El día comenzó encontrándonos en el aeropuerto. Entramos en el avión a las 12:10h, pero el vuelo salió a las 12:45h.
We met at the airport. We got in the plane at 12:10 p.m. and the flight took off at 12:45 p.m.
En el avión nos dieron de comer dos pinchos y de beber lo que quisimos. El aterrizaje fue suave y a continuación fuimos a por las maletas.
In the aircraft we had some snacks and some drinks. The landing was right and then we went to pick up our luggage.
Después cogimos un tren de dos plantas que nos llevó hasta el hotel. Fuimos a cenar a un restaurante italiano y cenamos espaguetis con pollo y lasaña. Nos alojamos en el mismo hotel que los niños griegos.
Then we caught a double-decker train to the hotel. At night we had dinner at an Italian restaurant, we had spaghetti with chicken and lasagna. We stayed at the same hotel than the children from Greece.
Nos despertaron a las 7:00 de la mañana.
We got up at 7 a.m.
Cogimos un tren para ir al colegio y allí desayunamos. Después nos presentamos al resto de niños y profesores de los diferentes países (Alemania, Italia, Turquía y Grecia). Nos enseñaron a tocar muchos instrumentos que no sabíamos que sonaban tan bien y luego fuimos al recreo.
We caught a train to get to school and we had breakfast over there. After having breakfast we met the rest of the children and their teachers from different countries (Germany, Italy, Turkey and Greece). We learnt how to play different instruments and then we had a break and we went to the playground.
Después nos pusimos a dibujar el “firebird” o pájaro de fuego, el protagonista de nuestro cuento musical. Después tuvimos clase de música y salimos otra vez al recreo.
After the break, we drew the “firebird”, the main character in our story. Then we had a music lesson and another break.
Para comer tuvimos cosas raras típicas de Alemania (salchichas, patatas y chucrut) y después de comer tuvimos clase de idioma. Al salir del colegio nos llevaron a un rocódromo y nos lo pasamos muy bien. Cenamos en el McDonald’s, pero la comida no nos gustó mucho.
For lunch we had some typical food from Germany (sausages, baked potatoes and sauerkraut), and then we had a language lesson. When we finished school, we went to an indoor rock climbing centre and we had great fun! We had dinner at McDonald’s, but we didn’t like it very much.
Hoy en el colegio desayunamos leche con cereales.
We had milk and cereals for breakfast at school.
Después empezamos a preparar la historia y a practicar con algunos instrumentos.
Then, we started preparing the story of the Firebird and we played some instruments.
Comimos puré de patatas con trocitos de salchichas y de postre… ¡Helado! Por la tarde fuimos a visitar el estadio de Borussia de Dortmund. Entramos a los banquillos, al campo, al calabozo, a los vestuarios y a la sala de entrevistas. Fuimos a cenar a un restaurante griego y de postre volvimos a comer helado.
For lunch we had some mash potatoes with slices of sausages and for desert… Ice cream! In the afternoon we visited the Borussia Dortmund football stadium. We saw the bench, the field, the cell, the changing rooms and the interviews room. We had dinner at a Greek restaurant and we had ice cream for desert, once again!

Today, after having breakfast, we went to the Music Classroom to practice the story of the Firebird.
Para comer, tuvimos un plato típico alemán que se hace en Navidad.
For lunch, we tasted a typical German meal they usually have in Christmas time.
Por la tarde fuimos a un parque muy grande y chulo y lo pasamos muy bien.
In the afternoon, we went to a huge park to play, and we really enjoyed it.

At night, we had lunch at an Italian restaurant.
Después de desayunar, fuimos a ensayar en cuento del Firebird y pintamos el decorado para la representación. Después nos grabaron en uno de los ensayos para poder hacer el CD del cuento.
After having breakfast, we went to practice the story of the Firebird and we draw the scene for the presentation. Then, they recorded our voices in one of the rehearsals to make the story CD. After that, we had some hot dogs for lunch.
Más tarde fuimos a comer, hoy nos dieron perritos calientes.
In the afternoon we visited a Mining Museum and we got into a real mine.
Por la tarde nos llevaron a visitar una mina y entramos a verla por dentro.
At night we had dinner at a Spanish restaurant and then we went to bed.
Por la noche, fuimos a un restaurante español y después nos fuimos a dormir.
Por la mañana desayunamos y ensayamos por última vez el cuento musical.
In the morning we had breakfast and did the last rehearsal before the presentation.
La actuación fue después del recreo, vinieron todos los alumnos del cole, los profes y los padres a vernos.
The presentation was after the breaktime, and all the students and teachers at school came to see us, and also some parents.
Después fuimos a hacernos la comida: brochetas de verduras, espaguetis con tomate y de postre gelatina de fresa con nata, ¡estaba riquísimo! Por la tarde fuimos a dar un paseo por Bochum y a cenar a un restaurante griego con todos los demás niños y profes para despedirnos.
The we cooked our own meal: vegetables brochettes, spaghetti with tomato sauce and strawberry jelly with cream for desert. It was delicious! In the afternoon we went for a walk in Bochum. At night we had dinner at a Greek restaurant with the rest of the students and teachers to say goodbye.
Por la mañana fuimos hasta Dusseldorf. Dimos un paseo al lado del río Rhin y comimos en un restaurante alemán.
In the morning we went to Düsseldorf. We went for a walk near the Rhin River and we had lunch at a German restaurant.
Después fuimos al aeropuerto, hicimos escala en Frankfurt. En el avión nos dieron de cenar un sándwich.
Then we went to the airport, we took a plane and stopped at Frankfurt. We had a sandwich for dinner at the aircraft.
Por la noche llegamos a Bilbao, donde estaban nuestras familias esperándonos.
At night, we landed in Bilbao where our families were waiting for us.
