1,000 strong! It is with overwhelming excitement that this edition of A.C.N.
reaches you with a membership directory of 1,000 companies. In the midst of the worst economy ever, contractors from Mobile to Huntsville have chosen to be a part of an association that is relevant to their industry and that is looking out for their best interest. The most resounding way we protect contractors’ rights can be found in our legislative review on pages 40 and 41. Your Board of Directors has made it clear to staff that our association will be the voice of construction in Montgomery. Please carefully read over the calculated moves and meetings we have instigated this legislative session. The very fact that three meetings recently occurred regarding Session 2013 before Session 2012 is over speaks volumes for our leadership. This issue is certainly our favorite here at ABC. It reminds us of the industry we represent and difference our members make to the landscape of Alabama and beyond. Each member highlighted in this directory has paid their dues to make a difference. Please utilize them whenever possible. Their dues are an investment in ABC to better the industry so please reinvest in them when possible.
