Learn more about the important role of structural
foundations in layout design. •
Compose multiple layout designs using grid systems
as a foundation: manuscript, column, modular, and hierarchical. •
Work with supplied copy and images to create
a compelling layout. This might involve working in collaboration with photography students, or using my own photography. •
Learn about ratios and proportions such as the
golden section, Fibonacci sequence, golden spiral, root 2 rectangles, and rule of thirds. This will also inform some debate for my dissertation.

*More focus on editorial and layout. *Continuous development of branding. *Working with continuity and range. My FMP was good fun, however I did not fully exploit the use of continuity across the formats.
