She was born in a home in the east end and raised in a religious family, in the central part of Little Rock. The neighborhood was full of violence and the house she lived in, was right across from a night club called Ju Joint. The Ju Joint played music at all times of the night with shooting, fighting, cursing, people knocking at the door of her home…crying out help.

She was sexually abused as a child and verbally abused through-out her life. She was once physically abused as an adult by a stranger within the community. She always considered herself a loner from K-10 grade. Throughout her life, her abuse was suppressed and she self-medicated without using drugs or alcohol, she became codependent. She attended South Central Career College where she received an associate’s in Business and Computer Science. Out of 4 of her siblings, her brother was like a twin to her, he was considered her brother, best-friend and father. This brother died in 1989, his body was found underwater for three days; newspaper read it was due to drugs selling or that he had a hit out on him. This tragic death took her three years to recover. This brother had a surviving son whose depressions of his father’s death lead him to the life of drugs before the age of 18. She is the mother of one son, who is now 23 years old, a college student, a son whom she has kept close to her heart, and not just a son, but a friend that has uplifted her in the time of need, giving her back the seed, which she had planted within him. She always disciplined and encouraged him with the Word of God. She is very proud of her son for he exceeded her expectations. Her son was born in 1990 and she raised him in a single parent home. He was diagnosed with ADHD, but 5

she persevered in that situation and her son has been successful through high school and college and that diagnoses and label no longer exist today. In 1994 she attended Pulaski Technical College for Computer Repair because of all the pressures of being a single parent she had to discontinue. It was a very challenging time and she knew her child came first. She worked for an aircraft industry as a senior planner clerk and worked on several projects with a lead supervisor, using her IT Technical skills. Her Lead Supervisor (Steve Block) challenged her to make things happen that didn’t exist, that challenge stimulated her passion more. She was able to continue her education during work time, which was approved to accomplish the task at hand, which made her an asset to the companies planning department. With God’s help she mastered every challenge before her, but at times she felt her race and sex defined her, in the sight of some of her surrounding Co-workers and Managers. (She felt this was a disadvantage for advancement). She will always be grateful to Steve Block for believing in her, giving her the opportunity to challenge her passion and opening the door to continue her education. She married in 2000 and for the first time in her life, she had to learn not to be so independent, strong-willed, but be a submissive wife, (the adjustment was not easy for her). She volunteered and used her IT Technology experience within the churches she attended and developed computer labs. She coordinated, schedule classes for each division and taught ages 5 – seniors. She taught her husband how to build computers and they began to work as a team. Her marriage lasted for 4 years due to her PTSD, surgery and followed by an unseen disability, from five car accidents (not the fault of her own) which occurred between the years of 1990-2000. In 2003 when she was discharged from her job within the Planning Department because of medical reasons, she was illegible for re-hire, as an employee exceeding all of her job duties on each and every review. (Her health became worse after a cervical bone fusion, which was preformed on the wrong side). She currently has two nerve damages one in her neck, which travels down to her right hand and one in her upper back. She practice living without stress, eating right, exercising 3-times a week and surrounds herself with positive people; otherwise the negative energy will increase her pain level with inflammation. The doctor’s final solution would be requiring a lot of medication and more surgeries. Some days are good days, some days are bad, but she is ok with taking one day at a time. (Like a lion, if she goes down, she comes up stronger than before). 2006 she was approved along with her long-term disability, from her previous job and was able to receive SSD, but in 2007 her long term disability discontinue because she voluntarily accepted the settlement due, to financial difficulties. From 2006 to Present she has been working part-time independently under her profit organization, as Certified Professional, Virtual Services to provide clients’ customers with superior customer service. Through all of her experiences (verbal, physical and mental abuse), she knows that our past traumas does not define who we are or dictate our destiny. Her personal relationship with God keeps her “Spirit” pressing forward in a positive manner, even though at times her flesh wants to quit during her obstacles, look back with “PTSD” you can’t let it go. But with using her daily tools of prayer, fasting and talking with God; by trusting in Him only, covered by His love, standing on His promises, with her request made known to Him to get her through each day… she keeps her focus. In 2010 she decided to start a program for internship to use her passion to help other to become more successful and have the opportunity to prove themselves in the area of IT Tech and other Virtual Admin skills to enter their desired careers. 6

