Every man regardless of size should own at least one quality suit. This one is my favorite. I'm a big fan of neutrals. Plus with this suit there are a lot of shirt and tie combinations that I can use to essentially change the look of the suit. I prefer this one the most however. The stripes on the shirt give me a lot of options with the tie. I use the blue because it really adds some color to the suit. The matching pocket square adds just the right balance. The chocolate arm garters are a throwback to the 1920's and 1930's. With the jacket off it adds something a little different. A gentlemanly like element if you will. With a nice belt and matching shoes and the outfit is complete. The suit is from S&K/The shirt from Dillards/The pocket square and tie from J.C. Penny (but can be found at any department store)/Arm Garters... lol can't give away all my secrets

Arm or Sleeve Garter’s can be found as far back as the 1800’s. Most of us have all seen the image of the guy who runs numbers in the green visor and red sleeve garters. Since the majority of men’s shirts in era prior to the late 19th into the 20th had long sleeves. They were impractical for some trades and activities. Men would roll up their sleeves for hard work, or keep the sleeves up by the use of arm garters. Arm garters of the period were fashioned of plain black elastic. Most men’s shirts today are tailored and if you your sleeves are too long you can easily have them fixed that doesn’t mean you can’t make the best of this trend from an earlier time. Check out this Atlanta Designer who uses the bands in his design Another option since the few arm bands I found online were limited, is to use a men’s sock garter as the same accessory. Plus they come in a wider range and variety of colors and styles! Traditional Metal Sleeve Garters Vintage Sleeve Garter Sock Garter that can double as Sleeve Garter

5. Where do you find Inspiration? I'm a huge hip-hop fan, so most of it comes from there. But I also like to "dress up" and in that aspect I look back to the 1920s and 1930s. Very classic, tailoredfit. 6. Thinking of your wardrobe, what is your favorite article of clothing? Outside of my shoe collection - I'm a sneaker addict - it would have to be either my arm garters or my Paper Denim jeans. The arm garters aren't something you see often and are a big attention getter. The jeans are comfortable and fit perfectly.

7. What piece of clothing would you like to wear, but can never find in your size? Fashion vests. They can be really versatile and are becoming a wardrobe must-have. 8. What is your biggest complaint about Big and Tall clothing? The lack of variety in suits and dress shirts.

There are certain items that are permanent fixtures in Hip-Hop culture, and Timbs are one of them. I love the look of the classic wheat and white, but sometimes it's hard finding outfits that really set them off. V-Neck tees are in right now and this one is the cornerstone of the outfit. The jacket helps bring out the white in the shirt and on the sole and panel of the Timbs. The fade on the jeans helps add the balance needed to contrast the difference in the tan and the white.

The silver face and white band of the watch tie-in perfectly with the silver zipper of the jacket. The jacket is from Dillards/The shirt is from Dillards/The jeans are from Macy's/The Timbs are from Journeys

9. What store would you like to shop at if they offered clothing in your size? Express. 10. Do you like the term “Big and Tall”? If not, can you think of anything better? Advice What Advice would you give to Big & Tall Men who are looking to express themselves through fashion but are a bit discouraged ? The internet is your friend. Don’t feel like your style is confined to your environment. If you can’t find the type of clothes that you’re looking for in your area, then go outside your area. But above all, what you wear is only one part. The other part is wearing whatever you have on with confidence. ```

This is one of the simplest outfits to put together. You can toss it on when you're in a rush to meet some people for drinks, or replace the shoes with some square toes and wear it to work for casual Friday. The jeans are key here. The difference between good jeans and great jeans is like the difference between good food and great food. You don't really know how much better great jeans are until you get that first taste. But then, every time after that, you will KNOW what separates the two. Wearing a black blazer and dark jeans is a classic look. Again, I've paired it with a Vneck tee. I've chosen a simple, all-white, to draw more attention to the shoes. If you decide to use a sole color shoe then feel free to do more with your shirt. For a more casual look, I've decided to finish my outfit with my polka dot Air Jordan Retro 1's. The blazer is from Burlington. /The jeans are from Saks Fifth Avenue./The shoes are from Champs.
