4moms 2015 yearbook by may kim

2015 is in the books. 25% revenue growth. Launched the mamaRoo 3.0, Breeze 2.0, 4moms App and bouncaRoo. Massive expansion with Target doors. Kicked off China distribution with Little Star Luxury. Positioned to launch our High Chair, Infant Car Seat, Origami Go, Moxi, Tub and tons of accessories in 2016. All with a team that shrunk from 174 to 158. One word. Amazing. And those are just a few of our accomplishments this year. As always, we continue to Believe in Better. The marketing team completely restructured their product team into two groups (Brand and Product) and Software restructured their operations into three (IT, App and Ops, and Enterprise Software). We started weekly product meetings with senior leadership. We implemented a new web platform and upgraded our ecommerce platform. Members of the international sales team began working overseas for extended stays. Engineering shuffled things around a bunch at the end of the year. 4moms University was founded. The first Leadership Circle was kicked off. And those are just a few of the big changes we made this year. That being said, it has not been an easy year. But as this book attests, we’re 4moms. And that means something. It’s been another year of Being Humble, Working Hard and Respecting Others. We’ve also Had Fun, even if it wasn’t as easy this year as in some years past. I once read a question, “If your life was a book, would anyone want to read it?” This yearbook is another chapter that we have written together, and its pretty great. I am massively humbled by all of you and I could not be more proud. I’ve never meant it more when I say, “There’s nothing else I’d rather do and no one else I’d rather do it with.” For the 10th consecutive time, next year is going to be our best yet. I can’t wait for 2016. Thanks for being part of the team.

HOW WE GOT STARTED

In 2005, Rob Daley and Henry Thorne met for lunch. Six hours later, they’d decided to form a company. Rob’s business acumen, Henry’s engineering expertise, and a shared conviction that increasingly inexpensive electronics could add value in static product categories gave them confidence. Not long after, a focus group of four moms gave them insights, ideas, and a name for their company. From that first Digital Spout Cover to the mamaRoo infant seat to the origami stroller and more, 4moms products are innovative, elegant, and helpful to parents everywhere.
