Sanatorium "Jasna"
Wycieczka zaczyna się w centrum Solca-Zdroju, przy skrzyżowaniu ulicy 1 Maja z ulicą Kościuszki, przed budynkiem sanatorium „Jasna”, wzniesionym w 1910 roku. W czasie kiedy uzdrowiskiem zarządzała rodzina Daniewskich, mieścił się tu elegancki pensjonat dla kuracjuszy, po wojnie dobudowano II piętro, jednak o pierwotnym wyglądzie przypominają wciąż zachowane detale architektoniczne, jak kształt okien, balkony i dekoracje na elewacji.
The trip starts in Solec-Zdrój centre, at the 1 Maja / Kościuszko uintersection, in front of the sanatorium „Jasna”, built in 1910. At the time when the health resort was managed by the Daniewski family, an elegant boarding house for the patients was located in the villa. The second floor was added after the World War II, but the architectural details still remind of the original look: the shape of the windows, the balconies and facade decorations.
Po przeciwnej stronie skrzyżowania, częściowo skryty w zieleni krzewów i drzew, stoi budynek sanatorium „Świt”, którego ozdobą jest wysoka stylowa baszta. Kiedyś mieściła się tu sala teatralna i balowa, restauracja z dansingiem, a także czytelnia, bilard i pokoje dla kuracjuszy. Obecnie powiększono ilość pokoi hotelowych dla kuracjuszy, są gabinety lekarskie, jest także sala na spotkania ogólne kuracjuszy i wieczorki taneczne.
Opposite the intersection, the sanatorium „Świt” sits among trees and shrubs. Thanks to the high tower the building stands out. In the sanatorium, there used to be an auditorium, a ballroom, a restaurant with a disco as well as a reading room, pool and rooms for the residents. Today, the number of the guest rooms has increased and there are doctors’ surgeries and a meeting room – also for evening parties.
