Director’s Note To our 5th grade: “Laughter is timeless Imagination has no age Dreams are forever” Tinker Bell I think Tinker Bell had this year’s 5th grade in mind when she said this. You are a class of dreamers; a group of children on the verge of growing up, but, at the same time, so eager to escape into a theatrical world of play and fantasy. Every class we spend together, you remind me how important it is to play and create. You help me to stay young at heart (though some times, you also give me some minor heart attacks!). Thank you for your never ending commitment to drama, in every sense of the word! To all of our students - In the words of Peter Pan: “The moment you doubt whether you can fly, you cease forever to be able to do it.” If you take anything away from this experience, remember those words. Many of you doubted we could do this show. But, I believed. Just believe. Because, as Peter said, “all you need is faith, trust and a little bit of fairy dust!” Love you guys! Marci

Penso che Trilli avesse in mente la classe 5^ di quest’anno quando ha pronunciato questa frase. Siete una classe di sognatori; un gruppo di bambini in procinto di crescere ma, allo stesso tempo, così desiderosi di rifugiarvi in un mondo teatrale di gioco e fantasia. Ogni volta che facciamo lezione siete voi a ricordarmi quanto sia importante giocare e creare. Mi aiutate a mantenere un cuore giovane (anche se a volte mi avete anche procurato qualche piccolo attacco di cuore!). Grazie per il vostro impegno senza fine in drama, nel senso più completo della parola! Per tutti i nostri studenti - Nelle parole di Peter Pan: " Nel momento stesso in cui dubitate di poter volare, cessate anche di essere in grado di farlo." Se vorrete conservare qualcosa di buono da questa esperienza, ricordate queste parole. Molti di voi dubitavano che saremmo riusciti a realizzare questo spettacolo. Ma io ci ho creduto. Basta crederci. Perché come ha detto Peter: " tutto ciò che serve è la convinzione, la fiducia e un pizzico di polvere di fata! " Vi voglio bene ragazzi! Marci
Ringraziamenti Ancora una volta sono grata al Teatro Fraschini che ci ospita, offrendo l’opportunità ai nostri bambini di portare in scena una storia incantevole, che parla di crescita e di assunzione di responsabilità. Una storia appassionante per i piccoli, commuovente e nostalgica per gli adulti. Crescere può essere un’avventura difficile, ma tutti abbiamo le capacità o possiamo acquisire gli strumenti per vivere questa avventura in modo entusiasmante e soddisfacente. Tutti abbiamo l’opportunità di rispettare il tempo dell’infanzia e di conservarlo come prezioso tesoro, necessario riferimento per vivere l’età adulta in modo dignitoso. Peter Pan è senza dubbio l'incarnazione dell'infanzia, del bambino che siamo stati e che ancora vive in noi, portato all'eccesso, all'estremo, all'esasperazione. Egli parla il linguaggio dei più piccoli, da loro si fa ammirare e seguire come un leader carismatico, pronto a condurli in luoghi selvaggi e avventurosi, ad affrontare nemici spaventosi e spietati, in luoghi di sconfinata bellezza in cui regnano leggende, sogni ed immaginazione, fantasia e desiderio. Marci ha saputo anche quest’anno accompagnare tutti noi in un percorso emozionante, ha saputo riconoscere nei nostri bambini la necessità di lavorare su una storia come questa, è stata in grado di coinvolgere e contagiare tutti i colleghi e la sottoscritta con la tenacia e l’energia che caratterizzano il suo lavoro da sempre. La mia gratitudine va quindi ai bambini che ogni giorno mi ricordano quanto sia importante rispettarli per ciò che sono e per l’età che stanno vivendo, a tutte le persone meravigliose con le quali anche quest’anno ho avuto il piacere di lavorare e a tutte le famiglie che consentono alla nostra scuola di continuare a navigare nonostante i tempi decisamente burrascosi. Rimane importante continuare a guidare la nave impegnandoci a remare tutti nella stessa direzione, accompagnando i nostri bambini con la capacità di stare alla giusta distanza dal loro percorso di vita, testimoniando empatìa e rispetto.