June of 2012 her health worsens (her symptoms were: pins, needles, tingling all over the body, including stabbing feeling in the head with pressure like hemorrhaging at night, heart raced to 180). She felt as though death was around the corner, but God was calling her and wanted her to listen. God said to her… it is time to give back, the voices not heard would be heard, those in the back would come to the forefront, and those in bondage would be set free, God said we are in the now. God wanted her to listen and follow his instructions. At the age of 48, God healed Pat’s brokenness (with the help of her mother), increasing her faith, she identified, confessed, with forgiveness to her abusers and herself, without suppressing, in order to release the bitterness, move forward and break the cycles of the past. 2012 God finally ordained her calling, under her new name “Rebirth4Love”. Through all of her adversities, God presented the question to her… “What will you do with all I’ve taught you and brought you through”. Her answer was “I owe you, because of my internal prosperity, which makes me a Kings Kid and with your power and my experiences, I now can challenge your people who mirror me, to be empowered… by knowledge and our experiences, but not be stagnated and defined by them”. She decided to form an organization that would be a resource for all, a safe place to let go and let God, a place that would recognized the uniqueness in the in disadvantaged, underprivileged, abused and misused. Ebony Network Connection – Represents the place of resources, FB3 Refuse represents the place for survivors to learn and be empowered and FB3 Radio Broadcast is a place where the voices crying help are heard and empowered. FB3 Radio is also a place for the listeners to embrace awareness of the past and improve the lives of the children and their future, who will represent tomorrow…the days to come. ~I am not an expert and only teach & encourage from the leading of the Holy Spirit and from first-hand experience! Q&A with Author and It Matters Radio Host

Monica M. Brinkman

Monica Brinkman believes in a humanitarian world. Her novel, The Turn of the Karmic Wheel, reflects this belief. The sequel, The Wheels Final Turn, is expected to release in 2013. She is also a contributing author in 25 Years in the Rearview Mirror: 52 Authors Look Back with her story, My Life As A Singing Telegram. Ms Brinkman enjoys the beauty in life, choosing to be positive in a sometimes very negative world. She supports the EBMRF Foundation in its search for a cure for the genetic disease Epidermolysis Bullosa. Her laughter fills the airwaves and her heart fills the world. Monica is also an accomplished actress, singer and artist, painting in oil and acrylic medium. A member of the Missouri Writers Guild, V.P., host of It Matters Radio Show and columnist of A Touch of Karma, she resides in the Midwest with her husband, 2 dogs and 5 cats. This is one lady who believes in giving it forward! Check out her web-sites and weekly column by clicking on: A Touch of Karma Meaningful Writings without everyone working together, we would never have excelled.

Let’s meet Monica‌ Q1: Hello. What is your name? How long have you been involved in the entertainment business? Monica M Brinkman. I've been in entertainment far too many years to confess, so let's just say, well over twenty. As far as being the Host of It Matters Radio, it has been a bit over two years.

Q2: When did you know that you wanted to be in this business and what was your motivation? From the time I heard my first song, viewed my first movie; I knew this was my path in life. At first, I was motivated by the joy an entertainer brings to the audience. Later, I found the most pleasure was in giving back to the world via the It Matters Radio Broadcast. There are far too many talented individuals and groups who need exposure. So, we at It Matters Radio do all we are able to provide this for them.

