
