Quella mattina, Luigi Mucci, percorrendo con il suo calesse la strada dai vigneti del colore del sole, aveva nel cuore una nuova soddisfazione. Era il 25 ottobre del 1895 ed egli, già avanti negli anni andava a ritirare il suo diploma di Tecnico Enologo conseguito alla “Regia Scuola Pratica di Agricoltura” in Scerni (Chieti). Con le nuove conoscenze avrebbe fatto il vino migliore della sua vita. Da allora è scritto nel DNA della famiglia Mucci la passione per la coltivazione delle vite e la vinificazione. Oggi l’azienda è diretta da Aurelia e Valentino Mucci, con il supporto del papà Nicola, coinvolti in prima persona nelle attività aziendali. Tradizione, passione ed intuizione sono state le qualità trainanti che hanno condotto l’azienda Mucci ad affermarsi nel campo della produzione dei vini di qualità. Le continue attenzioni nei propri vigneti e in cantina, l’accurata selezioni di cloni nuovi e la riscoperta dei cloni classici, le diverse tipologie di coltivazioni impiantando vigneti in diverse altitudini, curando i metodi di fermentazione e temperature, le tecniche di vinificazione tradizionali e moderne, i tipi di legno delle botti e variando i tempi dell’invecchiamento in barrique ed in bottiglia.

That morning, riding his calash through the vineyard road, sparkling with the colour of the sun, Luigi Mucci Kept a new satisfaction in his heart. It was the 25th of November in the year of 1895 and he was travelling to gain his diploma as wine oenologist after his study at the “Regia Scuola Pratica di Agricoltura” in Scerni (Chieti). With his new knowledges he was destined to broduce the best wine of his life. From then, the passion for the wine cultivation is written in the DNA of the Mucci family. Nowadays the company is led by Aurelia and Valentino Mucci, with the support of Nicola, their dad. They are fully involvedint the company business. Tradition, passion and intuition are the leading qualities that bring the Mucci company among the best quality wines production groups. The continuous cares to the wineyards and the cellar, the accurate selection of the new clones and the discover of the old ones, the various cultivation techniques planting wineyards at different heights, always caring about the fermentation methods and the temperature, the ancient and modern wine-making techniques, the kind of wood of the barrels and changing the aging periods in barriques and bottles.
