House fire leads to homicide investigation near Chilliwack By Rafferty Baker, CBC News Homicide investigators are investigating after a Chilliwack home went up in flames following an explosion during a police standoff on Thursday afternoon. After the fire neighbour Linda Anderson said police told her they were investigating two suspicious deaths in the home, but that information has not been confirmed by police. The incident began on Llanberis Way, east of Chilliwack, B.C., around 4:30 a.m. PT when a large number of police were called to the dead-end street. A member of the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team leaves the taped off section of Llanberis Way, Thursday night. (Rafferty Baker/CBC) Anderson said the incident began when heavily armed police arrived and began yelling at a man in the house to come out. She said the incident then suddenly escalated. "There were five shots, then the two explosions," said Anderson. "Smoke bombs going off — that's what started the fire in the living room."

"There were two small bombs, one upstairs window, one through the living room window, and then it was just a matter of minutes before the whole thing went up," said Anderson. Police then evacuated the neighbourhood. Marilyn Maljaars lives across the street from the house. "The whole street, everybody

around the house was evacuated, and the ones that weren't home, we weren't allowed in," said Meljaars. "It was unbelievable how many cop cars, and an armoured tank came in," she said. "We were shocked, it's an awesome neighbourhood, and really great neighbours." Officials haven't yet explained exactly what took place in the fire-

New royal princess Charlotte’s bonnet was gifted by nanny pink or blue, and purchased white or beige garments.

London, May 8 (ANI): The off-white bonnet Princess Charlotte donned when she was introduced to the world, was a present from her nanny, bought in Spain. The mother of the Duchess of Cambridge’s live-in Spanish nanny Maria Teresa Turrion Borrello, had bought the clothing from a shop in the northern Spanish city of San Sebastian, it has emerged, the Mirror reported. Susana Villar, Owner of the 82-yearold city centre clothes shop, Irulea, said that they were clueless that bonnet was intended for the new Princess and were “delighted” with the revelation. She added though the bonnet was bought with matching little coat and shoes, since the baby was under a blanket they weren’t sure if she was wearing those too. Villar said they had received call from the unnamed woman five or six times a few months ago who enquired about clothes for a new-born baby, before she actually came down to buy the outfit.

The shop’s owners took to Facebook to boast their royal connections and wrote, “ You all know the new royal baby, a princess called Charlotte Elizabeth Diana. What you don’t know is that for her debut in society her parents chose an off-white little outfit made by hand by Irulea. From San Sebastian direct to the Royal Court.” On their Facebook page, they added: “Dress the princes and princesses of your house in Irulea….just like the Royal Households do.” (ANI)

Flickr unveils apps update, search service for desktop and mobile Washington, (ANI): Yahoo owned Flickr has rolled out an updated version of its website, software applications for desktop and mobile, as well as its search service. According to the TechCrunch, the updates are focused on making every aspect of the service easier to use and more efficient, including uploads, edits, organization, search and sharing. Some of the more notable changes include the addition of auto-tagging and image

recognition capabilities, the latter of which will now see Flickr competing more directly with Google’s photo service, Google+ Photos. It is biggest update since the company’s decision to increase user’s free storage space on its photo-sharing site to 1 TB back in 2013. The company claims to have 100 million members on its service. Flickr has released new desktop software applications for both Mac and

The new photos are immediately displayed in Flickr’s new Camera Roll view on its website and apps when they are uploading, which now serves as the site’s new interface for interacting with photos. The photos gets automatically synced across all devices, de-duped, and marked as private until the user specify otherwise. Aditya Kashyap, Product Lead says the idea of Flickr’s updated interface is to give users an improved toolset that allows them to more easily organize and edit photos and it offers a number of different viewing options for filtering and sorting photos, organizing them before sharing them publicly. Camera Roll lets users view their photos by either the date uploaded or the date taken and then group photos into separate sections based on their timestamps. Users can now download multiple photos as .zip file. Users can also share a batch of photos via email, Instagram, Facebook and more, as well as add identifying tags.

