How long does the procedure take?

Liposuction is usually a day care or a one night long procedure. The procedure usually takes between 1 to 4 hours. 

What is the recovery period after liposuction?

The patient can go home on the same day of the treatment. In rare cases a one night stay is required. If the patient follows the pre and the post treatment prescriptions then the recovery is usually faster. The recovery time is usually 2 to 10 days. Some swelling or bruising might occur and persist for a few days. 

What are the risks of undergoing liposuction?

There are no major risks of liposuction as it takes place between the skin and the muscles. Depending upon your overall health the surgeon will discuss with you any complications that may arise during the procedure.
