Lines of function Stefan Autzen autzen@ofir.dk +45 22755884 The Peacoat

An attempt to bring the great american design tradition together with the strong scandinavian sense of materials, functionality and simple living. A discreet feminine fushion between the univers of Poul Henningsen, and the the destinct vertical lines and simple functions of the Hilfiger peacoat.

The Copenhagen Style Juan Eduardo Becerra Bastias jubas@student.dkds.dk +45 27136235 The Peacoat

The Copenhagen Style takes its point of departure in ‘simple living in urban space’. Bang & Olufsen is the Scandinavian Icon inspiration. Their design is clear and simple -- it is simple living. In The Copenhagen Style the lines are in correspondence with the body. The lines mark the body, in this way creating a clear and simple expression.

Nordic Latitudes Anna Falk anna@annafalk.se +46 739982558 The Star Cardigan

The lines, the colours, the horizons and the attitude of the North float together in soft contrasts, creating a balanced framework of traditions, handicraft and design that harmoniously interweave with the rhythm of nature.

Through the moss on high heels… Rebecca Louise Frederiksen rebecca_frederiksen@hotmail.com +45 40274485 The Sleeveless Trench

From my admiration of the untamed Scandinavian nature I began the deconstruction of the Trench Coat. The asymmetric shape allows the Trench to be worn in many ways making it a useful yet modern garment. ‘When I grow up I want to be a forester run through the moss on high heels’ - Fever Ray

The Scandinavian Twist Karin Eggert Hansen mail@karineggert.dk +45 21862986 The Nautical Sweater

The Scandinavian Twist is inspired by twisting architectural buildings and the contrast between light and dark, which I find very Scandinavian. I have worked specifically with the twisting cable knit, enlarged it, and draped it around the body, making the twist the most important feature of the style.

The Subtle Sound Karoline Thomsen thomsen.karoline@gmail.com +45 50554981 The Chambray Boyfriend Shirt

The subtle sound of leaves falling from an oak tree, wet hair - sticky from the salt water on a warm summer night, bright windows with curtains in the gloomy shiver of endless darkness in frosty winter mornings. My Scandinavia can be described in few words: sheer - honest nonchalant & pure

Infinite patterns Yvonne Laufer yvonnelaufer@gmail.com +45 50204078 The Denim

The infinite shades of the sea and sky conjure a sentiment of purity and melancholy that only Scandinavia can. Take a closer look and discover structures beyond the instantaneous sight - like hidden patterns on the pavement and subtle waves in the ocean. The Denim’s attributes reminded me of that certain mood.

Heavy Loaded, But Still Flying Bag Trine Kristoffersen trkri@student.dkds.dk +45 23447758 The Weekender

We move around in the city on our bikes, with our luggage, in every kind of weather, rain, snow and sunshine. At all times of the day we carry, in large bags, everything we need for the day and the night. The Heavy Load Bag symbolizes this.

The Dim Blanket Anne Remien Thomsen anneremien@hotmail.com +45 50440348 The Ruffle Shirt

My inspiration is nature’s floating transitions; a grey area of neither beginning nor end as with dawn and dusk. Here lies a dim blanket over the landscape which tones down colours, shapes, lines, and creates an indefinable whole that is beautiful and evocative. I have dragged the ”icon” through mist and fog, and hereby reached a Scandinavian simplicity.