Salman Khan: Bollywood star jailed for five years in hit-and-run case

An Indian court has sentenced Bollywood star Salman Khan to five years in jail for killing a homeless man in a 2002 hit-and-run driving incident in Mumbai. The man was among five people who were run over in the incident. The actor was charged with culpable homicide. Khan had said his driver was behind the wheel, but the judge said the actor was driving the car and was under the influence of alcohol at the time. Legal experts expect the actor to appeal against the verdict. Khan's lawyers have already applied for bail in the Bombay high court which is expected to hear the case shortly, reports say. The actor remains in the trial court while his fate is being decided. Correspondents say the guilty verdict is a huge setback for Khan although he could have been jailed for 10 years. The actor is one of Bollywood's biggest stars, appearing in more than 80 Hindi-language films. Several of his films, including Dabangg, Ready, Bodyguard, Ek Tha Tiger, Maine Pyar Kiya and Hum Aap Ke Hain Kaun, have been huge commercial hits. sleeping on the street, killing 38-year-old Noor Ullah Khan and seriously injuring three others. Another person received minor injuries. The prosecution alleged that Khan had been driving the car while drunk. Giving evidence in March., Khan had denied he was drunk or that he was driving the vehicle.

But many witnesses disagreed.

"You were driving the car; you were under the influence of alcohol," he told the actor as soon as the court proceedings began. The 49-year-old actor was also found guilty of negligent driving and causing grievous harm to the victims and given separate terms for each offence, but defence lawyers said all the sentences would run concurrently.

to five years in prison, Khan's expression changed immediately. And even as his sisters tried to comfort him, the actor looked visibly upset. Several of his Bollywood colleagues spoke out in his support and expressed their sympathies. Actress Hema Malini said she was praying for him. If the actor is put behind bars, it will affect several high-profile film projects he is involved in at the moment.

A constable attached to Khan's security detail said in a statement to the police that the "drunk" actor had lost control of the car. The policeman died in 2007 of tuberculosis. In April, Khan's driver told the court that he had crashed the car after a tyre burst but the court did not accept that version.

Philippines, Norway envoys to Pak killed in air crash in Gilgit

Be happy, or not; it’s really your choice Happiness has been much in the headlines lately — and confusingly so. That’s understandable. Although we fling the term around with abandon, it’s not the easiest state of mind to define. According to the Oxford Dictionary, happiness is a condition ranging from pleasure or contentment through a sense of trust or confidence to simple satisfaction with the quality or standard of something. At its most mundane it means merely a statement of willingness — we’re happy to tackle this elusive subject on our readers’ behalf, for example.

Two pilots and four foreign passengers, including the ambassadors of Philippines and Norway and wives of Malaysian and Indonesian ambassadors, aboard an army helicopter have been killed after it crashed in Naltar area in Pakistan, Inter-Services Public Relations said. Director General of Inter Services Public Relations (DG-ISPR) Asim Saleem Bajwa tweeted, “One MI-17 helicopter out of 3 carrying visitors had a crash landing at Naltar,” reported The Express Tribune.

Rescue teams arrived at the site soon after the incident. The helicopter was carrying 11 foreigners and 6 Pakistani passengers. Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, who was due to visit Gigit to attend an inauguration ceremony, has cancelled his trip and expressed profound grief and sorrow over the incident. He also directed the authorities to use all available resources to transport the injured to hospitals and provide best medical care. (ANI)

On the positive living scale, it turns out money can’t be guaranteed to buy happiness after all. Many people with little money insist on living happy lives — affirmation of the observation

So perhaps it’s not surprising that Canadians are generally by some psychologists that happiness is as much a choice as a a pretty happy lot — the Gallup Poll’s World Happiness Report ranks us fifth in the world along with first place Switzerland, Iceland, Denmark and Norway. Canada the polite and occasionally dour ranks ahead of proverbial Sweden and Finland, the Netherlands, New Zealand and Australia, the other members of this

circumstance. Anyway, happiness is a transient condition for everyone, offset by occasional sorrow, flurries of anxiety punctuated by boredom and doses of obsessive distraction. If we were all happy all the time, what would happiness mean? Happy and contented people

