Barack Obama calls Stephen Harper to express support WASHINGTON — Following Wednesday’s shooting in Ottawa that claimed the life of a Canadian soldier, U.S. President Barack Obama phoned Prime Minister Stephen Harper and pledged that the U.S. is “going to do everything we can to make sure we are standing side by side with Canada during this difficult time.” Obama told reporters at the White House that he gave his condolences to the families of the soldier killed earlier this week and of the soldier killed Wednesday while guarding the National War Memorial as well as to the Canadian people. “We don’t yet have all the information about what motivated the shooting,” he said. “We don’t yet have all the information about whether this was part of a broader network or plan or whether this was an individual or series of individuals who decided to take these actions. Canadian Parliament under Terrorist Attack: 2 dead and gunfire inside Parliament By Andrew Duffy of Ottawa Citizen Soldier, gunman who died in Ottawa rampage identified as Cpl. Nathan Cirillo. Suspect, reportedly Canadianborn Michael Zehaf-Bibeau, killed in Centre Block shootout. Three victims treated Ottawa Hospital Civic campus

A terrorist struck at the heart of the nation Wednesday, gunning down a sentry at the National War Memorial and wreaking havoc on Parliament Hill where the marble and stone halls echoed with gunfire and ran with blood. The gunman was shot and killed near the Library of Parliament, reportedly by House of Commons Sergeant-at-Arms Kevin Vickers, a former RCMP officer, and the man responsible for security on the Hill. It appears the gunman walked right past the Centre Block’s Reading Room, where Prime Minister Stephen Harper was meeting with his caucus Wednesday morning. Citing U.S. intelligence sources, CBS identified the attacker as Canadian-born Michael Zehaf-Bibeau, 32. That had not been independently confirmed. The fatal showdown in Centre Block followed the cold-blooded slaying of Cpl. Nathan Cirillo standing guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, a short distance away from Parliament Hill. That soldier, a reservist with the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders of Canada, based in Hamilton, was shot at close range in front of the war memorial at 9:52 a.m. He was rushed to the Ottawa Hospital’s Civic Campus, but did not survive his injuries. It was unclear whether the gunman was acting alone or was joined in his attack by others, but after the attack, the gunman fled toward Parliament Hill, according to witness accounts. Parliament Hill and large swaths of downtown Ottawa went into lockdown as Ottawa police, the RCMP and special forces pursued confusing and unconfirmed reports of gunshots near the Rideau Centre and the Chateau Laurier. At one point, officials believed at least three gunmen could be involved. It was still unclear by late afternoon Wednesday just how many people took part in the attack, but police said there had been no shooting near the downtown mall after all. City Hall, the Ottawa courthouse, Lisgar Collegiate and the University of Ottawa were among the many institutions that went into emergency lockdown. The NHL postponed an Ottawa Senators game scheduled for

Wednesday night, and the National Arts Centre cancelled two performances. Inside Parliament Hill, a gunman — likely the same one who shot the National War Memorial sentry — stormed into Centre Block where the NDP and Conservative caucuses had convened for 9:15 a.m. meetings. The Liberal caucus was meeting in the basement. Prime Minister Stephen Harper was with his party’s caucus when the gunman entered the second floor of Centre Block, but was escorted to safety by his RCMP security team. Across the hall, in the NDP caucus room, about 100 MPs and aides piled tables and chairs in front of the doors after they heard gunshots crash through Centre Block just after 10 a.m. “A series of gunshots rang out and we realized they were right on the other side of the door, NDP MP Charlie Angus told the Citizen. Parliament Hill security officers rushed politicians out of the building, Liberal MP Marc Garneau among them. “You could smell the gunpowder, he said. Security officers pursued the gunman in the Hall of Honour, near the Library of Parliament, and exchanged a hail of gunfire. One guard was wounded in the confrontation that killed the terrorist. It’s believed Vickers fired the shots that killed him. “I am safe and profoundly grateful to Sergeant-at-Arms Kevin Vickers and our security forces for selfless act of keeping us safe, Veterans Affairs Minister Julian Fantino said on Twitter. Justice Minister Peter MacKay offered similar praise: “Thank God for Sergeant-at-Arms Kevin Vickers and our Canadian security forces. The injured guard was taken to The

