By studying with us you’ll be encouraged to listen, speak, read and write only in the language that you’re learning. This total immersion method creates a highly effective learning environment in which our students build their Spanish language ability floor by floor. Let’s imagine that learning Spanish is like building a house with different floors. You can’t build the next floor if the one below is not complete. That’s why our CASA program has 6 levels that help you build your Spanish language from beginner right through to advanced.
HERE’S A CLOSER LOOK AT EACH FLOOR: Floor 6. Advanced Level You did it! Here you’ll extend your vocabulary even further as you put into practice the conversational skills and grammar you have learned. Floor 5. High Intermediate Level You are close to the final level! At this point you have acquired a good knowledge of Spanish which you’ll improve by expressing your opinion about national and international news. Floor 4. Intermediate Level
On the fourth floor, you’ll start learning el subjuntivo a key feature of Spanish grammar. Plus you’ll also strengthen your speaking skills as you express yourself more and more.
Floor 3. Low-Intermediate Level You are halfway there! Here you’ll learn to communicate in a wider range of social contexts as you develop your vocabulary and grammar further. Floor 2. Pre-Intermediate Level
You have reached the second floor! Now you’ll learn how to express your past and future plans around a series of different topics.

By studying Spanish for just 2 hours each day, Monday through to Friday, you’ll work regularly on your Spanish and be able to feel an efficient and fast improvement.
No time to loose! This course is perfect for people who want to focus on their Spanish and improve it as quickly as possible. This course is popular with our students because it offers them an easy and effective way to learn Spanish. Classes are 4 hours every day, Monday through to Friday, in the morning or in the afternoon.
(6 hours a week >1 level = 6 weeks)
Too much work or too many things to see in Barcelona? Don’t Worry, we have the perfect solution for you! This course is for busy people. And takes place twice a week in the evening, 3 hours a day (Mon&Wed or Tue&Thu), giving you plenty of time to work or enjoy the city.

Private lessons are the flexible solution for people with specific needs for content and schedule. Private lessons can be from 1 to 3 students. Each lesson is a minimum of 1.5 hours and can take place at the school or offsite at a location of your choice.

This course is built around our CASA immersion program and based on private lessons. With Express Spanish students get the one to one support they need to develop their Spanish language skills in the fastest time possible.
This course is great for students who want to have group lessons with the added benefit of private lessons combined. With our combined Spanish course you have the best of both worlds. You get to enjoy the social aspect of studying in a group whilst still being able to focus on your specific learning needs.
EXAM PREPARATION COURSES
(4 weeks x 20 h/w = 80 hours - 445euros)
Our courses will prepare you for either the B1 Nivel Inicial Certificate (CIE) or the B2 Nivel Intermedio Diploma (DIE). You will learn everything you need to know to pass the exam including in depth techniques for achieving the best results. Course start dates: Spring, Summer and Autumn. ACADEMIC YEAR SPANISH COURSE

This course is a great option for anyone who wants to study Spanish and live in Barcelona for a up to 10 months. Students study 4 hours of Spanish every day from Monday to Friday and can choose to start the course in January or September. The course program covers 36 or 40 weeks of Spanish group lessons based on the CASA immersion program in addition to lessons in Spanish life and culture. Students on the Academic Year course also benefit from having DELE preparation lessons followed by the opportunity to take the DELE exam and gain an internationally recognised qualification in Spanish language competency approved by the Instituto Cervantes.

In addition they have been comprehensively trained to teach our unique CASA program.

We feel that it’s one of the most effective face-to-face language learning methods you’ll experience. And with the help of our teachers you’ll be guided level by level to your goal of Spanish language proficiency. SUPPORTIVE STUDENT-TEACHER RATIO You’ll learn a lot faster with a low studentteacher ratio. At Speakeasy we have one of the lowest with a maximum of only 10 students per class. This creates an opportunity for you to learn, practice and develop your language skills with the constant support of a qualified teacher. By learning in an immersive environment you’ll gain not only the knowledge of another language but also the confidence you’ll need to put it in to practice. The perfect place to find new friends. You can choose to have your meals included depending on your budget and needs. We also offer an Internet cafe where you can connect your own laptop if needed. The residence is about 15 minutes from the school and city centre by Metro. If you are two or more people looking for accommodation then we also have double rooms available.
Having a nice place to stay is important when studying abroad. At Speakeasy our aim is to make you feel relaxed, secure and at home.
We offer three types of accommodation for you to choose from.

A family homestay is an excellent way to practise your Spanish and experience Spanish culture firsthand. You will have your own room, your own keys plus access to bathroom and laundry facilities. Breakfast and dinner are included and take place with the family. Most of our families live within 10-20 minutes by Metro from the school and the city centre. Conditions: Placement fee: 50 euros Minimum: 7 days
Have space to be you. from 24 euros *prices per day
A shared private apartment means that you are a guest in an apartment of a Spanish person. Please note that typically there will be 1-2 rooms in the flat that are occupied by students. You will have your own room, your own keys and access to all shared areas of the flat. Food is generally not included. Most of the apartments are within 10-20 minutes by Metro from the school and the centre of town.