Q3: Who has helped you along the way and inspired you the most? More than anyone, my husband Richard and my dear friends, Brenda Brown, Kenneth Weene and Kerry Hall. All these people give so much of themselves to others and ask little or nothing in return. There is no other act that could inspire anyone more than pure selflessness and I admire them greatly. Kerry has been a part of my life for so many years, she is like a sister; a part of the family. Kenneth Weene, our Co-Host, assists so much in seeking guests and is an excellent fiction author in his own right. Then we have the Big 'B' or should I say, Ms. Brenda Brown of Brenda Brown Entertainment. This is a woman who is so busy she really doesn't have the time to act as Musical Director for our shows, but being the caring, giving woman she is, Brenda makes time and it is for the love of Indie Artists and music. I'm so fortunate to have these individuals as friends and co-workers on It Matters Radio. Total inspiration.

12

Q4: What are some of the highlights of your career so far? To name a few, I've been a Singing Telegram performer, vocalist in a band, community theater producer and director and audio voice for radio commercials. Oh yes, mustn't leave out author as the release of my first book was very exciting. Yet, it is my time Hosting It Matters Radio that bring the most joy. Our guests are diverse and from all walks of life, from famous celebrities to the very young singer wanting to break in to the industry. How thrilling to have a venue where they may share their talent and their topics of conversation.

Q5: Have you received any special awards or achievements? Well, as an Operations Manager and Supervisor I have received many awards but these awards belong to the entire staff, for without everyone working together, we would never have excelled.

Q6: Do you have any special events, shows / gigs coming up? One special event is our October 31st Halloween Broadcast. We invite authors and musicians to present a flash fiction, short story, piece of poetry or bit of music via our web-site http://itmattersradio.wix.com/radio The winners of the writing and music contest will have their music played or read their story live on the Halloween Broadcast. And of course, we have some gifts to give them. We have continual contests to win books, films, CD's, T-Shirts, Hats, or whatever wonderful trinket of appreciation is available to our listeners. All the information is found on our web-site under Current Contest.

Q7: Where do you see yourself in the next 5 or 10 years? Alive, I hope. Seriously, our goal is to have sponsorship so large we can put tons of money back in the show and perhaps leave a small bit for ourselves. Thus, the goal is to be known as one of the best, if not the best, radio broadcasts in the world. Our guest have been so pleased that we are not the typical self-hype program where the host wants to talk about their latest book or organization. We believe it is common courtesy to focus on our guests, not ourselves and the guests certainly do appreciate it. We also take time to write reviews in our web-site for the guests to share. It Matters Radio believes that by being humble, generous and courteous, yet provide a fun, entertaining venue, others will embrace us as hundreds of thousands have already. So, hope I will be hosting the show - perhaps more than once per week.

Q8: What would you like your legacy to be? That I touched people's souls in such a way they realize the importance of helping each other, not judging too harshly and are a better person for having met me. It is up to each of us to give what we are able, without asking in return, for that is the greatest feeling and gift we could possess in life.

Q9: Do you have other interests? What services does your company offer? Too many other interests which is why I sleep about four hours per night. Writing, painting in acrylic/oil medium, history, and I must say I do get involved in political matters a bit. It Matters Radio, along with giving individuals a chance to be a guest on the show, also has sponsorship available. I must say it is quite an affordable rate and hope people will check out our Sponsorship pages on our web-site. We also offer humor, entertainment via skits during our broadcasts. Laughter is very good for the soul and a positive attitude brings each day in with great joy.

Q10: Any special words of encouragement or advice for our readers? Do not every, ever, every give up on your passions in life for these are you God given talents. Yes, you may still need to work a full or part-time job, but make time for what you enjoy. If not, life will not bring you the joy intended. Also, love other people and be good to each other, for in the end, we all came from the same Creator and we are all brothers and sisters in this life. Thank you so much for the opportunity to tell others about It Matters Radio and love to all. Enjoy this life!

