PRZYRODA Nature Dolina Nidy stanowi część Niecki Miechowskiej, będącej rozległym obniżeniem pomiędzy Wyżyną Krakowsko-Częstochowską a Wyżyną Kielecką. Najbardziej charakterystyczne elementy rzeźby terenu to sama dolina Nidy oraz Garb Pińczowski, system podłużnych wzgórz biegnących pomiędzy Pińczowem a Buskiem. Obie formy mają przebieg zgodny z kierunkiem Północny Zachód – Południowy Wschód, naśladując w ten sposób podstawowy układ budowy geologicznej tego regionu.

The Nida Valley belongs to Niecka Miechowska, which is a vast depression between Kraków-Częstochowa Upland and Kielce Upland. The Nida valley and Garb Pińczowski (a chain of long hills between Pińczów and Busko) are the most distinctive features of the lie of the land.