Ottawa Hospital with a non-life threatening leg injury. The Ottawa Hospital also treated two other people injured in the incident. The attack was the most serious security breach of Parliament Hill since 1966, when an unhinged man, Paul Chartier, tried to blow up 10 sticks of dynamite on the floor of the House of Commons. He killed only himself when the explosives detonated before he could throw them. Wednesday’s shooting at the National War Memorial represents the second time this week that a Canadian soldier has come under attack on national soil. On Monday, 25-year-old Martin Rouleau, of Saint-Jean-sur-Richeleau, southeast of Montreal, used his car to assault two Canadian soldiers, one of whom later died of his wounds. Rouleau was a convert to Islam whose online postings had become so radical that the RCMP confiscated his passport. The attacks could be a reaction from homegrown extremists to the federal government’s decision to join the

international coalition battling the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) in the Middle East. Parliament approved a motion to launch a combat mission against ISIL earlier this month. “Canada will not be terrorized or intimidated, senior Conservative cabinet minister Jason Kenney declared in a Twitter message. Wednesday’s attack began on the ground of the National War Memorial, dedicated to all of those who have fought and died for this country. Witnesses said the long-haired gunman, dressed in a dark hoodie, blue jeans and wrapped in a scarf, opened fire on one of the two guards at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. The gunman used a long rifle of some kind, possibly a shotgun.

Thousands of temporary foreign workers lose chance to stay in Alberta BY SHEILA EDMONTON JOURNAL

PRATT,

EDMONTON - Thousands of temporary foreign workers hoping to stay permanently under Alberta’s special nominee program lost their chance this fall. The province announced last month wait times of more than two years in some categories to process applications for the 5,500 spots — and by that time any two-year work permits will have expired, making those workers’ applications invalid. “People are shocked because many were told about the provincial nominee program when they were deciding whether to come to Alberta,” said Marco Luciano of Migrante, a TFW advocacy group. “Thousands have already lost their chance, and (other) people are in a very precarious situation because of the delay in processing applications.” Jobs Minister Ric McIver acknowledged the “tremendous interest” in the nominee program, where employers put forward workers for permanent residency. More than 10,000 applications are in the queue. “We’re advocating for more spaces because we need them,” McIver said Monday, adding he’d like the federal government to double Alberta’s yearly quota under the program. “We’ve got temporary workers filling permanent jobs.” McIver noted there is “time

sensitivity” to the issue because by next spring, thousands of TFWs who arrived in 2011 will be scheduled to return home when their four-year contracts expire. McIver said he will be discussing with federal Employment Minister Jason Kenney “a number of different scenarios” to meet the spring crunch, with the goal of turning many more TFWs into permanent Alberta residents. “Why not? Like good Canadians, these people are working hard, paying taxes, contributing to society and staying out of trouble,” McIver said. “That’s going to require some cooperation” on the part of both levels of government, he added. The spike in applications for the nominee program started in 2013, said Oghio Ikhalo, a spokesperson in Alberta’s Jobs, Skills, Training and Labour Department. For workers who arrive after Sept. 1, 2014, the wait time to hear if an application is approved is 25 months in the skilled and semi-skilled categories, the latter including the food industry. The wait is 18 months in manufacturing, 15 months in trucking and 14 months for postgraduate workers, many of whom are on 12-month work permits. The department also announced it will no longer consider applications on a first-come, first-served basis, said Ikhalo. Instead, the department wants to spread the applicants “fairly” across all sectors of the economy, he said.

radical Islamist organizations” such as the Islamic State, or ISIL. Jason Tamming, a spokesman for Public Safety Minister Steven Blaney, says it means intelligence has indicated an individual or group within Canada or abroad has the intent and capability to commit an act of terrorism. But he adds it’s not the result of a specific threat. The news comes as it RCMP revealed a man who drove a car into two soldiers had been arrested by the Mounties this summer. The federal government has linked the incident to terrorist ideology. The Mounties’ say the investigation into Martin RouleauCouture began last June when they saw on his Facebook account he was “radicalizing” himself. But an RCMP spokeswoman says police could not arrest someone for having radical thoughts. She says there was no indication Rouleau-Couture was going to do something like this.

