Manifesto The Cascade brand concentrates on the core values of healthy and active lifestyle, providing quality products and a brand for many. The form of the packaging being a hexagonal prism reflects the healthy and active values of the brand. Hexagon is one of the geometric shapes that occurs in nature. Found in the formation of honeycomb, it is associated with bees and their co-operative, hard-working natures. It also symbolises harmony, equality and perfection. The colours chosen are of pastel colours. Pastels evoke openness and relaxation. They are considered relieving and soothing and are even sometimes equated with sanity. The different colours very closely translate to the different flavours Cascade have (Green Jasmine, Peach White & Citrus). The geometric patterns found all over the packaging and the type give the brand somewhat of a luxurious and premium look. It heavily contrasts with the relaxing pastel colours, giving the overall aesthethic a well-balanced look between the softness and relaxation of the colours and the premium and solid foundation of the brand provided by the patterns. Lastly, the custom font that displays a retro style correlate to the brand being made for many. Retro style is a style that is consciously imitative of trends, music, modes, fashions, or attitudes. So it simply means that since the style is trendy, it is much more available to a wide range of audiences.