Indian Supreme Court upholds convictions of Maple Ridge woman Jassi Sidhu's killers Canadian Press Jassi Sidhu was 25 years old when she was murdered by a group of three hit men, allegedly hired by Sidhu’s mother and uncle. The Indian Supreme Court has upheld the convictions of three men in the murder of a Maple Ridge woman, Jassi Sidhu, even as the fate of the alleged masterminds of the so-called “honour killing” remain in Maple Ridge. The decision, which meant the three men will continue to serve life imprisonment terms, was greeted with mixed emotions by Sidhu’s husband, Sukhwinder (Mithu) Singh. “I am happy that the persons who killed my wife in cold blood will remain behind bars for life,” Singh told India’s Tribune News Service. “But my struggle for justice continues (until) the persons who hired these contract killers face punishment.” Singh named Jassi’s mother and uncle, Malkiat Kaur Sidhu and Surjit Badesha, both of Maple Ridge, as complicit in his wife’s death. “I want to come face-to-face with my mother-in-law and ask her if love was such a crime that she got her own daughter killed,” said Singh, who hasn’t remarried. Both Sidhu and Badesha remain in Canada as they appeal the extradition orders handed down last May in B.C. Supreme Court. Jassi, 25, was kidnapped on June 8, 2000, in the Punjab province. Her body was found the next day in a canal, stabbed, her throat slit. During the extradition hearing, court heard testimony that the Maple Ridge woman incurred the wrath of her mother and uncle after she defied their wishes and secretly married Singh, a poor rickshaw driver she had met during a visit to India. Her family had planned an arranged marriage for Jassi to a wealthy businessman. The judge found both Sidhu and Badesha had strong motives to kill Jassi. The Crown presented evidence of more than 250 phone calls between Badesha and some of the men convicted in her death. The Hindustan Times named the convicted killers as Ashwani Kumar, Anil Kumar and Joginder Singh, a police officer. It’s been a long road to justice for Mithu, who was also attacked by Jassi’s abductors. India made its first extradition request to Canada for Sidhu and Badesha in 2005.

Be exceptionally sharp and smart on May 27. Save any special problem to be solved around this time. Love is looking for you around the May 3 Full Moon. Nothing will be too hard for you around the May 17 New Moon. Figure out what (Apr. 20- may 20) you want to work on and then jump in and finish it. You have energy and motivation like never before. Starting May 25, question an old idea or fashion preference and prepare to be surprised.

Take care of yourself and don't be lured into anybody else's madness as the month starts. The May 3 Full Moon is busy and exciting, but don't take anything personally. Be safe and healthy and get a lot done. At the May 17 New Moon take a beloved project out of the closet and work on what's near and dear (May 21-June 21) to your heart. You need no one's approval in fact, no one else needs to know. The Sun enters Gemini on May 21 and the rest of the month is yours. Mercury is retrograde now, so take your time with any new plans. You can have just as much fun doing your own thing as you can in a big group out in public. It can cost less, too. If friends are going to a big concert on the weekend of the May 3 Full Moon and the music isn't your favorite, it's OK to give it a pass. Surround ( June 22-July 22) yourself with all your favorite people and have a great time around the May 17 New Moon. Don't sit alone staring at the walls. Your friends won't permit it. Heal an old hurt or simply make yourself and someone else happier on May 27.

Dear SOS Dear SOS: I am a 41years-old, Punjabi woman with two small children. My husband and I bought our first house and after sometime his mother moved in with us. Eight months after we moved into our new home my husband passed away in accident. Since his death I have been the sole breadwinner in the family. It’s been three years since his death. My family wants me to remarry. They have introduced me to a very nice man who’s a divorcee. He doesn’t have any kids of his own and he has no problem with my kids. Since meeting him I too have been seriously considering about getting married again. I know my husband would not have an issue with it. I also know if it had been me who had died in the accident his family would expect him to remarry. My mother-in-law has ordered me not to

No matter how busy work or the social scene gets, nothing can compete with the pleasures of just being home. Be sharp at work after the May 17 New Moon and perhaps create a great opportunity. Take more responsibility and win support. If interested in a change in job or career, you might be able to make a move now. Memorial Day weekend is big but not crazy-big fun. You can feel rich and responsible at the same time.

You don't have to tell everybody everything, and saying less could make you feel better. The May 3 Full Moon is busy, but it encourages discretion. Draw closer to your trusted friends and learn some of their secrets. Tie up a million little loose ends in the week of the May 17 New Moon and make daily life (Nov22 22--Dec. Dec 21) (Nov. 21 simpler and easier than you may believe possible. Daily routine is rarely glamorous, but it will be when you do it. The weekend of May 23 is a lucky, fun time with possibly big social plans. Mercury is retrograde now, so maybe skip any deep personal discussions.

