The Brief

Background

Using the title ‘Tacit Knowledge’ develop a concept to underpin the work of the graduating students for the BA (hons) Fine Art Degree.

The Fine Art graduates require a yearbook and showcase of their work to be used as promotional material at both the Leeds College of Art exhibition and Free Range in London.

They also require a flier to promote their exhibitions.

Concept/Proposition ‘What we cannot say’ Tacit knowledge (learning through doing (non-verbally).

Considerations

Mandatory Requirements

The design should not over-shadow the work of the artists.

An agreed final design for print.

A flexible layout to accommodate for varying medias, scales and disciplines of work.

2000 units of the Flier.

Stock, print finishes, spot colours, layout, typefaces, colour, scale of production, cost.
