RETURNS! After a 5-year hiatus, the indie recording company returns.
Kansas City, MO, December 03, 2021 --(PR.com)-- Dreamin' Out Loud, LLC, a credited limited liability company registered in the state of Missouri is very proud to announce the relaunching of its' indie record label Dreamin' Out Loud Entertainment.
Established in 2009 as a family-owned indie Contemporary Christian Pop label, Dreamin' Out Loud Entertainment (D.O.L.E.), was voted indie label of the year at the inaugural 2013 IMEA Music Awards in Ashland, Kentucky. One single, "Rough Day," was released on its' flagship artist in 2014. In 2014, (D.O.L.E.) signed Christian Contemporary Pop artist, Kristin Rader from Cleveland, TN. The single, "Smile," was released in 2015.
In 2016, (D.O.L.E.) was put on inactive status, but as of Fall 2021, has been re-launched as a multi-genre niche entertainment recording company focused on spreading a positive, up-lifting message through the creative arts. Its’ releases will be through mp3 only.
"Our mission is to bring to the world positive, uplifting and professional materials of the highest quality," says Arthur E. Payne III, CEO. The first official release for the re-launched Dreamin' Out loud Entertainment label was an original Christmas song entitled Emmanuel (Wonderful Counselor), written by Jordan Biel & Mark Biel & released 12-3-21. Jordan Biel is the founder and CEO at Innovate Records. Lead vocals are by Amanda Ownby Stacey. The single was originally produced and arranged in 2014 by Jonathan Crone in Nashville, TN with lead vocals rerecorded by Joe Mills of Highpoint Recording Studio, Lenexa, KS. Dreamin' Out Loud Entertainment is a company founded on Christian principles and morals and is a division of Dreamin' Out Loud, LLC.

An Interview with musician/ songwriter/ music producer/ business owner: How long have you been involved in the entertainment business? Embarrassingly, about 45 years. I'm oooooooold! Who has helped you along the way and inspired you the most? Firstly, my older brother was a musician and something of a deejay when we were coming up so I started out following in his footsteps. My grandmother funded a lot of my early music endeavors. She and my mom bought me my first drum (snare drum in elementary school band class) and she bought me my first bass. Along the way, a friend named Larry Lacey was the first to invest their own personal money in my band Westpoint when we were mostly only performing original music around Kansas City. That took a lot of faith in us when we rarely played cover songs. The circle of musicians around me always inspired me and drove me to be a better musician and songwriter. That list is long bro... James West, Charles Warfield, Jeff Jones, Alonzo Powell, Alex Ayala, Wilson Ramirez, all of the band Wylde Bunch, Ethan Young, Jackson Sage, Inna City Reel... I know these are probably not 'spotlight' names but they've kept me focused and interested in doing music. Good music. My wife has been riding shotgun through this whole process for over 30 years so.. just tolerating that alone is noteworthy. Music influences would be Cameo, Slave, Brothers Johnson, Marcus Miller, Pleasure, Lakeside... everybody doing great music in the 80s and 90s. The wonder years.

