AMCHAMS IN EUROPE (ACE)

On October 5 8, 37 representatives of 26 AmChams across Europe gathered for the AmChams in Europe (ACE) Best Practice Sharing Conference 2022, in Sofia, Bulgaria.

From AmCham Armenia, the conference was attended by Ms. Lilit Gevorgyan, CEO who also serves as a Board Member in ACE and Ms. Armine Davtyan, Policy Advisor.

Next to lots of roundtable discussions, sessions, experience sharing, and networking opportunities the participants were also hosted by the U.S. Ambassador to Bulgaria, H.E. Herro Mustafa in U.S. Embassy, Bulgaria. Learn More

This time our Be My Guest event was hosted by the Opera Suite Hotel, our member since 2017.

On October 27th, AmCham member companies were invited there to get to know each other better in an informal environment. More than 30 companies participated in the event.

The General Manager Mr. Sanasar Hakobyan and the Management team of the Opera Suite Hotel warmly welcomed the guests in the lobby. The evening continuedat the Sinatra restaurantonthe 12th floor of the hotel.

PRESENTATION OF JOBBIT

On 4 October 2022 AmCham and Cascade People & Business jointly organized a presentation of jobbit, an innovative salary survey product.

During the meeting the details on registering on the platform and using the benefits of the product were introduced.

The participants tested the platform onsite by submitting data, observed the salary survey graphs and provided good feedback on the product specifics.

ADJUSTMENTS IN VOCATIONAL EDUCATION AND TRAINING (VET) INSTITUTIONS

On October 19, a stakeholder consultation of the draft law on PWD Reasonable adjustments in Vocational Education and Training (VET) institutions was organized in the frames of Armenia Workforce Development Activity at Ani Grand Hotel. The event gathered the State stakeholders, NGOs led by and working on PWD issues, international partners, and representatives of VET institutions.

ALEXANDREA WINERY was established in 2017. Since then, the company has started the plantation of vineyards in 3 different regions of Armenia as Kotayk, Aragatsotn, and Vayots Dzor with 18, 37 and 20,5 hectares respectively.

The company founder, Adam Kablanian, has a vision of creating the best wines that Armenian terroir can offer and making Alexandrea o destination of choice for people who seek memorable experiences by offering wines made using state of the art technology in a contemporary, yet natural setting.

Alexandrea Winery Is an Investment project of about 10 million US dollars, and since 2017 25% has already been invested in the vineyards. The winery will produce high quality wines both for domestic consumption and export prospects. The company will provide a comfortable Infrastructure for tourists to get acquainted with the traditions of Armenian winemaking.