On the occasion, Badal appealed to the people of Punjab to celebrate Diwali by making a pledge of upholding peace, amity, brotherhood and communal harmony in the state. In a later interaction with the media, Badal also expressed hope that the Union Government would soon start the work on making the city into a ‘Smart City’. (ANI)

Liberal Party of Canada statement on shootings in Ottawa “The sympathies and prayers of the Leader of the Liberal Party of Canada, Justin Trudeau, and the Liberal Caucus are with the families of those who have been victimized by these heinous acts of violence in our National Capital. “All Canadians are particularly shocked and saddened by the horrific shooting of a young man, as he dutifully guarded our National War Memorial. “Violence directed at Canada's democratic institutions is particularly abhorrent. We want to thank the courageous men and women of the many security forces who risked their lives to keep Canadians safe today. “Canadians are a resilient people who treasure our freedom. Piers Morgan Slams Monica Lewinsky: You're Not Blameless US Weekly Monica Lewinsky returned to the public eye on Monday, Oct. 20, but her appearance was not without controversy. The famed former White House intern, 41, participated in Forbes' Under 30 Summit and spoke to the public for the first time in 13 years, drawing criticism from the likes of television star Piers Morgan. During the gig, Lewinsky opened up about her fall from grace and her experience with public shaming. "I was Patient Zero," she said in her speech.

"The first person to have their reputation completely destroyed worldwide via the Internet." Her words elicited a strong response from fans and critics alike, with some applauding her outspoken stance, and others, including polarizing personality Morgan, taking issue with her view of the past. While he did agree that Internet bullying is a rampant issue, saying Lewinsky was "100 percent right" on that front, Morgan did not absolve the former mistress of former President Bill Clinton of all blame.

Woman accused of concealing 6 dead babies defrauded senior CBC News The woman charged with concealing six infants was just in court last month being sentenced on fraud charges. Andrea Giesbrecht, 40, has been charged with six counts of concealing bodies of infants and breaching probation after the bodies were found in a U-Haul storage locker on Monday afternoon. A court decision from December 2013, shows Giesbrecht wrote fraudulent cheques to a Winnipeg woman, who was a friend of her parents, to pay back money she lent her. Court documents show that amount at $7,850. At a sentencing hearing on Sept. 30, court heard Giesbrecht has a gambling problem and marriage problems. She also has little money to pay the woman back as she works at Tim Hortons and has two young boys. In the hearing, it was revealed that Giesbrecht moved into her parents' home after they passed away and that's how she got to know the woman who lent her the money. Giesbrecht told the woman, who was 73 at the time, she needed money to pay bills and the house was going to be re-possessed. Giesbrecht promised to pay the woman back as she was getting $25,000 to $30,000 from her father's life insurance. Court heard the woman gave Giesbrecht money four different times. At one point, the woman was supposed to meet Giesbrecht at a bank to

get the money paid back, but discovered Giesbrecht didn't bank there and hadn't for at least two years. Defrauded woman felt sorry for Giesbrecht The woman also said she felt sorry for Giesbrecht because she was having problems with her marriage. Court heard when the woman was asked by police if she thought she would ever get her money back, she said she didn't expect to. "No. I felt sorry for her. She has no father or mother as they passed away and she said she was having problems in her marriage and said she has two young boys so I really thought she needed the money. My husband warned me not to because she always came by when she knew he wasn't there," she said. Court heard the woman also felt "taken advantage of."The Crown said in a pre-sentence report that Giesbrecht had a gambling addiction and the report showed she is a "low risk to re-offend."

Guest Editorial RCMP must clean up its image if it wants to recruit more women The RCMP hopes to start enrolling as many female cadets as males starting next year. Only about 21 per cent of the sworn officers in Canada’s national police force are female today, so the initiative perhaps seems overdue at first blush. The RCMP — which expects to accept almost 1,000 recruits next year — says it will use targeted advertising campaigns, womenonly career presentations, special assistance in preparing for the RCMP fitness test and an accelerated application process, all aimed at shoring up its representation of women. This is all very noble, but there’s more than a whiff of tokenism about what the RCMP is doing. The RCMP should be attempting to attract and engage the very best police officers, without undue regard for characteristics such as gender. The force

