Financial Aid SCHOLARSHIPS Each year Albertus Magnus College awards a variety of scholarships. In order to be eligible, students must meet the following requirements: • Submit a completed application by February 28 • Attend a regionally accredited high school or college/university • Plan to attend Albertus Magnus College as a full-time student The Office of Admission makes every attempt to evaluate each student’s transcripts fairly. In doing so, we reserve the right to recalculate cumulative grade point averages. SISTER MARIA PATRICIA DEVANEY SCHOLARSHIP* • Awarded to incoming freshmen with a minimum 3.7 cumulative high school G.P.A., and minimum SAT scores in Critical Reading and Math of 1200 (no component score lower than 500) • 75% tuition reduction • Renewable provided the student maintains a 3.5 cumulative G.P.A. PRESIDENTIAL SCHOLARSHIP* • Awarded to incoming freshmen with a minimum 3.2 cumulative high school G.P.A. • $14,000 tuition reduction • Minimum SAT scores in Critical Reading and Math of 1100 (no

component score lower than 500) OR a 3-year documented history of community service (minimum of 40 hours per calendar year) • Renewable provided the student maintains a 3.2 cumulative G.P.A. MOHUN SCHOLARSHIP* • Awarded to incoming freshmen who attend Catholic high schools • $7,500 tuition reduction • Students must have a cumulative G.P.A. of 3.0 or higher and minimum SAT scores in Critical Reading and Math of 950 (no component score lower than 400) • Renewable provided the student maintains a 3.0 cumulative G.P.A. SISTER FRANCIS DE SALES HEFFERNAN AWARD • Awarded to incoming freshmen who attend Catholic high schools • $2,500 tuition reduction • Student must have a cumulative G.P.A. of 2.5 • Renewable provided the student maintains a cumulative 2.5 G.P.A. TRANSFER STUDENT SCHOLARSHIPS The Transfer Scholarships are offered to students who plan to transfer to Albertus Magnus College from a regionally accredited college or university

COST OF EDUCATION with a minimum of 30 transferable credits. • $12,000 tuition reduction with a minimum 3.5 cumulative G.P.A. oo Renewable provided the student maintains a 3.2 cumulative G.P.A. • $9,000 tuition reduction with a minimum 3.2 cumulative G.P.A. oo Renewable provided the student maintains a 3.0 cumulative G.P.A. • $6,000 tuition reduction with a minimum 2.8 cumulative G.P.A. oo Renewable provided the student maintains a 2.8 cumulative G.P.A. HONORABLE RICHARD C. LEE SCHOLARSHIPS FOR NEW HAVEN AREA STUDENTS* This grant is offered to students attending high school in New Haven, North Haven, West Haven, East Haven, Hamden, or Orange/Woodbridge. • Up to a 75% tuition reduction: minimum SAT scores in Critical Reading and Math of 1100 and a cumulative G.P.A. of 3.5 • Up to a 50% tuition reduction: minimum SAT scores in Critical Reading and Math of 1000 and a cumulative G.P.A. of 3.0 • Have demonstrated financial need

The following are estimates of the educational and housing expenses for the academic year. 2013-2014 Per Year 2 Semesters (30 Credits) Tuition $27,888 Room & Board $12,342 Fees $2,130 Total (including Room & Board) $42,360 Personal expenses, which should be anticipated, include transportation and other miscellaneous items. Albertus regrets that it cannot, at this time, consider International Students for financial aid. *Scores on the Writing section of the SAT will not be used when considering academic scholarship and grants eligibility for those applying at this time.
