MODERN DAY LIPOSUCTION PROCEDURES & TECHNIQUES
With advances in the field of cosmetic surgery, liposuction now has become an easy and less painful process. The procedure involves removal of stubborn fat cells from certain areas of the human body in order to make it look more toned and in shape. The procedure can be performed on different parts of the body at the same time depending upon the amount of fat to be removed and the patients overall health. Pre and post procedure care needs to be taken for effective results. Liposuction procedure is a day care or probably a one night procedure. There are 3 types of effective liposuction procedures and techniques. Depending upon the amount of excess fat to be removed and the cost of the treatment the patient can chose any of these procedures which fit his budget. Usually the liposuction procedure involves the insertion of a hollow tube called cannula, which is connected to a vacuum pressure unit (aspirator) which sucks out the unwanted fat. The three types of effective liposuction procedures & techniques are:  Laser Liposuction Laser Liposuction also referred as Smart Lipo involves insertion of the cannula equipped with a powerful laser which targets only specific fat cells and melts them before been suctioned out. Laser assisted liposuction is neither a permanent weight loss procedure nor a treatment for obesity. It’s a body sculpting procedure. Results can be seen immediately but long term effects will take some time. Post procedure medication and diet is also prescribed. Minimum 2 or 3 days rest is required post the treatment.
 Vaser Liposuction Vaser liposuction is uses an ultrasound frequency to break up the fat cells thereby offering a safe and effective body contouring. The procedure is performed under local anesthesia. The procedure involves insertion of small tiny probes in the areas from where the fat cells between the skin and muscles are to be removed. The probes resonate at high frequency producing sound that literally shakes the fat cells which then get liquefied and are suctioned out.  Tumescent Liposuction Tumescent liposuction is the latest procedure which reduces the postoperative swelling and pain. This technique involves injecting the excessive fat areas with an anesthetic liquid which causes the fat cells to become swollen and firm or tumesced .The expanded fat cells allow the cannula to travel smoothly beneath the skin as the fat is removed. This procedure is generally for people who want to remove larger areas of fat.