City By-Laws Discriminate Against Truckers Dear Editor, In Surrey, there are hundreds of self-employed truckers from various ethnic backgrounds. It appears that City by-law officers are targeting truckers when it comes to parking their trucks. We understand they’re not allowed to park in the neighbourhoods since when they start their trucks at 5am for work, the loud noise bothers the neighbours. This is why many truckers purchase farm land, 5 acres or more, so they can park their trucks there. However, it seems now the by-laws state that they can only park one truck in their farm land and any other trucks will be towed. The township of Langley allows truckers to park 3 trucks per 5 acres of property, why can’t we follow suit and implement this solution. This will make these hardworking, honest, tax paying

workers’ lives easier. I encourage all the teams running for municipal election to look into this and resolve this matter or at least let us know where they stand on this issue. Sincerely, Charan Gill

will be doing no one any favours — itself included — if it chooses to hire less capable female cadets over better suited males. The RCMP may just have to accept the fact that females are less likely to be drawn to policing than males, at least as currently presented. workplace. There’s evidence that in the past, bothersome superiors were simply transferred to other detachments rather than being held to account for alleged misbehaviour. The women’s much-publicized grievances, and the RCMP’s reputation as being a haven for boorish males, is enough to steer many ambitious young women away from the force. No amount of special attention, whether it’s female-only career sessions or help preparing for the fitness test, is likely to successfully paper over such blemishes.

We rarely advocate in favour of seeking solace in the laps of unions, but perhaps that’s what’s needed to clean this spot on the RCMP’s reputation. Rank and file RCMP members have little protection when they bring forward complaints about superiors’ conduct, leaving them at the whim of those above them — or, as the women’s class action lawsuit application proves, forced to participate in slow-moving legal remedies in hopes of securing redress. It’s often said that the Mounties always get their man. When it comes to transforming itself into being the preferred employer for more talented young women, the RCMP needs to take a look in the mirror. Guest Editorial from The Calgary Herald

India trade mission promotes partnerships, investment, jobs for B.C. VANCOUVER - There are plenty of opportunities for B.C. companies in India. That was the message delegates received loud and clear as Premier Christy Clark wrapped up her latest trade mission to one of the world’s fastest-growing economies. While there, the Premier announced the appointment of Arjun Sablok as Special Envoy for Film to India to help promote British Columbia to one of the largest filmproducing countries in the world. Arjun, a Canadian who has lived in Mumbai for the past 25 years, takes on the unpaid role as an ambassador for the B.C. film industry. The Premier and Minister of Advanced Education Amrik

Virk led a delegation of over 70 companies, First Nations representatives and postsecondary institutions to meet one-on-one with key Indian investors and government officials. They participated in the signing of co-operation

agreements and attended highlevel meetings with multiple levels of governments. “India is an increasingly important trade and investment partner for our province,” said Clark. “Meeting face-to-face with decision-makers

The objective was to partner with the community to discuss ways of combating and preventing radicalization. Jinny Sims said “We believe that greater emphasis must be placed on ensuring youth have positive support and options in the

community, and want to hear ideas on how to move forward. We know that we have to enhance co-operation across communities in order to stem the tide of radicalization. Whatever our differences, the safety and security of every Canadian is paramount”.

strengthens our relationships which are key to making inroads into export markets - in India and around the world. Trade missions help us provide B.C. companies with the opportunities and tools they need to grow their businesses, both here and in the international market.” “We share close economic, cultural and social ties with India. Not surprising as more than 5% of our population have South Asian heritage,” said Virk. “This trade mission provided an opportunity to promote British Columbia as a high-quality education destination, and to raise awareness of the potential for educational partnerships, student exchanges and joint research initiatives with India.” The B.C. and Punjab governments announced they will work together in the areas of advanced education, skills certification, agriculture and cultural exchange programs to boost economic and cultural ties between the two jurisdictions. They will develop a teacher and student exchange program between UBC and Punjab universities, with a focus on pharmacology, generic medicines and bio-energy. Richmond-based SignalChem opened up a research and development facility in Bangalore that will mean more jobs at its B.C. operation. The expansion allows the company, which specializes in cancer, inflammation and central nervous system disorders, to convert its oncology drug discoveries into use. The Premier announced

funding for 20 scholarships, worth a total of $50,000, to support and encourage the twoway exchange of students between the University of the Fraser Valley (UFV) and Sanatan Dharma (SD) College in Chandigarh, India. B.C. film and entertainment companies North Shore Studios and Vancouver Film Studios signed MOUs with India-based film and entertainment giant Ramoji Film City. Both parties agreed to promote each other in India and British Columbia, and support each other for the purpose of shooting and productions. Uber Diagnostics, an India-based medical device company announced it will open an office in Surrey. The company also signed a memorandum of understanding with Surrey’s Innovation Boulevard. The two organizations share a common interest in the investigation and delivery of affordable healthcare diagnostics. Clark announced that a school in India and a school in Japan are the two latest international schools approved to offer the B.C. curriculum. At the BC Film & Digital Roundtable in Mumbai, Clark congratulated international film special effects giant Double Negative for its decision to open a new state-of-the-art facility in Vancouver, gaining the city even more recognition as a digital hub and paving the way for more well-paying jobs for British Columbians.

