Our high performance motorcycle company has evolved into a successful mail-order parts business, with engine building and machine shop services. This engine bolts directly into most stock chassis from ‘99-‘06 and typically makes 150 RWHP with excellent throttle response. All S&S Street Pro engines are 45 V-Twins, built with the S&S crankcases including the S&S gear drive cams. The Street Pro engine is available with either dual cam or Evolution rear motor mounts. V-TWIN ENGINES 124” ENGINE WITH B2 HEADS The most sought after performance based 124” engine is now available from Star Racing. VFI and carb version S&S Cycle assembled engines are in stock and ready to ship. These high horsepower output engines are assembled with the ever popular B2 heads, which have oversize intake and exhaust valves and are capable of producing over 170 rear wheel horsepower with a few modifications. This dyno chart shows the results for a 124" 1999 Dyna® with S&S SA B2 heads, a 2.150" venturi Super D carb, the S&S IST Ignition, 2-1/4" drag pipes, and S&S 675 cams. The excellent, wide midrange torque band makes this an excellent combination for high performance street applications as well as the racetrack.

124” ENGINE – REPLACES STOCK EVO ® S&S V124 engines are designed to replace stock HarleyDavidson® Evolution® big twin engines in 84-99 chassis. This is a single cam design engine which has a similar configuration to stock, it's just bigger and badder. The V124 engine is available for carbureted and fuel injected models, and in natural, black, and polished finish. All V124 engines now feature chrome billet tappet guides and gearcover, electric compression releases, and show quality chrome plated die- cast S&S rocker covers.

V-TWIN ENGINES PANHEAD ENGINE – RETRO STYLING Vintage Vibe . . . M odern M uscle In the fall of 2007, S&S introduced an engine with a retro look, and updated technology. The Panhead engine has been hailed as the coolest looking classic engine of all time, and the Flathead Power™ P-Series engines from S&S capture that retro styling from the 50's and 60's, but with 21st century engineering. P-series engines are available in four styles to fit 48-'99 style chassis. One engine style is designed for 54'64 style tin primary applications. These 5-64 style P-series engines can also be installed in 48-54 chassis if a 55-64 style inner tin primary cover is used. Another engine fits 65-69 style chassis using the early alloy primary. Finally, for retro custom applications, alternator and alternator/generator versions are offered that will fit any stock or custom 70-99 style chassis. Match your performance needs with a choice of displacements and compression ratios: 93", 93" high compression, or the big and bad 103" model. The P93H and P103 engines come standard with dual plugged heads. While P93 and P93H engines will nearly always fit in stock chassis, P103 engines are 300" taller than stock and will not fit in stock frames without modification.

S H O VE L HE AD E NGINE – RE T RO C H O PPE RS S&S SH-Series engines for shovelheads are based on the S&S Sidewinder® big bore cylinders and stroker flywheels they have offered since 1976. Assembled with S&S crankcases, valve train components, electronic ignition, and S&S cylinder heads, these engines are topped off with great looking S&S polished billet rocker boxes. Engines are available with 66-69 generator style crankcases, 70-84 alternator style crankcases, or with custom alternator left/generator right crankcases. Generator style engines feature the S&S polished billet electronic timer loaded with an S&S Super Stock® electronic ignition, and are now available with a polished billet gearcover. The S&S billet tappet guides, used on all SH-Series engines, are designed around the quiet, dependable hydraulic tappets used in 8499 engines. SH-Series engines are available in three versions: SH93, SH93H, and SH103. SH93 and SH93H engines are 93 cid engines and are available in generator, alternator, and alternator/generator styles.

113” ENGINE – PERFORMANCE STREET ENGINE

S&S V113 yields 103.7 hp and a healthy 115 ft/lb of torque with the S&S 600 cam and Super G carb. This bike was equipped with a Thunder Header exhaust.

V113 engines are available in natural, black and polished finish, with either the S&S IST® or the S&S Super Stock® Ignition System. The V113 is actually shorter than a stock 80" HarleyDavidson® Evolution® engine by about .050”, which makes it easy to fit into any stock 84-99 frame. In addition, engine life and dependability are better than you might expect from an engine this large. In fact, IST equipped versions come with a full three year warranty. Chrome plated billet gearcover, tappet guides, and die cast rocker covers, S&S roller rocker arms, S&S electric compression releases, the S&S High Volume High Pressure (HVHP) oil pump & S&S Super G carburetor are standard features.

1 0 7 ” E N G I N E – T O U R I N G S PE C I A L T o u r i n g i s D i f f e r e n t - S&S is known as a performance company, and rightly so. But a big horsepower number at 7000 rpm will not help a loaded bagger merge with interstate traffic on a short on-ramp. Lots of torque at 3000 rpm will do quite nicely. The V107T Touring Special satisfies the needs of the performance minded touring rider with a healthy displacement, a relatively short 4-1/4" stroke, but large 4. 000" bore. The result is a performance engine with characteristics that are ideal for touring. When riding for extended periods of time, noise and vibration can really get on your nerves, so it is important that the engine be smooth and quiet. The relatively short stroke, the new S&S single coil valve springs, and the quiet 585 cam make the V107T touring special a pleasure to ride for the long haul.

96” ENGINE – INDUSTRY STANDARD If you’re looking to replace a worn out stock Harley-Davidson® Evolution® engine with something a bit more potent without breaking the bank, you still can’t beat a V96. This year S&S offers an updated version of the V96 that makes it an even better value and a better “daily driver”. The main difference is the replacement of the SuperStock® cylinder heads and domed piston with S&S Performance replacement heads and a flat topped piston. Special pricing makes the V96 competitive with imported engines, but when you consider the performance, excellent reliability, and engine life of the U.S. built V96, the choice is obvious.