What are some of the highlights of your career so far? I would say.. any time I was able to produce and release original music was always a highlight... from the old Intrepid Records staff producer era to my band's label Hitmaker Records to... my own label in the 90s Jeep Beat Society. Also, touring is always a favorite memory. Especially touring the country with Wylde Bunch as bass player and road manager. Playing the Sprite Liquid mix tour stops with O.A.R. for 10-20,000 people. Play the VooDoo Festival in New Orleans and Trans Musicales festival in Rennes, France. So many good memories. Oh, almost forgot the Wylde Bunch songs featured on a bunch of EA Sports games like Madden, MLB 2007: The Show, NFL Street, Gran Turismo, and a bunch of others. Have you received any special awards or achievements? Not me personally but I think we got awards for sales of the video games. For sure Madden and MLB. Do you have any special events, shows / gigs coming up? I'm excited about a new release I'm doing as the artist (a rarity in itself) called "The Ghost of Trayvon Martin". It's more a less a social commentary record about current times. I'm very pleased to create it and hope it's received in the spirit it was intended. Some toes will probably be stepped on but I'm very proud of the work and the art involved. Also, I just shot and directed a short film called "Fit The Description" that I'm wrapping up editing. It will be entered into film festivals and such so it won't be available to the direct public right away but... soon. I'm very happy with it and the team that helped make it happen all knocked it out the park. Also, I'm shopping a kid's TV show I've been working on for a few years called Noodle Food. You can see some content from it on YouTube and FB under NoodleFoodTV or at noodlefoodtv.com Where do you see yourself in the next 5 or 10 years? I hope to have Noodle Food signed and in full production for a few years by the 5-10 year mark. I would love to be creating full time. What would you like your legacy to be? Just as someone who was passionate about creating and not being limited in your vision. Someone who advocates kids and dogs. lol. A person who saw all the creative lanes available and chose all of 'em. Do you have other interests? I'm very community and family minded so anything to do with uplifting the community, especially but not exclusively Black culture.. I'm there. I love pets and am a strong advocate of pet adoption and animal rescue. I'm a huge movie buff in all genres. Love a good romantic comedy, thriller, or horror. Oddly, musicals not so much. Any special words of encouragement or advice for our listeners? Yeah, I'd say "go deaf". Don't listen to others that will try to bullet point the reasons why you shouldn't pursue a dream of ANY type. People who armchair quarterback your life and your decisions should have no credence. Sing off key till you get it right, write that song that no one understands, mismatch your colors, shave your head... do you. As long as you're loving yourself along the way, anyone else's acceptance is just window dressing. F*ck fear. Use negativity directed toward you as rocket fuel to push you toward your goal. I guess that's it. Let your encouragement be self-powered.

How long have you been involved in the entertainment business? I’ve been in the entertainment business for 40 35 years Who has helped you along the way and inspired you the most? God has helped me every step of the way more than anyone! All of my blessing come from above! He’s placed some wonderful people in my life, but ultimately the praise is his! What are some of the highlights of your career so far? Be able to travel the entire world, via CRUISESHIPS, or touring with Disco Diva GLORIA GAYNOR of I WILL SURVIVE fame! Have you received any special awards or achievements? I’ve never received and awards or achievements other than the blessing to do what I Love to do Do you have any special events, shows / gigs coming up? None at this time due to the pandemic! But hopeful things will open back up SOON! Where do you see yourself in the next 5 or 10 years? Hopefully by the grace of GOD, still performing and recording! Hopefully having a hit record or two!!! What would you like your legacy to be? I would like for my legacy to be “INSPIRATION! Inspiring people to LOVE and not HATE, leave something that speaks of and to LIVE and PEACE for this troubled WORLD! Do you have other interests? I do, I Love gardening (GROWING FOOD!). Working in my yard, sitting on my patio with my DOGS relaxing!!! Any special words of encouragement or advice for our listeners? In this troubled remember that HAPPINESS is a choice, it is much more difficult and PAINFUL to walk around angry and evil! Be kind to others, even if they’re not kind to you and treat others like you want yourself or people you love, to be treated!

the chat with Roz Royster McCommon musician/songwriter/music producer/ business owner
We asked Roz how long she has been involved in the entertainment business and her answer might surprise you. Roz has been in the business since was 4 years old with the help and inspiration of her family and friends. Roz describes some of the highlights of her career as singing at the Royals, Mariners and Seahawks stadiums. She has received the Top College Religious Music Award, NAACP Award for music, and the Top Music Achievement HS Award. To finish out the year she performed in several Christmas shows and sees herself still recording, performing and growing in videography in the years to come. Roz would like her legacy to be, "Musically, I'd love to know that I've touched people, brightened their day and make them smile from hearing my music, along with seeing and feeling God in my spirit in this cruel world.