Money looks better than usual during the first week. See if you can save a bit more and plump up your financial cushion. People around you may be spending more, especially on the weekend of the May 3 Full Moon, but you don't have to follow their example. (Aug. 23 - Sept. 22) Someone else's concerns may try to run roughshod over yours in the week of the May 17 New Moon. Help if you can and be grateful the problems aren't yours. On May 29 end your workweek peacefully despite any last-minute complications.

Go out and have some serious fun in the first week of May. Meet some new people and make some new friends. You don't need to be intimate right away. The May 3 Full Moon encourages you to be more sociable. A big (Dec 22.22.- Jan. Jan. 19) 19) temptation or gamble could catch your eye (Dec around the May 17 New Moon. You aren't usually attracted to big risks, but this time you have the energy and passion to do more. Consider what it's worth to try. On the weekend of May 23 get some serious work done and then have some seriously wonderful fun!

remarry. She says if I remarry she will not allow me in my house. My parents have told her once I marry she will still live with us as before and that they want me to remarry so that me and my kids will have some security. But my motherin-law refuses to budge. I don’t know what to do. Helpless in Surrey Dear Helpless in Surrey: Decision to marry or not is solely your decision. If you are O.K. with it and if your children do not have an issue with it then you don’t need to worry. Your mother-in-law should be happy to have a daughter-in-law who cares enough to look after her even after her son is no longer alive. If she had any sense at all she would have given you the same status as a daughter and would do whatever she can to secure your future. You need to ask her if it was you instead of your husband would she refuse to allow him to remarry?

If no then what’s the problem. If she still wants to be stubborn then tell her it’s your house she’s living in. If she has an issue with it, she can move out. If she should change her mind then treat her like you would your own mother giving her full respect. Life is too short, you know this better than anyone else. Go ahead marry if you want to. But before that spend some time getting to know that person. Let him interact with your children. And let the children get to know him. If he’s agreeable and if your kids don’t have a problem with it then go live your life. Good Luck.

If the suit almost fits don't wear it (NC) As fashion becomes more daring this spring and business suits get slimmer, men are challenged with finding the perfect style and fit for their body. Just because something is in style doesn't mean it is for everyone. With that said, you can still dress stylishly when you know what works for your body shape. Most of the time it comes down to tailoring, as very few off-the-rack purchases fit everyone perfectly. Tailoring is what gives you the desired look, without looking like your suit has been painted on, or is falling off. Keep in mind that tailoring has its limits. Adjustments should be your way of fine-tuning a suit to compliment your shape, not changing its shape. Here is some helpful advice on what to look for in a suit: The Style: Finding the right fit starts with finding the perfect style for your body. For a traditional look, try a

classic fit - typically a good option for most body types, it offers wider cut shoulders and provides extra room through the chest and back. If you're looking for a more contemporary fit, try what we call the modern cut, which combines slim styling with classic comfort, and is typically narrower in the shoulders and trousers than a classic fit. The slim fit suit is best suited for men who are looking for a modern, trimmeddown fit, as they feature narrow shoulders, higher button stance and higher armholes with slim sleeves, ideal for those with a slimmer build. The Trouser Break: The horizontal dimple on your trouser cuff should ideally rest on the top of your shoe without pooling on the shoe. The Jacket Sleeve: Try to have at least half an inch of shirt cuff visible at the base of your wrist, making sure that

(NC) Clothes should be an extension of your own personality. They should tell your style story, who you are, or at least how you want people to see you. Are you a serious businessperson? A laid-back casual type? A fashion-forward personality? A jokester Guys may ask: how can my grey suit say anything about me other than I'm a man that wears a suit? This is where accessorizing comes in, and spring is the best season to be more creative with a few accents here and there. In addition to some closet staples, every man should use accessories to give his look a little more individuality. Men don't have the luxury that women do when it comes to finishing off a look with jewellery, but accessories have become a growing category in Canadian men's fashion, a category that has recently exploded with the use of pocket squares, tie bars, cufflinks, and scarves. This spring I urge every man to start looking at accessories, adding a few personal elements like these to his closet staples:Investment piecesThese are those pieces you'll have for a lifetime, items that get better with age and almost never go out of style. This season it's all about the richness of menswear: layered looks, the construction of garments, their structure, texture and fabric. It's always a great idea to invest in a few classic pieces, such as a quality leather jacket and a trench coat, to give your wardrobe some longevity. With the trend no longer about primary colours, you can find some stunning basics that

