ost pool contractors will have experienced the issues and maintenance problems related to concrete swimming pool
construction. As a material, concrete will provide great foundations and structural support for pool floors and walls, but it’s simply not watertight, durable or low maintenance. With these drawbacks in mind, the search began for a tougher, more robust and permanent solution for pool construction and stainless steel was identified as the ideal material. The unique characteristics of stainless steel that make it so ideal include its strength, durability and corrosion resistance. As pool designers and contractors started to incorporate stainless steel in their projects, they realised that an age-old design and construction problem could finally be addressed. Components are produced to proven designs in a manufacturing facility where quality control can be strictly monitored. The components are then assembled into large fully functional sections, then shipped to the construction site as complete units. This process means that accurate costs are known prior to construction and construction surprises are virtually eliminated.