(NC) What do a home-based crafter, a car mechanic, and a food truck owner have in common? Each one represents an important economic segment in Canada called micro-businesses, or companies with one to five employees. Today, that sector makes up more than 55 % of small businesses in the country and has grown by 40 % in the last decade. With fewer resources and little manpower, microbusinesses are heavily reliant on mobile technology to reach customers, engage new prospects, and operate their businesses, according to a research report released recently from Rogers, conducted by Environics. The study revealed that microbusinesses depend on mobile technology to manage their operations at all times, to stay connected to clients, partners and employees, and to alleviate stress from their workday. The majority of respondents (70%) reported that they would have challenges operating or even starting their business without access to wireless technology. Over half (67%) stay connected to their business anywhere, anytime with laptops, tablets or smartphones. “What we're seeing is that technology can help level the playing field for micro-businesses, and with mobile devices plus solutions like ecommerce websites and applications, these companies can start-up and scale overnight,” says Tracy Markwood, the vice president of business marketing at Rogers. “There is a big opportunity for both micro and small businesses across the country to embrace new tools and realize the time savings and financial benefits of doing more with less.” Additional survey results indicate that while mobile technology is seen as critical to business success, many microbusinesses are not using a number of the tools and solutions available to them. Key findings included:

More than half (52%), agree that using mobile technology alleviates stress from the work week. Only 20% of micro-businesses use cloud-based software and applications like Drop Box or Office 365 to share files and documents. Only 4% of microbusinesses are using mobile point-ofsale applications to process payments. Only 22% are using an online store or website as primary means to sell products or services. Nearly half (48%) say that marketing and sales top the list of services that they need most. Only 16% of respondents use social media as the primary means to promote their business. More than half (56%), use web based applications to support their operations. As many as 74% of owners report micro businesses to be a sole source of income. This October, micro, small, and medium businesses across Canada will have the opportunity to learn how the right technology enables growth and a competitive advantage. Rogers Talks, the second annual national events series, will kick-off Small Business Month with experts in social media, marketing and sales to share knowledge and applicable best practices with attendees. Events will take place in Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal, Calgary and Vancouver from October 28th to November 12th and are open to any small business owner or employee. Try these tips, tricks and secrets for a perfect party

(NC) Do you want to throw the party of the season? Tom Filippou, executive chef for the President's Choice brand, is offering his top tips to ensure your holiday party is a major success: Party Size If you're hosting a dinner party for a group of six or more, a buffet-style menu is the easiest way to go. Sit-down dinners should be reserved for smaller parties of three to six guests.

Courses A dinner party menu can have three to six courses, depending on how much work you are prepared to do. A threecourse menu consists of an

appetizer, main course and dessert. A four-course menu typically has an appetizer, pasta course or fish course, meat

course and dessert. A fivecourse menu has an appetizer, pasta course, fish course, meat course and dessert.

Party Menu To really impress your guests, try to serve food that you wouldn't normally have at a holiday party. An easy and delicious appetizer, for example, is the new, PC Cheeseburger Spring Rolls. This twist on a tried-and-true party classic include succulent beef, cheese, pickles, ketchup and mustard all in crispy wrappers. Make sure to also have cocktail drinks ready to go before your guests get there. You can make these beforehand so that they are ready to serve as soon as your party begins. Guest Contentment Setting up a cocktail bar

and hors d'oeuvres table is an ideal way to keep your guests busy while you finish preparing dinner. Have bottles of open wine on the table as well – white wine should be kept chilled in an ice bucket.

Décor For larger buffet-style dinner parties, set up one station where you personally serve your guests one of the dishes to give the party a more intimate feel. It also gives you the opportunity to answer questions about the dishes on the table. Arrange place cards in front of each platter of food with the name of the dish. More holiday entertaining tips can be found online at pc.ca.