106” BIG BORE KITS FOR 07-UP BIG TWIN No Machining! Easy Installation! Despite what some say, bigger is better, and if making something bigger is easy, that’s the best. V-TWIN HOT ROD PARTS REPLACEMENT FLYWHEELS FOR 07-UP BIG TWIN ENGINES S&S Flywheels for 07-up 96” engines are available as a stock replacement assembly and as a high performance upgrade. The stock replacement unit features connecting rods that are tapered at the wrist pin end in order to be compatible with the stock Harley-Davidson® piston. SPECIAL APPLICATION B2 BIG FIN CYLINDER HEADS If you’re looking for a way to make your S&S 124” engine more competitive at the drag strip, this is how it is done. Introducing the Special Application (SA) Big Fin B2 Racing Cylinder Head Kits. There are five kits available for S&S 124’s. For each engine there are kits for carbureted as well as engines equipped with S&S VFI. These are high flowing SA cylinder heads intended for applications where top end horsepower is the most important consideration. The big fin design offers superior cooling which is so important for big inch high performance engines. These 4-1/8” bore heads are assembled with 2.220” intake valves, 1.800” exhaust valves and S&S .660” lift valve springs with titanium top collars. BIG BORE CRANKCASES FOR 99UP BIG TWIN ENGINES How big is big? S&S TCSA crankcases can be ordered for engines with cylinder bore sizes of 4.250” to 4.800”. In order to accommodate these very large bore sizes, the cam chest of the right side case has been offset .375”. The offset of the cam chest requires the use of a special .375” longer pinion shaft. In addition, crankcase deck height can be machined to the stock height of 6.000” or as high as 7.125” from the crank center line. The additional cylinder deck height allows for more material and greater strength between the cylinder spigot bores when the cases are machined for large bore cylinders. Like all S&S crankcases, the S&S TCSA come with all required hardware for assembly. In addition, an S&S crankcase breather valve is included in the kit. Call for pricing.

V-TWIN HOT ROD PARTS HIGH PERFORMANCE CLUTCH The S&S high performance clutch is available for 91-06 models with mechanical or hydraulic clutch actuation, except 06 Dyna™. The S&S clutch features an early style, 66-tooth ring gear because the larger, stronger teeth on this gear are better able to stand up to the force required to turn over a big inch engine. They are also less likely to be sheared off in the event of a backfire. An early style starter pinion gear, available from S&S, is required for all 94-06 models. In spite of the tremendous power and torque handling capacity of the S&S high performance clutch, it is only slightly larger than stock and can be used in stock primary cases with only minor clearancing operations which are not visible when the primary is assembled. CHAIN DRIVE CAMS FOR 07-UP BIG TWINS The vastly improved hydraulic chain tensioners allow you to replace the stock cams with an S&S chain drive cam set. All you replace are the cams. You re-use the stock cam drive components so you save money on parts. Saving money on parts has always been a good idea, but never more so than it is today. AIR CLEANER KITS S&S air cleaner kits are available for 08 and up baggers with electronic throttle control. They bolt on to the stock EFI throttle body in place of the stock air cleaner. A high flow air cleaner will improve the performance of a stock engine, but a set of performance slip-on mufflers is generally installed at the same time because the gain in performance is greater with both then it is with either one alone. When you are ready to add a cam, a big bore kit, or performance cylinder heads, the results will just get better. Normally, the installation of an air cleaner kit & performance mufflers will not cause any tuning problems for stock closed loop fuel injection systems, as they can easily accommodate the additional fuel requirements. The addition of performance cams will require additional tuning for proper operation.

GEAR DRIVE CAMSHAFTS KITS FOR 99-06 BIG TWIN ENGINES The patented S&S Gear Drive Cams are a must in order to achieve the full potential from high performance HarleyDavidson® Twin Cam 88® engines. Since the chain drive system used in stock Twin Cam 88 engines is not adequate to accurately control valve action at high RPM when using high lift cams and high performance valve springs, a different system was needed. The S&S Gear Drive System was developed to improve performance and to eliminate potential engine damage caused by failure of the chain and tensioner system. S&S Gear Drive Camshaft Kits improve valve timing accuracy by eliminating timing chain lash as well as variations caused by the loose fitting stock cam drive sprockets. All stock chain drive components are replaced with S&S Gear Drive Cams and outer drive gears. This simple, effective solution provides two to three more horsepower simply by eliminating chain drag, and allows more aggressive cam profiles and increased valve spring force to be used. DYNO FACILITIES DYNO FACILITIES Dyno Tuning, sometimes known as dyno testing or mapping, is essential to realizing the full potential of today's fuel injected and carbureted motorcycles with performance modifications. The only way to accurately calibrate fuel and ignition maps while diagnosing run and drivability issues in a controlled environment is to Dyno test your motorcycle. At Star Racing, we have technicians who are trained to map Power Commander, H-D Pro Super Tuner, and other aftermarket devices for your Harley速, Suzuki or Kawasaki. A baseline Dyno run will provide you torque, horsepower, RPM and AFR measurements. Tuning will also properly diagnose and correct fuel or ignition problems, optimize your motorcycle's performance and measure the affects of changes or modifications. Graphs will be printed for a before and after comparison. We offer Dyno tuning by the hour. Most mapping can be done in four hours or less, but varies based on the number of tuning variables and how the bike responds to tuning changes. Additional labor cost may be incurred if parts installation is required. Dyno testing at the Star Racing facility, 123 Crisp Drive, Americus, Georgia must be scheduled in advance. Drop offs are welcome.
