Passion For An African Child (PAC)Charity Ball

November

2011

Passion for an African Child (P.A.C) is an organization that was founded for one purpose: to improve the lives of our impoverished African brothers and sisters. The focus of PAC is on the minority child, otherwise known as the female child. The goal of Passion for an African Child is to improve the quality of life for female children in Africa and remove them from the horrors they may face including child trafficking, molestation, female circumcision, arranged marriages and many other issues female African children are battling every day. Theywant to help reduce poverty in Africa by promoting education amongst children, providing much needy medical supplies to medical centers in rural areas, and providing shelter for orphans. PAC held their 1st Annual Charity Benefit at the Embassy of Ghana in Washington, D.C. on Saturday, November 5, 2011 to raise funds to support impoverished children in Africa. The Special guests included Mrs. Matilda Osei Agyeman, the head of Chancery at the Ghana Embassy who stood in for the Ambassador His Excellency Mr. Daniel Ohene Agyekum, Ms Fifi Soumah-Miss Africa USA 2010 with performances by Fif Wilson and many more.