Update your financial plan as your family evolves (NC) The “typical” family in Canada may be evolving, but one thing remains the same: Every family needs a financial plan to help manage its money and achieve its goals. But establishing a plan is just the first step. Reviewing it regularly is essential, especially if it needs to be adjusted to take changes within the family into account. “Today's families are more complex and diverse than ever before, as the traditional idea of two parents and their children living together under the same roof has increasingly given way to single-parent or blended families, same-sex couples and multiple generations sharing a home,” says Lee Bennett, the senior vice president at TD Wealth Financial Planning. “Each family situation is unique, which is why there's no one-size-fits-all financial plan to meet its needs.” Bennett says it's important that, whatever financial plan a family develops, they keep it upto-date so that important life events such as the birth of children, buying a home, changing a job, or starting a business are accounted for. Bennett notes that those people entering a new relationship or blending their families, who may already have a financial plan, should ensure their plans are aligned with each other to reflect the new family arrangement. “A financial planner can help families develop a plan that will suit their unique circumstances and continue to help them achieve their financial goals,” says Bennett. “A financial planner can also help them plan for some of life's events that are likely to happen in the years to come, such as post-secondary education and retirement.”

Finally, Salman fulfills his commitment with Modi! Ranbir - Katrina's love life

By Ankur Karan Singh Well when it's about contributing to society then certainly our Bollywooders are no less than any pro-social creature surviving under this planet. And when it's Salman leading from the front, then no one under this sky can gauge the extent of benevolence which this most magnanimous star of Bollywood can bestow. In one such instance now Salman has accepted the invite of Indian PM Narendra Modi and has rolled up his sleeves to be the part of latter's "Clean Indian Campaign (Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan)". An in order to prove is adherence to the initiative Salman took up a clean-up drive in Karjat and shared pictures of himself along with his team sweeping and cleaning up the streets of the locality. While sharing his pics on twitter Salman thanked NaMo for including him in Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan and tweeted,"I once again thank @narendramodi for taking up the Swachh Bharat initiative and nominating me." But Salman didn't stop here only and in order to ensure the continuity of this chain adopted his Jai Ho antic and further nominated 9 more celebs including Aamir Khan, Azim Premji, Rajinikanth etc whom he wished to accept the partnership in this noble initiative.

Admiring this initiative of Salman even Narendra Modi bestowed accolades on Salman on the social media. Also... Well it's not that Modi and Salman are complementing each other on somewhat professional fronts only, another buss pertaining to the brewing camaraderie between the two suggests that an invitation has been sent across to Narendra Modi to attend the wedding of

Salman's sister Arpita which is scheduled to take place on May 2015. And if all goes well then it is expected that Modi will definitely attend this familial function of his superstar admirer whom he is keeping along with him ever-since the day he started campaigning for LS elections in the past. Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif have been rumoured to be in a relationship since a long time now. And after being s p o t t e d holidaying in Ibiza, are seen together once again at a foreign location. According to a report on Business of Cinema, Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif were snapped at the Thailand airport. However the duo are there to shoot their upcoming film Jagga Jasoos. Speculations have been rife about their alleged affair, with the couple making appearances together all the time. However neither Ranbir nor Katrina have ever spoken a word about their relationship status. The couple have been enjoying each other's company, away from the prying eyes of the Indian paparazzi. And their appearances seem to give a hint that there may be an announcement coming from the couple about their relationship status.

Undoubtedly Bigg Boss house is one such place under this planet where love

equation between the couples or rather gorgeous belles and handsome hunks

change with every passing week. And the ongoing season of the show is no exception to this rule where after sharing some warm vibes with Casanova Upen now sexy siren Sonali seems to be getting close to Gautam Gulati. Yes you heard it right! Believe it or not but these days Sonali, who had been into limelight because of her tiff with Diandra in the recent past, is badly detested with Upen because of the reasons best know to her. And if reports are to be believed then now her love fascination is fixated to controversial lad Gautam Gulati. And what made us think so is her late night beer and skittles with Gautam and Praneet where she openly expressed her views about Gautam and stated that, "she find Gautam not reacting much to anything and that she doesn't know what is on Gautam's mind", while saying this she even hinted that she has a soft corner for Gautam. In-fact during the conversation Sonali stood up and walked away telling Gautam that she is waiting for him to which Gautam replied in affirmation and asked Sonali to wait for him as he will be joining her in a moment.