Say Hello to Author and Christian Band Help CEO, Marie Wise Christian Band Help is a ministry of Unleashed Arts, run by me, Marie Wise. I have been working in the Christian music ministry for 30 years, in a variety of positions… musician, concert promoter, visual artist, band manager… you name it, I have probably done it. My husband, Mark Wise, was the bassplayer for the band Right Side Cast. Mark has been a Christian musician for over 20 years. My goal now is to support the ministry of art. I hope to put the emphasis back on the ministry that art has to The Creator, the one who is doing the creating, those who are enjoying the creation, and all the people in between. The Ministry of Art is experiencing relationship with God through creative endeavors. Some examples of the potential impact of art are: a song lyric that gets stuck in your head, a painting that you just can’t stop looking at, or a poem that grabs your heart. The ministry of art is significant because it bypasses the mind and goes directly to a persons spirit. We need to support this important ministry as a key tool God is using for this generation. Yea, it’s a big dream. But God (my two favorite words) tends to think bigger than we can imagine. So, I am starting by serving Christian musicians with ChristianBandHelp.com. We’ll add visual, performing, and literary arts as we go along… unusual? A little quirky, maybe? Definitely not inside the box. Sounds like God to me. Do you want to know more about what we do and why we do it? CLICK HERE Don’t forget to check out The Christian Band Guidebook. It is our best resource to get you started on your journey towards an extraordinary music ministry. CLICK HERE to find out more about the book. You can contact me at: marie@ChristianBandHelp.com or UnLeashedArts@yahoo.com Follow UnLeashedArts on Twitter and Facebook to be notified of the latest updates. Q1: Hello. What is your name? How long have you been involved in the entertainment business? Marie Wise over 30 years

Q2: When did you know that you wanted to be in this business and what was your motivation? I went to a traditional church most of my life but did not have a relationship with Jesus. When I went to college I,of course, did not want to attend church because it was boring. My friend invited me to a church (college campus outreach ministry) where they played guitars and sat on the floor of an old house. I was hooked because of the folk music and came to know Jesus first hand shortly thereafter. A few years later I was working as a staff member of an inner city outreach that had a coffeehouse with live music on the weekends. We also promoted larger concerts on a college campus. One of my sisters came to the first large concert I was involved with and met Jesus at the concert. Since then, and still now today, I am convinced that Christian music is one of the best tools we have to connect with many people that would not normally attend church. Music has the ability to reach directly into a persons heart and create an experience that changes us forever. I call this the ministry of music when Christians use this experience to bring people closer to Jesus.

Q3: Who has helped you along the way and inspired you the most? My inspiration comes from the Grandparents of Contemporary Christian Music: Nancy Honeytree, Randy Stonehill, and Larry Norman. Their ministries were all a little before my time but the effects of their lives and the way they looked at Christian music changed my life. People who have helped me the most would, of course, be my husband Mark Wise. You can read a post by Him at http://christianbandhelp.com/god-wants-us-to-wear-pink/. I joke about how people used to tell me to marry the man who looks most like Jesus. So, I did. There's a photo of Mark at the bottom of this page: http://christianbandhelp.com/about-marie-wise/. But I actually

17

married the man who acts the most like Jesus. I have never met a person who lives out the love of Christ as much as Mark. Marks twin brother, Michael Wise, has also been a huge help to me. He is currently the lead Pastor at Stonebridge Church in Findlay, OH. Michael was the lead singer of the band Right Side Cast, a modern rock band. Mark was the bass player and their youngest brother Travis Rankin was the guitar player. Prior to Right Side Cast they had been in a gospel family band called the Wisemen. Michael taught me most of the technical and equipment side of being in a band.

Q4: What are some of the highlights of your career so far? I have published The Christian Band Guidebook and done most of the things you would expect anyone in the music industry to do such as promoting many concerts, performed solo and been in bands, managed and owned coffeehouses etc. But, the highlights of my career have been watching bands I work with succeed. Sometimes that means they learn how to book more shows or perform with greatly improved stage presence. Other times it means that bands work through relationship issues rather than breaking up or smaller things such as filing taxes correctly. Success is not always playing on the big stage. Success is doing what God has called you to do, the way He wants it done, and when He wants it accomplished. I am successful when the bands I help move closer to their success.

Q5: Have you received any special awards or achievements? No, I try to stay out of the limelight and keep the attention on the bands and musicians.

Q6: Do you have any special events, shows / gigs coming up? No. I am focusing almost exclusively on writing my next book: The Christian Musicians Devotional, so I have not planned any events.