have a much richer colour palette and will last. The add-ons Here's where you can inject some real personality into your look. Find pieces with interesting textures and if you need assistance, start with the Abboud Collection at Moores Clothing for Men. Texture is a significant element in that line and it remains the same this season. Think of texture as the new colour palette, adding character and an expensive feel to fabrics. When trying to kick your business attire up a notch, a tie bar and modern watch are the perfect accessories for work. Pocket squares are also a creative way to add a punch of colour and texture without being garish. The trick is to have fun with mixing accessories. That said you don't want to be a peacock. You don't want your clothes to walk into a room before you do. And, a tie shouldn't be the first thing you see about an outfit. Men should wear the suit, it shouldn't wear them.

your jacket does not rise above the shirt seam. The Jacket Length: A well fitted suit jacket will fall just past your waist. You can measure this by making sure your jacket hem hits right around the middle of your hand. An extra-long jacket will give the illusion of being shorter, something no man wants. The Jacket Collar: The collar should rest against your shirt collar without any significant gaps between. Remember, you should wear your suit, not the other way around. Canadians of all ages eager to embrace virtual health care (NC) Canadians are increasingly ready and willing to BYOD - Bring Your Own Device – to health care. It's commonplace now to use tablets and smartphones to shop, book travel and bank, and at least 75% of consumers want to connect with their healthcare providers electronically. And it's not just the younger generations; a recent Accenture survey of more than 9,000 adults across nine countries, including Canada, found that an estimated 60% of seniors are now tech savvy and want more out of electronic healthcare options, like electronic reminders and online appointment scheduling.

Accessing medical records, requesting prescription refills electronically and being

able to email healthcare providers is becoming an increasing priority for

Remote health care supports aging well at home (NC) For Otto Jensen, 90, remote patient monitoring and health coaching are the solution to managing his congestive heart failure (CHF). A free Ontario remote monitoring and health coaching program -Telehomecare -- helped him learn to cope with his condition and resolve the water retention issue that was causing painful leg swelling. Ulla, his wife of 66 years and caregiver, helps him take his vital signs daily. They're transmitted automatically to a clinician for monitoring. Ulla quickly became comfortable with the technology and she looks forward to talking by phone weekly with Ana, a respiratory therapist based at the Southlake Regional Health Centre in Newmarket, Ont.

Regular checkins with Ana – who shares Otto's health information with his family doctor -- means being able avoid the travel and wait times associated with repeated trips to the doctor or hospital. “It's a great help because you're in touch with somebody every day,” says Ulla. “The program gives me great peace of mind.” Information about Telehomecare is available at www.ontariotelehomecare.ca. Dancing and music originally brought Ulla and Otto together in their

native Denmark, where he was a bandleader. With Otto's health back on track, they now enjoy socializing in their retirement community and keep up with exercise through regular walks at the local community centre. They even have a trip to Europe planned.

consumers, though not yet a reality for all. Used to full advantage, these tools can ultimately offer a new healthcare system that ends fragmented care and puts patients at the centre of an integrated network of care. Options to receive health care via new technologies, like telemedicine and video conferencing, are also becoming increasingly common. That's good news since technology enables access to care and reduced wait times, and helps avoid the need for travel. The survey by Accenture, a global management consulting firm, showed that one in four seniors tracks information pertaining to their health history and 29% of seniors are selftracking health indicators, such as weight and blood pressure. This approach is the basis for Telehomecare, an initiative of the Ontario Telemedicine Network. Telehomecare (ontariotele homecare.ca) provides patients with congestive heart failure and/or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease simple equipment to use at home to monitor oxygen saturation, weight, blood pressure and heart rate daily. Results are electronically monitored by a speciallytrained clinician who also provides weekly telephone health coaching. The end result is a more empowered patient better able to self-manage their chronic condition and live their best life possible. As Canadians become ever more digitally engaged, digital health offerings are certain to grow to make healthcare delivery more convenient and efficient for all.

