Apple Pay Will Soon Change How We Pay for Things - Hyperlink InfoSystem

Among all the major announcements that Apple made a few weeks ago, one announcement was such that although it didn't gather a lot of interest in the Apple fan club, has slowly making people sit up and take notice. I'm talking of course about Apple Pay, one of the most exciting concepts to come out of the hardware/software giant's hub. If you're still wondering about what Apple Pay is, then here's the long and short of it. Basically a form of contact free payment system that is supported on the latest Apple devices like the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus apart from the iPhone 5s and some latest versions of the iPads.

Now, retailers need to make sure that their shops have the Apple Pay enabled terminals in order for the payment process to go through, but that's about it. Once users have updated to the newest version of iOS 8, they can quickly set up their Apple Pay accounts in mere minutes and be ready to go out and shop. And almost all of the early adopters of the system have expressed joy in how easy and quick it is. Apple Pay has the potential to become really big in terms of reach as well as the versatility, but it needs cooperation from the retailers as well, which has not been a path of roses so far. With news out that a bunch of retail giants are themselves coming up with a Pay like payment service, which apparently, they had been planning for the past couple of years.

But we all know that, when it comes down to it, the customer is king and ultimately, the popularity of the Pay system would force naysayers to change their ways. This is something that someone looking to create an iPhone app, especially one that deals with any kind of payment, should give a good thought to. Before you hire iPhone developer, you should discuss with your team about integrating Apple Pay for any and all purchases. A good enough reason for this is that users are always in favor of spending money on stuff, especially if its in-app purchases that would offer them something of value, be it of the virtual kind or the physical kind. And the faster and hassle free they can get it done, the more they're probably going to spend. And when it comes to users' finances, nothing beats a system that is more secure than what's prevalent. Apple Pay has definitely been advertised as a platform that is very secure. Wherein

users' details, financial details are securely stored in the cloud in an encrypted way and their transaction information is never exposed to any third party app or channel.

This is yet another reason for you to hire iPhone app developer to create apps keeping in mind the next big thing in mobile payments. Close on the heels of the the Apple Pay announcements, is a newer payment terminal system that is looking to make way for how commercial establishments, both small and big will interact with customer information and offer the merchants a portable and safe solution that doesn't burn a hole in their pockets as well. All this goes to show how the world of eCommerce is growing very, very rapidly and those who aren't flexible enough to adapt will find themselves losing out big time.

And people have already taken to the Internet and expressed their satisfaction with the service with YouTube videos and blogs all over the place. And since Pay uses Apple's touchID to authorize transactions, you can hire iPhone application developer to integrate the service to your app fairly easily. What's more is that Apple is working hard to make this service available across its various platforms. Apple Pay will be supported as mentioned above, by Apple Watch as well as the latest iPads.

Then of course, you can't really talk about Apple Pay and leave out current situation of how it is being ferociously blocked by various US retailers that are looking to keep as many customers from using it in a way to block them off in favor of their own product that's going to be available in a year's time. The MCX or Merchant Customer Exchange, that is a group of retailers that have gotten together to create CurrentC, the payment service that on the surface looks a lot like Apple Pay. Although, very little is actually known about how the service will function, let alone be different from the existing Pay. Now,

the interesting part about this is that latest updates in have shown how the MCX has now spoke out in saying how Apple Pay use by member retailers will not be penalized by the way of any fines. This is a particularly interesting development considering two of the major MCX members had ended up blocking NFC service at their stores completely.

Incidents that follow aren't really putting a positive light on CurrentC, what with a recent hack leaving early adopters email IDs being stolen, the main focus of the argument is that CurrentC is many months away from being available to the public and those who are hell bent on opposing it right now will end up losing business for all these months without any reason. And as it stand, it has done nothing to gain the trust of consumers that have been irked by its breaches, and unannounced proceedings.

As competition rises at the retail sector with everyone wanting a slice of sweet pie, only the flexible and adaptive ones will come out as winners.