Q7: Where do you see yourself in the next 5 or 10 years? I hope to have more one on one contact with Christian musicians and bands. Lately my work has been primarily limited to e-mails and social media. After I finish writing The Christian Musicians Devotional, my focus will shift to live events.

Q8: What would you like your legacy to be? I would like to be remembered as the person who loved Jesus so much that she laid down her life to help Christian bands create extraordinary music ministries. These bands will have ministries that bring people closer to Jesus.

Q9: Do you have other interests? What services does your company offer? I love the ministry of art in all it's forms: literary, performance, visual. I also love to remodel homes and garden. My company offers ChristianBandHelp.com, a website designed to give wise guidance for extraordinary music ministries to Christian bands and soloists. Christian musicians can contact me at marie@ChristianBandHelp.com with questions or for advice. The Christian Band Guidebook is available on Amazon or Here: http://christianbandhelp.com/christian-band-guidebook/. We also offer limited consulting and speak at events with Christian Bands (such as fests and Battle of the Bands). Questions about consulting or booking Marie to speak should be directed to marie@ChristianBandHelp.com.

Q10: Any special words of encouragement or advice for our readers? Never, never, never give up. God has something for you to do. No one else can do it. So, get out there and start. You are not going to get it all right, you are going to make mistakes. But, you will grow and learn through the process. You will have the most extraordinary adventures and change the world forever when you trust God to work through you!

Let’s Meet AAron ALLen, Founder of Extreme Christian Entertainment

Extreme Christian Entertainment, is a Christian movie making ministry to be apart of a group of churches. We produce Christian movies that share the Gospel of Jesus through extreme controversial issues we all face in the world rather we are Christian or not. Our movies and filming are used to Glorify God, Bring people to Christ and teach Biblical morals/principals. The name came to me when I prayed to God, asking for a new name I felt him telling my heart to look at all the new Christian movie ideas which included a re-boot longer version of KIDNAPPED RUNAWAY and a newer Christian version of HAUNTED HIGH SCHOOL among others and realized they covered extreme and controversial issues in the world. I prayed on the name, EXTREME CHRISTIAN ENTERTAINMENT. God made my feel right with it, and that is what the name of the new Christian movie making ministry came to be that I am starting though a group of Churches. Extreme Controversial issues we may cover in the movies we produce:Abortion/Adoption, Crime, Drugs, Marriage/Divorce, Teen sex/Teen pregnancy, Purity, Demons/Ghosts, Foster Care, Aids, Cancer, Rapture/Tribulation/Revelation/2nd coming of Christ, Judgment and more.... Q1: Hello. What is your name? How long have you been involved in the entertainment business? I am Aaron Allen, I got involved in acting/filmmaking in High School where I became an extra and crew in several PSA films.

Q2: When did you know that you wanted to be in this business and what was your motivation? It was during my sophomore year in high school I thought I was more interested in how movies were made and acting. Then six months later I got my chance and got to work on the PSA movies, it was on set of the second movie God showed my heart that acting and filmmaking was/is my calling. It was years later that God showed me where I was truly needed in filmmaking.

Q3: Who has helped you along the way and inspired you the most? God gets a lot of the credit, but Lonzo Jones of Dreamline Productions mentored me as well. Along the way many others have helped as well, and God brought them into my life. So, God is the major one.

Q4: What are some of the highlights of your career so far? Its been rough but what isn't. The major high lights didn't come till recently. God has brought many people into my life to work with me. We have distribution for our movie before we even film and that's a major thing. We got an awesome support team involved that lead us to our benefit concert coming up to raise some production funds. We even had some cast make contributions without being asked, its just they really believe and support the project.

Q5: Have you received any special awards or achievements? Not yet, but a lot of our team for this movie project has. The writer of the script won an award for the script, and we have an award winning and nominated again for same award Christian movie music composer/singer.