Deepika Padukone has always been someone who likes to try new and different things in life. She was a badminton champion when she decided to pursue a career in acting. Juggling various interests is a talent of the beautiful actress, and now she has taken up another hobby. She is the unofficial clapper girl for 'Piku'! How did this happen you say? Well, a source close to the unit told us that Shoojit's AD fell sick during the shoot and Deepika who always wanted to assist a film maker told Shoojit to give her an opportunity to try her skills as a clapper girl. Milk could help prevent colorectal cancer–Are you consuming enough? (NC) You may think you are eating healthy, but chances are you're probably not consuming enough of two key food groups: Milk & Alternatives and Fruits & Vegetables. Now is the perfect time for Canadians to rethink their diet. A review of nutrition as it relates to incidence of cancer by the World Cancer Research Fund and the American Institute of Cancer Research, shows that milk may help protect against colorectal cancer. But adding a splash or two of milk into your morning cup just isn't enough, as one cup (or 250 mL) of milk equals one serving. In fact, two-thirds of Canadians over the age of 30 are not getting the two to three recommended servings of Milk & Alternatives every day. To ensure that you are meeting the daily

servings of milk, recommended download the Get Enough Helper App and start tracking what you eat every day. Yearly there are approximately 24,400 (about 13,500 men and 10,800 women) new colorectal cancer cases nationally where 9,300 Canadians will

die from the disease (about 5,100 men and 4,200 women). With those statistics in mind, now more than ever, the Colorectal Cancer Association of Canada (CCAC) is emphasizing the importance of primary prevention and timely screening. “Prevention is key,” says Geneviève Nadeau, registered dietitian and author. So daily regular physical exercise and maintaining a healthy diet is highly recommended by the CCAC. Canada's Food Guide recommends from two to four servings of Milk & Alternatives every day, depending on the age group. “I suggest choosing a combination of your favourite milk, yogurt or cheese products to fulfill daily-recommended servings,” Nadeau adds. Get a head start with this easy breakfast recommended by the team of

Registered Dietitians at Dairy Farmers of Canada for busy families. Each serving provides 2/3 of a cup of milk. Ingredients • 1 1/2 cups (375 mL) large flake oats (oatmeal) • 2 tsp (10 mL) flaxseed, ground • 2 1/2 cups (625 mL) milk • 3 1/2 cups (875 mL) water • 1/3 cup (80 mL) dried dates, diced • 1/3 cup (80 mL) dried apples, diced • 1 tsp (5 mL) ground cinnamon • 1/3 cup (80 mL) brown sugar • 3 tbsp (45 mL) slivered almonds, toasted Preparation In a re-sealable container, combine the oats, flaxseed, milk and water. Refrigerate overnight. Early in the morning, pour the mixture into a saucepan and add the dried fruit and cinnamon. Cook on low for approximately 15 minutes while stirring often. Add brown sugar and serve with the slivered almonds.

(NC) The only thing better than a homemade meal is a homegrown meal – and creating fresh and delicious salads using vegetables, fruits, and herbs grown in your own backyard is about as fresh as it gets when it comes to summer dining. “Self-contained salad bowls are a great way to start growing your own produce,” says Peter Cantley, gardening expert for the President's Choice brand. “They're very low maintenance because they grow right in the container so there's no need to replant them or worry about them having enough room to grow.” If you've never tasted kale raw in a salad, try this recipe, says Cantley, using the PC Kale Bowl. The fruit-and-nut combo is perfect for summer while the balsamic condiment, pine nuts and pecorino give it a wonderful Italian flavour. The recipe easily doubles for a crowd, perfect for your next backyard barbecue. Fresh and Crispy Kale Salad Ingredients: • 1/4 cup (50 ml) extra virgin olive oil • 1/4 cup (50 ml) PC Splendido White Condiment With Balsamic Vinegar of Modena • 1 tsp (5 ml) 100% pure medium maple syrup • Pinch of salt • Pinch of freshly ground black pepper • 1 bunch kale, coarse stems removed • 1/4 cup (50 ml) pine nuts, toasted • 1/4 cup (50 ml) dried currants • 1 tbsp (15 ml) grated lemon rind • 1/4 cup (50 ml) shaved Pecorino cheese Instructions: 1. In a small bowl, whisk together oil, condiment, syrup, salt and pepper. 2. Slice kale into ½-inch (1 cm) wide strips; place in medium bowl. Add dressing; massage into kale leaves until well coated. Let stand for 10 minutes. 3. Add pine nuts and currants, tossing to coat. Garnish with grated lemon rind and Pecorino shavings.
