Continental unveils tire blitz

he broad effort now underway by Continental Tire North America (CTNA) to build market share in the U.S. includes recently introduced new products and programs at the Mid-America Trucking Show. Fifth wheel release system

T

nT has introduced a new release aimed at the lightand heavy-duty aftermarket designed to help drivers release a fifth wheel, sliding tandems, and open cargo doors or reach straps safely and easily. According to the company, the TnT Release reduces pull effort needed by 60 to 90%; minimizes strain on the driver’s back; won’t harm the truck or trailer; and is simple to install.