19

Q6: Do you have any special events, shows / gigs coming up? Benefit concert coming up June 29th, planning a Christian wrestling event, as a fundraiser and also our current crowd funding page has been an ongoing online event www.gofundme.com/ExtremeChristianEnt

Q7: Where do you see yourself in the next 5 or 10 years? We see our Christian movie making ministry growing and expanding into an amazing non-profit with a lot of movies released in theatres, dvd etc. and reaching many for Christ.

Q8: What would you like your legacy to be? To change the world and thoughts of negativity toward God, Christians, Jesus and more. To share Christ with the world. This legacy is very important to our calling from God. To Follow Jesus and lead others to do the same.

Q9: Do you have other interests? What services does your company offer? We would like to do outreaches like a water bottle outreach, Bible Studies, provide wedding videos, commercials, etc.

Q10: Any special words of encouragement or advice for our readers? People to weak to follow their own dreams will always find a way to discourage others. Find your passion, your dream God placed in your heart/life cause it is normally your calling he is giving you and use it to follow Christ. That's the great commission. Do this no matter what you want to do, but God has a plan for you. Try to follow it and you will be truly blessed. Yes, people will tell you it won't happen, you can't do it. Prove them wrong.

A Look at Eleutheros Books Founder, Author John Rataczak

John Rataczak was born in Columbia, Missouri and raised in the St. Louis area. He was saved at an early age through the ministry of the Chatham Bible Church of Wellston, Missouri (now located in Hazelwood, Missouri). His father was a chemical engineer and his mother was a housewife. Both were saved during John’s early childhood years. Certainly the truth of Acts 16:31 applies in this case: in a short time all the members of the family received Christ as Savior! Both Ed and Mary (his parents) are now with the Lord. God led John to become involved in full time Christian work during his freshman year at Bob Jones University. Since that calling, he has earned a B.A. in Bible, an M.A. in Pastoral Studies, and a Ph.D. in New Testament Text (Greek). His teaching experience includes teaching Greek, Hebrew, Theology, Apologetics, Church History, English Bible, and various Biblical Backgrounds courses in three Christian colleges and two graduate schools. In addition, he served as a soccer coach in two ministries. His pastoral experience includes ministries in Pennsylvania and Ohio. He has filled the pulpit of many Bible-believing churches in a number of states as well and plans to initiate a Bible Conference ministry as God supplies the opportunity. Presently he is the founder and sole proprietor of Eleutheros Books. He is the father of two sons and resides in Ohio. Of course his main interest is to study the Word and win the lost to Christ, but he also has interests in sports and current events. The term “Eleutheros” comes from a Greek adjective which means “free.” True freedom is found in Jesus Christ. It is indeed He Who died on the cross for our sins, rose from the grave to make the offer of eternal life legitimate, and is coming back to take His own to be with Him forever!

Cover Story

A LOOK AT RECORDING ARTIST Entrepreneur

Lisa Easton

As the youngest of six kids, and the daughter of a preacher, Lisa Easton found her love for music very early on. Having come from a musical family (where everyone sings and plays an instrument) it was inevitable that she would follow in the footsteps of her older siblings. As Lisa grew up, she realized God had given her something very special... a voice to sing. At the age of 4, Lisa began quietly exploring her voice, by listening to her older sisters' practice, while forming harmony parts in her head. By the age of 8, she knew there was something special about her ability to hear parts and sing on perfect pitch. In her late teens, Lisa began doing voice-overs, jingles and radio commercials. She was recognized as a major voice-over and singing talent. Lisa supported the promotion and advertisement of many reputable companies and events. As a result of having a fresh voice that stood out, Lisa was highly recommended in the industry. As Lisa continued pursuing a musical career; she had the incredible experience of meeting one of music's greatest singers, producers, and song writers, Wyclef-Jean. He described her voice as one of the greatest in the industry today and told Lisa that: "she had the voice of an angel". Lisa has been featured on various albums and is proud to have released her solo, debut album "Last Cry" in September of 2011. This album was written and inspired by Lisa's journey through life. She invites us into her experiences through the diverse melodies and lyrical intention. Not only does this album offer hope to women and girls (that experience various struggles), it covers musical styles that appeal to everyone. As God often does, he used some difficult times in Lisa's life to grab her attention. She began seeking out the heart of God and working through wounds of the past. Through much prayer to find healing and forgiveness for the things she experienced, Lisa felt called to ministry. She has specifically felt a greater call to lead people into the presence of God 27

through worship. She is now working with women to find forgiveness and healing in their lives. Lisa counsels hurting women. She also founded a non-profit organization in 2010 called Women Who Walk. This organization's primary purpose is to support and walk with women and children in need. For the past eight years, Lisa has been a worship leader at her church. She continues to receive invitations to lead worship at churches, conferences, and retreats. Lisa is now married and has four beautiful children of whom she is most proud. Lisa's voice speaks for itself, but there is something much greater. That something is the gift God has given her, to minister and lead people into his presence, through worship. Lisa often says I don't just want to be another voice. There is a special anointing on Lisa to capture the hearts of people (as she leans into God's promptings) through the Holy Spirit. Lisa is simply a vessel that allows God to move in all of his awesome power. Although there are many great voices, there is a calling that rests on Lisa Easton. Lives are radically changed when she sings and ministers. Lisa is a champion in worship leading. God has moved her into this season to renew hearts all over the world through worship. Lisa believes we should worship God as if he were standing right in front of us. This is the passion behind her worship. All of the events of Lisa's life have led her to desire (more than ever) God's presence. She will use her life to minister to people all over the world as God allows. The confirmations of her childhood dreams and anticipations have been numerous throughout her life. She is now walking a path strategically paved for her. Her journey has just begun.........

Ultimately, Dreams Made Real, Inc. will position itself to establish numerous non-profit organizations and foundations that focus on youth development and education. The Company was founded by CEO Marcus Davis in January 2010.

Let’s Meet Marcus: Q1: Hello. What is your name? How long have you been involved in the entertainment business? Hello and Thanks!!! My name is Marcus Davis aka CEO Marcus Davis from Dreams Made Real Inc. where we make "Entertainment That Inspires!" I started as an artist at age 17 in 1997. In 2007, I co-founded my first independent record company named "LoccedOut Entertainment" with Demarcus Keene aka LoccedOut. In 2010, after moving from my hometown of Louisville, KY to Atlanta, GA, I founded my current allpositive entertainment company Dreams Made Real.

Q2: When did you know that you wanted to be in this business and what was your motivation? I was taught at an early age that your career should be something that you are passionate about or love to do. Once I knew that I loved music, as a teen, I knew that I wanted to be in the business. I realized that many music companies did pretty good financially and believed that I eventually could too.

Q3: Who has helped you along the way and inspired you the most? Many people have helped me along the way including teachers, mentors, family, friends, and total strangers. YouthBuild Louisville and YouthBuild USA are also 2 organizations that have played a huge role in helping me develop into a better man and leader. I have been inspired the most by my life long mentor Nick King who founded King Foundation for Social Justice, a foundation that has sent over 100 kids, including myself, to college. I am also inspired by my biggest mentor from the music industry, Howard Gilbert. He is the owner of West Funk Records and West Funk Studios. His studio was my primary recording studio for years, and he was the first person that I knew that ran a record label and studio. He took me under his wing and taught me most of my first lessons about running a company, managing talent, and running a recording studio.

Q4: What are some of the highlights of your career so far? Some highlights include: 1. Founding my company- Dreams Made Real Inc.(D.M.R) is the United States' first and only full service entertainment company that produces books, film, and all genres of music with all positive content. Publishing and releasing my first book- "Inside the Mind of a Gemini" by: CEO Marcus Davis 3. Having the opportunity to speak for and/or represent YouthBuild Louisville and YouthBuild USA at events all over the country. 4. Being asked to speak to groups of children at different events

Q5: Have you received any special awards or achievements? 30

Q8: What would you like your legacy to be? I would ultimately like my legacy to be one of helping people and trying to make the world a better place for all.
